Thank you for doing this!! This is so sorely needed after 10 years of atrocious half wall design. I'm assuming you have already tried, but can the end piece made smaller, or even so it almost sits flush with the wall itself? That end cap ruins so many builds.

I had a few attempts at trying to stop the trim overhanging the end so much but I couldn't get it to work. I even made the mesh half the length of a wall piece but the game seems to generate the overhand based on how wide the trim is so it should be *slightly* shorter than a regular trim but not by much.
