Hello, I downloaded the update but my sims still won't feed when they drink milk.
I put the screenshots between before, during, after. I don't know what's wrong, but something is definitely wrong...

In the XML file (Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.Twinsimming.Drink), increase the tunable value kHungerRateDecrease to 1.5 or above. Currently, it's set at 1.1.

Increase it to 2 or more. Also increase the Hunger motive rate in the ITUN. Currently that's set at 150. I changed mine to 200 and saw the Hunger motive increase noticeably.

Obviously, before alarming you I tried several values. When I did the test I set it to 3 and the ITUN to 200 to be sure to see the difference and it didn't do anything.

The Dashboard doesn't show any conflict, but the settings have no effect in my game...

The hunger bar doesn’t move at all or it moves very little?

It moves a very little, but always the same amount, regardless of the settings I make.

Can you upload both your ITUN and XML files here?

I don't see any issues with your tuning, so I'm not sure where the problem lies yet. Try out this version of the mod and see if it changes anything.

I think I've fixed the issue now. Download the latest update and tune the values to your liking.

It finally works ! Thank you so much.

If other people go through this, know that you have to raise the values high enough for the difference to be noticeable ^^

I absolutely adore this mod. Thank you so much for making it! I do, however, have an issue with the milk ingredient. Everything else works fine, but I can't for the life of me get the game to recognize the cow milk as the milk needed for recipes. I don't mind the cartooned milk duplicate from the Cooking Overhaul mod still being in my game, as long as I can use the cow milk (your milk) to cook with. I've followed the instructions, and have read through all the comments on here at least a dozen times, but I just can't get it to work. They are still two completely seperate items in the game. Maybe I've still managed to mess up somewhere in the ingredients XML? Any ideas what the problem could be?

There are quite a few different versions of the mod and each of them seem to contain multiple files, but the file you want to edit should say
"<?xml version="1.0"?>
<Ingredients>"
at the top. From there, follow the instructions in the text file included with the mod download.

To add butter as an ingredient, do I need to add the ingredient name or the ingredient key? They're not the same, like with all the vanilla ingredients.

Oh wow that definitely shouldn't be happening. I'll do my best to help!

For starters (and this is going to sound like a silly question), are you installing these mods in your Sims 3 folder or your Sims 4 folder?

If you're correctly placing them in the Sims 3 folder, do you have other mods installed aside from my own? And do they work okay when my mods are taken out?

From there, can you tell me which mods of mine you have installed and run into crashing issues with?

And lastly for now, which folder are you placing my mods in (Packages or Overrides)? And where is the folder located?

Yeah i've made sure it's in the right sims folder, sims 3. Sorry, I have a lot of stuff downloaded so the list may be a bit large. So from you I've downloaded This, Breakfast At Twinsimming's, Sunscreen, tooth fairy, acne, and the video gaming skill and livestreaming mods.

Other than that I have these installed:

Lizcandor Attraction and Polyamory

Nrass Go here, Selector, Hybrid, Saver and Error Trap

Pretty much all of Icemunmun's stuff

Monocodoll's remove shoes mod

Living Sheep

Custom traits manager

Family Secrets

and Grilled Cheese Aspiration.

Everythings in my sims 3 mod folder in documents, tried both overrides and packages and both seem to have the same issue. Hope this is helpful info!

Yep this is great info!

Try taking all of your mods out, leave just the Tooth Fairy mod in, and delete the scriptcache file in your Sims 3 folder.

After that, launch the game as normal and see if it still crashes.

The Tooth Fairy mod doesn’t have any dependencies (no expansions required, no additional mods needed), so it’ll give us a good baseline to work with in terms of testing.
