Two more Vala scraps... I am never going to finish this

Date Posted: 28th Apr 2013 at 4:25 AM

B: Well, she's our boofer laidee, int she?
G: What do you mean?
B: Wull, she's boofer, int she? An' she's a laidee, int she? A real laidee, you kin tell. An', an', she's real nice, an' she brings food an' that, an' if it all gets too bad, she makes the pain go away.

G: So would you make the pain go away for me?
V gives him a long level look.
V: If the cancer, or the cirrhosis, or the acquired immunodeficiency became more than you could bear, then yes. I would. But not before.

Scraps again, with Vala

Date Posted: 11th Mar 2013 at 3:49 AM

This makes three parts written out of six.

G: What kind of mishuggeneh client can only come to the office after dark?
SL frowns slightly and glances significantly at the shadows behind him. Vala steps out fo them, heels clacking on the floor. G shrieks like a schoolgirl.
V: Apologies. Old habits die hard.

V: I would like to place money in a legal trust, to be held until a person comes along to give certain signs and passcodes.
G: That's pretty unusual. Why don't you just tell me the name?
V: I do not know yet the name. It is a long-term trust, very long.
G: The firm may not be around as long as you need.
V: That I do not fear, Mr. Goldberg. Your line will be long and your work successful.

Before I forget (again)

Woah! That is so rock 'n' roll! And feminist!
It is?
Yes! You're saying to The Man "No! Biology is not destiny! I reject your heterosexist socialization! I am going to be who I really am, in spite of your artificial gender binary! And you can take your male privilege and shove it!"
I'm saying all that?
Of course you are! You're my new hero! Let me buy you dinner. Please?

Points to ponder (MC)

Date Posted: 16th Feb 2013 at 5:53 PM

P is afraid of the RHl. (O used to scare her with them.) She believes to near the point of paranoia. Thus why she will rps.

Questions
!. Why would O rps? Perhaps because the boyfriend isn't interested unless she's dead? Goths!
2. Why would C rps P? P's idea, not C's, to evade the RHL.
3. Is there an expiry date? No, because extending is not possible or motivationally sensible.
4. So why would anyone agree? Mostly they don't.
%. So why would Casilda agree? ...

Figured it out! (MC)

Not enough redheads -- all black hair and blue eyes. THAT's why the RHL is interested. (Theoretically, since they aren't really because big sisters are mean that way sometimes.)

Dialog for intersitial bit

Date Posted: 14th Feb 2013 at 11:50 PM

Vala: That man in there is a good man. You know this?
SL nods.
V: And he is observant, for some things. Not so much for others.
SL nods vigorously, raising her eyes to the ceiling.
V: So you will need to ask him for that you want, always. Or better, tell him what he is to do.

More dialog scraps (MC)

Date Posted: 8th Feb 2013 at 12:17 AM

OA: Casilda will inherit all, of course, as she is the youngest.
L: Why "of course," Poppa? You aren't the youngest, and neither am I.
OA: Nevertheless, that is the law, and it leaves Casilda provided for. Olga I shall have to return to, as the boy I have found is too young, but he will do nicely for Pitti-Sing.
L: Poppa, you're younger than Momma.
OA: True, and love levels all ages, but it does not level them quite as much as that. Now, as for Glen's child, it can marry Leila's first born. That will make it a true Shankel.
