The book I ordered finally came today. I've been waiting for what feels like ages!

Edit: My best friend has just made my day even more. She isn't a vegetarian, but I am and we also live with another girl who is a vegetarian. One of our other housemates makes a massive deal out of it all the time, always criticizing and asking saying it doesn't make sense. My best friend is always sticking up for us towards her and she just sent me a message saying: "She's just so selfish towards vegetarians, I mean it's like, get a clue, people have made a life decision, RESPECT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Mum is planning a trip for her and I to go to Melbourne in the school holidays :3

The DVD of Tangled (which I wanted to see), Within Temptation's new album, and the Nintendo 3DS all come out late this month. I won't be getting a 3DS, at least not at launch, but the other two I'm really excited for. This made my day because I found out exactly when they come out :D.

I found my old TS1 game and EPs, oh God, how I missed them.

Tonight is going to be great. Not only is it a birthday thing, but we're also farewelling all the drama students going on a huge excursion tomorrow, which means double the celebration :D

I got into my top choice law school and I have an offer from a second one as well! I'M SO HAPPY.

I have actually managed to teach my brother's (huge, and quite frankly terrifying) male cat to accept claw clipping in exchange for chicken. Unfortunately, my Pavolovian conditioning of "temporary discomfort of claw clipping = CHICKEN, OM NOM NOM!" has had the unfortunate side-effect of making him drool all over my hands while I'm cutting the nail, in anticipation of the chicken. Blech!

I interviewed for a media fellowship at my college and the director of the program and I got along swimmingly. Here's to hoping it went as well in his mind as I thought it did.

I just made the most delicious healthy pizza for lunch. Om nom nom.

I just listened to Fuckin' Perfect by P!nk. The verse that goes, "So complicated, look happy and you'll make it" really got into me. A lot has happened in the past few weeks, and thanks to that song I realize that if I manage a smile and keep my head up that my day will get better.

I've also realized that I've got an amazing friend. Even if she doesn't understand what the pain I feel is like, she'll still comfort me in the times when it feels like I can't move on.
