Yes, you can use any expression in a collage, but make sure that the neutral shot is present and clearly visible in it. Also, since all pictures became smaller when combined, keep the size as big as you can

With her good looks and crazy ways she got to star in all kinds of horrors right away. She got a huge roll in the next horror film :The Smell of Sweet Revenge, playing a abandoned doll (Lulu) seeking revenge on her owner...

Maggie a 9 year old girl bought a life sized doll seeking a friend. She named her Lulu. They did everything together tee parties, dress up even sleepovers. They where best friends until Maggie turned 16. Seeking real friends and falling in love with boys Maggie started to abandon Lulu. At the age of 18 Maggie was moving out of her parents house. While packing, she dropped Lulu, cracking her face. Tired of the doll, Maggie threw her out. Feeling sad and betrayed Lulu laid on the trash heap. One night a thunder storm approached...A thunder blot filled the sky, hitting Lulu, filling her with energy. With her new ability to move as she pleases she has decided to get revenge...Maggie was going to pay for what she has done. Lulu will stop at nothing to get her revenge and she will kill anyone who gets in her way.

wizkid770, yes, you can have another Sim in your 3rd picture as long as it's clear which Sim is your main character.

minimogut, technically zombies do count as horror, but it really depends on how you interpret it (I've seen some comedies with zombies too). You can make a horror film even from a child's bed story, so your interpretation is what really matters here.

If I understand you correctly, you are asking about the CC backdrop, right? You can use whatever CC or object from the game for the background, as long as you do not photoshop it

She was now destined to terrorise family after family that move in against her will, as she gets weaker the demon gets stronger. Will the next family be able to get to the book of secrets and figure out how free her? or will they only be devoured too eventually causing the demon to take over Rosie's body forever with dire consequences.

I understand what you mean about putting her into a role that could be considered "adult" and I will admit that the story was a little a rushed due to me panicking that I would not get a spot in the contestants.
I thought the last picture might have been a little dark and the reason the last picture being stretched was because I resized it without locking aspect ratio by accident ^^

The judges' feedback on my character was really helpful and also made me realize I was massively subconciously channelling Mara Wilson for my actress. I'm trying to pay more attention to my face sculpting this time around, though its admittedly a weak point of mine. Sims I make fall into either the pudding bin or the fugly bin. I love them anyway, but getting the look I want and not falling victim to the fug is hard.

Very helpful feedback; I'm glad I waited for it before pushing through with my next round. (And for the question - the red is actually an evil spirit (as in ghost hunter career) in escape mode. It does look rather splodge like). I need to remember to look at the pics on my second monitor, since it's darker and probably more standard (my first is on specific gaming settings).

I'm not usually a sim maker, so this is lots of fun! Though having to take pictures in game makes me a little sad because my sims look nice and detailed in CAS and a blurred, discoloured mess in game

Natsuri West is a 20 year old Japan native. Growing up in Japan wasn't easy, especially since she was only half Japanese. Acting has always been her passion, and she stuck with it through college even though her parents wanted her to get a degree in a something more "civilized". She's best known for her striking face and unique hairstyles. It's rumored that when asked to cut her hair for her role as Tori Kimura in Operation X, she promptly took an electric hair trimmer and shaved the hair off half her head!






It's the year 2015 in the city of New York and a new evil has hit the streets. The Dragon's Fist Gang has taken over most of the city, and has the police and citizens alike in constant terror. Amidst all the chaos is Tori Kimura, a young and blood thirsty cop. She's undercover and working her way up the ranks of Dragon's Fist, for what the precinct has dubbed "Operation X". Tori's goal is to get to the gang's elusive leader "Raven" and take him down. Tori has other reasons for accepting this job however. The man known as "Raven" killed her brother, and Tori has vowed vengeance. This young and ruthless cop will stop at nothing for her revenge, killing anything and anyone who gets in her way...

Nicole Summers, age twenty-three, is a kind, caring, and gentle young woman. She grew up in northern Pennsylvania, only an hour away from city life. Nicole's first plan of action for when she grew up was to be a pastry chef, her love of cooking feeding the wish. Later, she changed it to master in film, awestruck with finality of films and theatres. Deciding to go into directing, Nicole went to film school in New York. After working since she was eighteen, she was offered a paid internship with a world famous director on a new movie. She was set to be the director's assistant and a set hand. On the day for shooting for one of the scenes, one of the actors quit, leaving them without a victim. With no time to cast another actress, the director put Nicole on screen, getting her into costume and make-up.

