I have purple hair myself and am personally offended by the color they chose to use.

The new neutral "black" might need some fixes as well tbh, it looks gray in most hairstyles instead of proper black lol

Oh yeah, definitely. I especially hate that the brows look awful on most dark skins.

Thanks for the edit. For a second my mind went like "where did I go wrong? I lost a friend..." Also cause I've just completed it so if it was crap, well... rip I guess

I don't know what file/files you downloaded, but this issue usually happens when you don't have the mesh the retexture was made for, meaning you have downloaded files that are meant for packs you don't own. If I don't own a certain pack I see those missing meshes in CAS too, but I've never had any autogenerated npc wear those hairstyles, so that's weird.

Also, I have to add that, for example, I currently don't have Journey to Batuu in my game and I can only see the missing hair meshes of that pack in the purple NON-default shade that I made. In the case of any DEFAULT replacement, I see no missing content and no "question mark demons". So I don't know what's happening there.
