Story books are full of fairy tales, of Kings and Queens, and the bluest skies.

Why won't your game let you have careers/majors?

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate

I run my game on my laptop, and when I add career/majors, it takes about an hour to load (usually takes 15-20 minutes) and then when I try to get into a lot, it just stops and sits there until an hour or so later I just reboot. I once fell asleep and about 8 hours later it was still sitting there trying to load. Oh well, no careers and majors for me.
Your stuff does make me laugh tho, and I will load it onto my desktop once I have it back up and running.

I realize this may be way late, but I had the same thing happen. I removed all my custom careers and majors and added one at a time, and several of them caused that effect. The custom careers even caused university lots to refuse to load. I deleted the ones that did that, and now the game runs fine. I would guess that you've already solved the problem, but hey, why not post the suggestion for others, right?
