Hey! I've gone from zero to 40 in meshing! and have only left a few major pileups in my wake.. :D

Our Mod group is getting ready to publish our premiere theme! It's so exciting! We've gathered a great team and made some unique stuff for your game that no one else has done (at least that we were able to find.) I think you'll like what the team has done. :D

Only blew up a few dozen meshes....

Well.... It's coming along nicely. I only blew up a few dozen meshes before I got the hang of it...

Now! On to the 'Frankie' part! - Chopping off a bit of this mesh and adding it to the other bit.

Meshing

I'm having an adventure - learning how to mesh. Tiggy's & Hystericals' tutorials are really well done - now if only I would follow them correctly instead of jumping around, grabbing the bits I want, I may end up with a proper garment instead of a Morticia special for cousin Gretchin. Learning how to make wall hangings

Date Posted: 20th Aug 2006 at 9:44 PM

Hi!

Well, when people asked me how I decorated my Palazzo di Venezia and wantd the art, I had to figure out a way to do it. My game had crashed due to blotation of the download folder. SO, after I rebuilt my game, I ended up redoing the central atrium, which I like much better. Along with that, I spent days and days searching through MTS2 for the art I hand spent months aquiring which would be suitable for palazzo type paintings. I found a few but not everything I would like to have.

While I did find the Birth of Venus, it was on a small frame. The actual masterpiece is about 15 by 29 feet so it really needed to be on a larger frame. After searching the world's online museums, I found a good enough image file, so I redid it closer to the actual size, scaled to sims. I did the same for several other masterpieces which I will upload here. I want to do Leonardo DaVinci's 'The Last Supper' to sim scale. I'm still searching the online museums for a good enough image file.

None of this would be possible of course if not for the wonderful tutorials made by Numenor - Recoloring Objects with Object Workshop (new):

and CynicalChick - Creating Custom Paintings with Photoshop -

And Numenor for CEP And the many contributors/makers of SimPE - "Carrigon, Deedee, Delphy, IgnorantBliss, JWoods, Numenor, Pinhead, RGiles, The team from SimZone, SnowStorm, TazzmMann, WDS Brianna, Xanathon and the whole modding community that constantly contributed to improve SimPE"- You can get SimPE at http://sims.ambertation.de
