I believe ours doesn't slow down our internet, just charge us heaps extra. I mean HEAPS!

I believe it depends what plan you're on, when you're on a high usage amount they tend to just slow it, rather than charge. I don't know though. Either way, they still cap internet, whether they make it slow or charge you for it, it's still capping it.