Operation X

"Operation X" brings the myth of the Minotaur and the Labyrinth of ancient Greek mythology to life. A secret government agency charged with creating military traps to protect official buildings, builds a giant maze in front of a top secret government facility and houses a monstrous, lab-created beast. It is requested from the head of the department to have it tested to see who will survive it. Taking on the challenge, the agency kidnaps several different people to survive the maze with the beast inside. The plan soon becomes known as Operation X, the X being a play on the X rating on movies. One of the characters is teenager, Trina Wallis, who is coming home from a date and is kidnapped by the government. She wakes up trapped in the Labyrinth and is scared to death. She becomes aware that there are other people with her as she hears screams and roars. Trina is a small part with ad-libbed lines and she is one of the first to die with the main protagonist by her side. She is trapped against a wall in one of the first Labyrinth scenes and receives several hits to the face from the beast before the protagonist shows up, but he is useless as Trina is punctured in the chest with the beast's long, large nails.

If we do a collage for our promo shot, are we allowed to color the background something other than white in photoshop? Just to fill in the blank spaces? I realize you said not to alter the background, but I wasn't sure if that counts or not.

You shouldn't alter the background in Photoshop, unless you are just adding a border, logo or text It doesn't matter what color is your border, so you can go creative with that instead.

The way contests typically work for multi-rounds is that in the application round (in this case Round 1), contestants apply by submitting an entry. Once the deadline comes around or the maximum allowance of contestants is reached, the duration of the contest is closed to new participants. The contestants who submitted an application are "locked in" as contestants for the remainder of the contest and those who didn't get a chance to apply must watch and wait for a new contest to enter.

I'm sorry that you missed your opportunity to join this one but MTS contests have been picking up in recent months so hopefully it won't be too long until the next one comes around for you to enter!

I'm awfully sorry for my late reply regarding the scores (I've been so unbelievably busy nowadays) but thank you for the feedback, dearest judges I know my movie description is horrible but I'm horrible with words so I'm hopefully going to improve that this round forward.

Mary Rhodes is a 19 year old college student majoring in English with dreams to become an English teacher with a focus in classic literature upon graduation. As part of her curriculum, Mary is enrolled in a theatre acting class to complete her fine arts requirements. During a production in which all students must participate, a local director interested in a "nobody" for his next film lead decides Mary must be the one to play his female protagonist.


In The Silent Hunter, Natasha Scott is just your average girl who spends her days in community college classes and her off time working at the local bistro. All this changes when she is diagnosed with a terminal illness. She begins treatments but nothing seems to work and eventually, the doctors tell her that they have exhausted all the options and all they can do is make her comfortable until the end. Unwilling to sit back and wait to die, Natasha stumbles across an unorthodox and risky procedure and decides to go through with it, without notifying her doctors or parents.

When Natasha slips into a coma, her doctors inform her parents that she is nearing the end. Her parents, devastated, begin discussing when to pull her off life support. Meanwhile, in her coma, Natasha has taken a trip into her body, to fight the disease now killing her. She comes face to face with her illness; multiple, corrupted clones of herself, mutated and fighting against her. Natasha will have to face her worst nightmare, knowing this is her last chance for survival, unaware that on the other side, everyone has lost faith in her chance to wake up. Will she run out of time or can Natasha eliminate the threat against her before it's too late?

She was always a slightly troubled child who felt alone and often rebelled against her parents, school and made friends in the wrong places. Though she always dreamed of being a movie star, she managed to land a few roles before her substance abuse took over her life, especially after the death of her parents. Many years later after a long battle to get clean with support of her family and finding a better choice of friends, she was able to land a role in the horror/thriller, House of Horror.

It was the beginning of Spring, the flowers beginning to bloom just in time for Silvia Collan's upcoming 12th birthday. The day arrived slowly but surely and all her friends and family were there to celebrate though as time passed throughout the day everyone started noticing the lack of her parents, worry and anxiety high in the air when police showed up at her home to inform her of her parents early but quick death in a car accident.

Two week later after she was given time to mourn, hold the funeral and pack her things she was moved to her Aunt Gina's House, her father’s youngest sister, a place she had only visited a few times when she was younger. As each birthday and death anniversary passed she noticed her aunt behaving increasingly strange, it wasn't until her 16th birthday she decided to explore the basement after hearing strange noises coming from it, upon the last step she was frozen with terror. What horrors did this house hold?

Gina Collan was an unmarried woman living in the old country house her parents once owned before their mysterious death plagued the small town of Riverwood. Many of the townsfolk did not trust Gina and the older folks often told stories to the younger generations of the woman being a witch. She was indeed crazy, more so than the town knew. How exactly did her niece fit into her House of Horror? Just what was she planning?

