My Dad got home from work an hour ago and he'd been into town to the post office and got my mail, I got my math work back marked and I got outstanding, marked as an A which is the highest grade here

School is off today, and tomorrow! But my parents and little brother still work today, so I don't have to deal with them. :D

Finally understanding how to perform scansion. English teachers have been trying to explain this for years, but no one understood how to identify stressed and unstressed syllables. Thanks to my AP Lit teacher's ingenuity, I finally get it.

I managed to get another B in a science GCSE. I really thought I'd failed because I don't understand a lot of chemistry, so yeah, I'm quite surprised! I can somehow just do science without thinking or revising for exams :P

I watched District 9 today, and it was really good! I totally thought the little kid alien was adorable, and the whole movie reminded me of the Holocaust.

I still don't understand why the one alien's name was Christopher, though.

District 9 was okay, I was hoping for an epic aliens -vs- human movie, but that wasn't the case. :P

A fantastic night and day. My best friend for life (has been since we were six!) stayed over the night. I sorta thought it would be a crap weekend but apparently fate works in wonderful ways...

There were two many people on our bus Friday Afternoon (as per usual) and I happend to be one of the people left behind, despite me being a LOYAL PAYING CUSTOMER WHO GETS THAT BUS EVERY DAY all these people who just wanted to get to the area which i live in got to go and i didn't. Neither did my friend, which is alright.
So we set off just to walk around the area near my school and think about where the hell we should go. We definitley couldn't walk. (we live in the same area.)
Anyway, as we're walking a long we see said best friend leaning up against a fence. She was waiting for her dad to pick her up. And he said he'd take us home too. So after Maddie was taken home they came to my house and my bestie ended up staying the night. It was so fun!
Then the next day (today) we walked to Maddie's (the friend we dropped home) house and spent nearly five hours together, even though we told Mum I'd be back in half hour. It was such a brilliant day :D

then she got up and started shakeing her bum and she walked out the dressing room lol

I love meeting a new breed of dog. Had a lovely fetch session with Mick and our new friends, a gorgeous pair of Eurasiers, a breed which I had only ever read about, never met before (until today).

I'm moving to Melbourne, Australia, and I just pleasantly found out that it's summer there. And winter here. Which means...POOL PAR-TAY!

My dad just got home and brought the mail with him,, I got an A et Tres Bien in French .. Thats the third A I've gotten from all three assessments i've done this year for different subjects .. A real change for me thats for sure.

One of those boys who just shouldn't exist. I'm so used to egotistical idiots that are constantly worried about their reputation. And this one comes as a shock after two years o fthat, I can tell you.

When I woke up to find the guy I like who told me he wouldn't have his phone for the next 3 days + going on a trip, texted me to say he got his phone back

Spent 8 hours straight with my best friend, we watched Jumanji and half of Bring It On, then decided that we could be cheerleaders too. But then we decided that our university squad's uniform was not in our colours and that frankly we couldn't be bothered to go to practices so we ate dinner and she taught me to jive instead.

Being told by three different people that I'm prettier than the guy I like's girlfriend. Probably not true, but nice all the same.

*sigh* My friend needs to stop bringing inappropriate things to class and leaving them out where teachers can see. I can't say it wasn't funny, though...xD

Spent the day with one group of friends, and later I'm going to see a movie with two of my housemates and two other friends, then go to a cocktail bar/restaurant for dinner and drinks. Also, finding out that none of my housemates resent me aside from the one we all knew about, and that everybody thinks it's weird that she's basically moved out in a self-imposed exile with her boyfriend. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that.

A thought-provoking "Peanuts" comic I read today. In it, Lucy is studying and asks Snoopy to bring her volume 5 of the encyclopedia. Snoopy goes to the bookcase and pauses. We then see him gleefully trotting back to her with book on head. She takes it, then proclaims angrily that this volume 7, and calls him dumb. Snoopy trots back to the bookcase for another try, pauses for a moment, then licks the spine of one of the volumes, he then despairs that they all taste the same to him!

People forget that dogs don't necessarily see the world the exact same way as we do! It's a comic that every dog owner should read.

The start of spring break- finally! :D

Three and a half hour "heart to heart" with 3/4 of my housemates...we've all accepted that the last housemate isn't coming back and it's best that way, which is reassuring after what I said to her. It's also pretty funny to hear people slur about how much they love you about twenty times in an evening after they drink too much vodka from the bottle going around. Needless to say I avoided getting drunk and saying anything personal unlike the others.
