Wakin' up and wondering if I should warm up the Chinese food or wait for everyone else to get up so we can get a head start on Sydnen. Can't remember why my mum decided on today, but we're all goin' on vacation (yeah, we're spontaneous) so that means 1) I only have my netbook and 2) I get to ride in a right-hand-drive for hours on end. Approx. 700 km in a car that makes me sick because I sit on the right side usually but now my shotgun seat is on the other side.

Actually, around 5 weeks of school. One week is work experience and another is full of rubbish stuff.

Our work experience was before Easter I think (I'm not in Year 10 yet) but the next few weeks are mostly going to be populated by the crappy talent show thing and I'm fairly sure there's introductory day and a trip to London and stuff going on, and I think it may actually be six weeks. I'm not sure. I will probably be the last to know, as usual.

^ Yep. Crappy talent show thing. Because they're not even calling it a talent show, which is what it is. Crappy because no one with any talent whatsoever is auditioning this year, apart from, like, three people. I don't think I'll even bother going this year. It won't even be funny like last years, just... horrific.

...And, as for what I'm doing, that would be trying to find a calendar on my laptop. And trying to remember what date the last day of term is.

Well, I start school in September, so I guess that's probably about right.

EDIT 2: That's like mid September, if you're wondering. And God, I hate the whole people-wanting-to-sign-stuff thing. And the rush to get out of school at the end of term, which is pointless really because they don't bother when it's the weekend, and it's not as if home is going to blow up if the drongos don't get home early, so why...?