The scores were a huge help and I really took into consideration what you guys said (especially about not making things so matchy-matchy lol I admit I went a little overboard in the first round xD) and tried to improve this round So, here's my round 2 entry:

Name: Bridgette Monsoon
Age: 20

Bridgette was always the shy girl who had prefered to stay home and read rather than go out and party with her friends. One day while at the mall a casting director was holding an open casting call where he was looking for a young, sweet faced actress to play the lead role of a new horror flick. Bridgette's best friend dared her to enter and she agreed if only to shut her friend up. But Bridgette never expected to be chosen and flown out to Hidden Springs where acting debut began!

In the movie The Sweet Smell of Revenge, Bridgette plays Mallory Dark, a deceased scorned bride who is out to exact revenge on her killers. Once a beautiful, happy young bride Mallory is poisoned on her wedding day and dies at the alter. Everyone is shocked and no one knows who the killer could be. Three weeks after Mallory's death her sister Emily has began dating Mallory's fiance, Lucas, and soon they become engaged. No one see's the dark secret the couple are hiding. On Emily's wedding day Mallory comes back from the dead to reveal the truth of who killed her, the two people she trusted most in the world. And she won't stop until she ends them both. Revenge is sweet, afterall.

With Darker Than Night, director Marco Del Piero continues his move from slasher flicks into more serious thriller territory, and Cam brings some much needed gravity to the role, his second under Del Piero. "Cam's got a good head for authenticity," Del Piero states in interview. "I remember in The 25th Hour [Simmy award winner] we did a scene in a blood splattered room. Cam walked in, took one look, and started laughing. I'd gravitated back to B-grade horror with stupidly unrealistic amounts of gore."

Michael Tassos appears to be a normal man. He has it all: well paid job, beautiful wife, adorable daughter. But everybody has a past and Michael is no exception. Most people in his new, clean cut world don't even realise it's possible to sink as low as he's been.

As the daughter of the famous actress Elizabeth Abbott, Vivian has been surrounded by movie stars her whole life. She had a few minor roles in some of her mother’s films as a toddler, but her first big break came at the age of twelve when the vibrant and talented young actress was cast as the lead in an epic trilogy of movies based on a fantasy book series about the human daughter of an ancient Greek god. Ever since then, her career has been red hot, but she hopes to break through the child star stereotype by portraying the sexy and sarcastic character Genevieve in The Silent Hunter.


In the aftermath of the Second World War, chaos and confusion dominate the European landscape, and dozens of dangerous war criminals remain at large, hiding amidst the devastation. As one of the CIA’s most brilliant and cunning agents, Genevieve Sinclair has been tasked with the job of hunting down two of the top Nazi generals and stopping them from selling their secret weapons designs on the black market. Using her smooth charm and quick wits, she must go behind enemy lines and befriend the Nazis in an attempt to gain their trust and steal their plans. Rachelle was born in England, but moved to America at the young age of six. She began taking drama classes around the age of nine and continued through high-school. She has starred in a few TV dramas and has been in one movie to date. Her slight English accent along with her facial appearance helped her get her role as the main character in 'The Sweet Smell of Revenge'


Set in London 1888, Jack the Ripper was a well known killer. From what people knew, Jack the Ripper killed women, mutilating their bodies, sometimes taking parts of the victim with them. In 'The Sweet Smell of Revenge' Jack is not actually a man, but a woman. The story begins when she was given a scar by an unknown woman. Her fiancee left her, wanting someone beautiful for a wife. She set off hoping to find the one who scarred her. She murdered a young girl, thinking it had been her, but quickly realized she had suspected the wrong person. Nightmares taunted her until she finally went insane. Now, she does not only seek revenge on the woman who gave her the scar, she seeks revenge on all woman more beautiful than her.

As an alread mega-famous Vocal Legend, Jamesetta knew that directors would do anything for her, when she wished. And so, when she decided to turn to acting, the movie world was her oyster and she could pick and choose which movies took her fancy. After numerous films about her and her music life (including 2008's Cadillac Records), Jamesetta wanted to do something different. Horror.

Operation X is about mad scientist, Dr Xeus, who is obsessed with turning the world into zombies and modifying these new 'creatures' so that they follow his every command. But on one rainy afternoon, whilst the Dr is working and creating, a meteor hits the ground just outside of the tower. This causes a small earthquake throughout the city, knocking one of his new modifications, OpX:0009 (Jamesetta), out of the machine. Due to the fact that she wasn't in the machine long, OpX:0009 is only33.3% modified! Can she use her own intelligence to out-do this maniac and restore the world to normality? Or will the Doctors new found power make her weak?

Here's my second entry, its not very good as its a bit rushed but never mind.

