I was complaining about the surplus of "flying ponies" this week so far (slang for "bitchy people" between my sister and I, since we were little kids and had to have codewords for when we swore, and I guess it stuck) to my sister on the phone so she emailed me a picture of a flying pony getting hit by a car to make me feel better xDDD

My mom bought me a new iPod to replace the one that got stolen. She is seriously amazing, I don't know how to thank her, especially since she was under no obligation to by me one whatsoever.

I went shopping today with three friends and had such a good day. It's getting so close to the end of the year and graduating that it was nice to spend time together like that before we all go our separate ways.

Took a giant leap of faith into the 21st century and bought a laptop. It was a very spur-of-the-moment decision that I'm sure the extremely frugal part of me will feel guilty about later... oh well. I'm sick of having to insult this computer so much. I'm sure its feelings are hurt by now.

But. Um. I earned a bag of milky way bars by basically teaching my Indo class today. Because we were doing some IT thing but the school's only IT teacher skipped or someshit, and yeah. And my Indo teacher was all "OH MY GOD REBECCA YOU ARE AWESOME" for the whole lesson. Which was slightly creepy, but. Being told you're awesome is nice. :3
Oh, and our ISP have swapped us to some other service thing for a while for free [whatever else we were using is crapping out majorly] because, according to the guy I was talking to earlier, they "owe us".

If Becca's internet is totally back up, my day has been made. :D

Today, I have successfully finished all exams...Yay!

I won my school's creative writing scholarship and the school's English department award, which is given each year to an exemplary senior writer. Because of that, there's now a plaque with my name and photo on it in the atrium next to all of the past winners. I'm so honored, I'm just over the moon.

I'm going to NYC this summer! :D

One of my housemates told me she was so glad I lived with her this year, and another told em I was her best friend ever and she's going to miss me incredibly. I almost cried as they were both telling me how much they loved me. Leaving is going to hurt so much, but over the past few years I've really let down barriers and let myself get attached to people and I'm really pleased I did because they mean a lot to me.

1) I got a perfect score on my French speaking test!

2) The guy I like :lovestruc asked me to help him at French, where I have a 100 average! He is probably the funniest person on Earth! He's so random, it's amazing! :lovestruc Aaaaaand, he invited me to his house for a fire pit tomorrow! I'm gonna go!

So, in my chemistry class, me my (girl) friend and my guy friend were just chatting, and my guy fried says to my girl friend "Your boobs are bigger than usual" none the less this leads to hilarity, and yes her boobs did look a bit bigger looking at them. After that he kept staring at her forehead and my friend was like "You know I have eyes, right"

Freya: Yeah, at work it was really boring, so we started playing air hockey with the continents table. We used India as a puck because it was the smallest piece.
Ben: What, was England on one side going "Woo, imperialism!"?

I was the only one who got it but he and I laughed for ages.

Librarian: I'm walking through the middle of your game, guess I have to ask the question. Who's winning today?
May: No one, we're not playing.
Librarian: Oh, good, I have this awesome game to teach you, give me all the cards... *throws cards at us* It's called pick up 52.
Kristy: Actually, 50, Rebecca's got two of the Queens. They're personified and she won't let go of them.
May: Kristy, that's private. Go eat a leaf.
Kristy: Okay! :D

She didn't eat a leaf, but. Our school librarians are getting more awesome and my friends are getting stranger. :3
[And I didn't actually have the cards, I put them back in the pack as soon as Kristy personified them as myself and a certain... other person... and started making a King and one of the other Queens have sex. We're so mature. xD]

My laptop arrived at the store! Unfortunately I won't get it until tomorrow night (it's not exactly a short drive), but it works out fine because I have to work tonight and all day tomorrow so I wouldn't have a chance to use it before tomorrow night anyway.

Firepit moved to tomorrow, but my crush was frantically asking me, like, a bajillion times,"You're coming, right?!?" And everytime I told him definitely yes, and he said each time,"YAAAY!"
