As far as I know, from what I have read at MTS, "no custom content" is not the same as requiring just the base game, as this lot indicates it does. And being base game compatible is not the same as requiring only the base game. One means it will work with the base game (and possibly some or all of the expansions), and the other means that you don't need anything but the base game for it to work.
I have seen this issue all over MTS. The wonderful people who own and operate this site have made very clear, in the uploading rules and guidelines, the difference between "is compatible with" and "requires".
I have also read here at MTS that if you have, say, the base game plus the first three expansions, and you make a house that contains no custom content, only people with the base game and the first three expansions will be able to use the house without problems, even if there is nothing in it. Is that right? I have seen that stated in several places here.
I am not condemning your lot; I think it is a nice one. But I did want to point out that there may be an issue that you aren't aware of that someone might be having, and the tone of your reply was kind of defensive. Maybe 300 people had no problem, but perhaps others that did didn't bother to comment. I don't know. It just seems like if I had done something that someone had a problem with, I would try to figure out why, or point that person in the direction of a possible answer instead of just telling them they are wrong.
If someone knows that something I have said here is wrong, please correct me. I am just going by what others have said.
And BTW, it crashed my game, too. I have the base game, UNI, OFB and Pets, but not NL (can't find it anywhere since I just got into the game a few months ago
and I downloaded it because the icon says it only requires the base game. Had I thought about it, I would have realized that the bar, if it is a proper one, requires NL, therefore rendering this lot unuseable by anyone without NL (there are what, like, three of us out there ?)
BlackCat, please don't be offended by what I wrote; I am just trying to clarify things and point out that there might be someone having difficulty for reasons you aren't aware of. But thank you for taking the time to create the lot. Even though I can't use it, it is nice that you put it here for others to take advantage of.