Albrecht Schmitt is a 23 year old actor born in Stuttgart, Germany. Albrects's talent at acting became obvious from a young age, when he joined a drama club at his school, he has gone from strength to strength ever since. He got his first acting role at 12 year old when he auditioned to play a part in a television series in Germany. When Albrecht turned 18 he went to live in the North-East of England, to take a degree on drama studies at Durham University and in the process improve his English skills, to help him get a job in the more prominent english language productions. He fell in love with a girl in the area and has therfore remained in England ever since. Albrecht auditioned and went on to win the role of Alex Lehman, an assasin in the low budget english produced film 'Operation X'.

The film set in 2063, in a bleak world where the aristocracy of a United Europe, desperate to gain acess to Russian land and resources hire assasin Alex Lehamn to kill the newly elected president of Russia, Abram Arshavin, after he refuses to proceed with European-Russian unification. Will Alex listen to his conscience, or collapse under the threats of certain death if he doesn't do what he is trained to do?

You may know Eugene Clark, 78, editor and head of Bridgeport's Clutterlot Press, as the nation's most beloved curmudgeon to ever wage a one-man war against the film industry and paparazzi. Best known to today's generations as the harshest film critic in the nation and author of 12 books attacking Starlight Shores lifestyle such as "These Movies Are Bad And Barely Worth Reviewing" and best-seller "[Censored] those [Censored] in Starlight Shores: My Story," Clark was once world-famous as a 5 star actor, arguably one of the nation's first idealized stars. But when the story broke that Eugene had had woohoo with a vampire, Magda Cartwright-Clark, (his wife), Clark came to blows with 3 paparazzi and was fired for the incident, an event that Clark says was "ultimately the second best thing that ever happened to me."



Clark's return to acting some 47 years later thus took the entire world by surprise.



Under the working title, "Darker Than Night" is a film by indie studio Dire Chinchilla Pictures and a sequel/re-imagining of Eugene Clark's first film, "Bright As The Twinbrook Sun," where he played Emerson Midas, a private investigator tracking down a notorious bank robber. At its surface a western, the film was at its core a deliberately paced horror and described as the most nihilisticly dark film to ever come out of the era. While few details are available at this time, the film is speculated to be about the character's quest for revenge against the never-seen enemy who took control of the character's life and destroyed it many years ago.

When asked about his decision to play the role once more, Clark said that he was offered the role when asked to give the indie film his blessing. "The script was actually amazing, so I took it because I don't want some asshole ruining the only role I was ever proud of. If anyone's going to destroy what remains of my acting legacy, it's going to be me."

The Silent Hunter
 

Little Rebecca Blackwood is the eight-year-old daughter of celebrity gold digger, Goldie Blackwood. Becca was already a familiar face on television, appearing in many obnoxious adverts and soap operas, but was determined to break into movies. Or at least her mother was. Becca herself is a lively child, loves playing with her eighteen dogs and painting on every wall she looks at.

At that time the feminist movement of SimNation was brewing, and a film was made to take advantage of the current social climate. Enter The Silent Hunter, a project being developed by a rare female film director and raging feminist, Cathie Cuckler.

The film centres around a child with mysterious psychic abilities, who, disgusted by a male-dominated society, decides to become a vigilante feminist who fights crimes of misogyny with her murderous mind powers.

Rebecca’s acting in other works was received to be somewhat wooden and stilted, as well as having a continuous "pissed-off" expression on her face, which until this point was a hinderence. But under a different light with this picture, she gave a surprisingly errie performance, which critics praised her for, and the film generated a lot of money for her – and her mother.

Heres my round Three, im away from today so i'd rather get it in too early than too late, wether you decide to extend or not.
Erin Yorke grew up a wealthy daughter of Acting Dynasty the Yorke family. Mother Elizabeth York had even been in Silent movies for Plumbob pictures in the 1920's. Erins first and only movie before beginning her career in theatre was popular romantic romp "once apon a time" starring friend and A-list star Thom Banks. Erin stars as Marina, the mermaid princess who longs to walk amongst humans and goes to the sea witch (Pat ursine) to get human legs. The film itself wasn't very good, but as teenage girls will watch anything and rule the world in terms of deciding what is popular and successful, there are currently eight sequels planned. "Once apon a time - again!" is planned for next year introducing Gaylor Dautner as a rival fisherman for Marinas affection. Speaking from location while filming the movie in Sunlit tides, Erin was quoted as saying "i don't think the film is going to be very good, but the holiday villa it s going to buy me in Montevista should turn out to be beautiful!"

The test tube was an in game item from the chemistry set and I don't actually own photoshop (everything was done in MS paint) . I'm glad you liked my entry for round 2!

Haha, yeah, I kind of realized I didn't translate my mental image of my movie over into the entry. Basically it was supposed to be thriller based on No Country For Old Men, but when I went to write down the story I decided to roll with a less well-thought out idea. Thanks for the helpful feedback! :D

Elexis has done a fantastic job notifying contestants if they missed something, or added something they weren't supposed to, or have pictures that don't meet the standards. This actually goes above and beyond what a host is required since she could just assume everyone reads the rules correctly and gets everything right the first time and, if not, the judges will catch and dock points for it.

Additionally, it is your responsibility, once you commit to participating, that you check back in with the contest. How often you do so is up to you of course, but a host or judge should not have to track you down through PM to let you know something is wrong with your entry. Jessica Maxwell was born in Appaloosa Plains to a young single mother named Dahlia Maxwell , who was barely out of high school. Growing up she would often asked about her father, though her mother always tell her things about him though she never found out until she was in high school what happened to him. The day he found out Dahlia was pregnant a drunk driver had rammed into the car him and his friends were in, one of the four boys had died later at the hospital while one, her father, had died on impact. Though times were hard for her growing up, things always got better since her mother decided to move back into her parents house. Her grandmother always helping her daughter raise her grand baby, often taking the little girl to dance classes or being at her plays when her mother was working late shifts, but Jessica knew her mother was only doing what she could to give her a bright future. When she turned eighteen, as her graduation gift from her mother she was given a large college fund, the money that she had been saving since Jessica was a toddler. With help of her mother and grandparents she was able to go to a college of the arts. Though her looks seem to say she was a rebel but in truth despite the bright oddly coloring to her hair and bold make up she was a good girl with a guilty pleasure of wanting to watch ever romance comedy there was to exist, so when she was given the opportunity to star in “How I Met Your Dad..” she jumped at the chance with excitement.

How I Met Your Dad..

Candi Kane was born in the dead of winter, growing up she loved when winter came around for it was her favorite time of the year. As she grew her love for the refreshing cold air, the way the snow sparkled in the sun and all things winter increase, but there was one thing she longed for as time went by, someone to share it with and when she did she felt she was the luckiest woman alive. Years went by and two daughters later one winter night when she was tucking the girls into bed they asked for a story but not ones of princes’ and princesses but of how their Ma and Dad met and so the story begins as to how I met your dad...

It was early December, snow sprinkled lightly and sparkled in the sun as if sugar covered the ground. My favorite time of the year, though my nose was red and running and my cheeks most likely bright pink from being outside too long i couldn't help myself. I had decided to visit the festivals in the park, the neighborhoods always got together to make it beautiful and magical, i didn't want to miss a second of it. My friends, though not as in love with the season as i was, was always happy to go as well. Standing in line for the hot beverages stand, the man behind me kept pushing into my back and making small grunting noises of annoyance, though from what i could tell his friends were making him do it by the apologies in my ear and the snickering of people behind. Turning slightly and smiling politely before moving a bit more to put room between them, hearing quiet arguing as i did so but glad they stopped. Finally getting my hot chocolate but as i started to move away the man was once again pushed into me, from in front, though his hands rested on my shoulders with his body angled away from me causing me to hold the cup against my chest protectively not wanting to drop it or spill it. He whispered apologies again, smiling slightly before glaring at his friends who turned away, talking to themselves. I smiled back, deciding to introduce myself and start a conversation i had found out his name was August Wind and he had commented on how cute and pretty she looked with her red nose and pink cheeks.

He often stumbled over his words and feet, his clumsy but jokester charm often made me giggle and enjoy his company even further. On one of the days we had gone ice skating at the little ice rink set up at the festival grounds, he had fallen so hard i think he bruised his behind or broken something but i felt bad so i decided to give him a kiss on the cheek.

(not sure if i should have done this but i felt the need to since the snow cut off the lower part of her legs and it needed to be full body.)



During the week of festival we grew to enjoy each others company, But... ultimately he was unable to stay forever, he had only been there visiting with family during his only time for holiday though. On the last day, we had gone ice skating at the little ice rink set up at the festival grounds, he had fallen so hard i think he bruised his behind or broken something!I was sad of course, but i felt i could do nothing to keep him here but hoped maybe to see him again next year. Five years went past and we were only able to see each other one week each year, sometimes. On the sixth year i watched from afar, he had someone else which made me very sad but each time our eyes met at festival i felt sparks, and his eyes shown maybe he did too. Though this is not the ending! Another two years past before i saw him again this time alone, deciding to move to the town as he couldn't get me out of his head.
