|
lovin' the shirt, nina!
And the dress is really nice, elena! I have to wear a stupid uniform at school It's a really itchy dark green sweater or sweater vest On top of a white dress shirt With a dark blue tie covered in my school's logo And a green-black-red-blue-white plaid kilt (plus ginormous safety pin ) Knee-high black socks And black shoes |
Well, this is what I'm wearing to school tomorrow:
Uh, ignore my phone. I forgot to take it out of my pocket. XD |
^ Wolfy!
Um, we're not allowed digitals on campus, but at home it was somethin' like this: For me: White short-sleeved blouse, black knee-length skirt (pants in the winter if it snows, and ONLY if it snows), grey knee-high stockings, black fugly dress shoes w/heels, and our house ties, mine's emerald green with silver stripes, like the Slytherin one. Yeah. And of course if it's cold out (like rainy or just windy) there's these longsleeved sweaters with the house colors (green and silver for me) around the neck, cuffs and waist. The sweaters can be gray or black, but the gray ones are much warmer because they're of a different material. And for hair, you can do anything really, but only on weekends. If it's a weekday, aka class, then your hair has to be either down, in braids, a french braid or in a ponytail, tied with a ribbon in your house colors. Here in town it's just casual, but I'm going back soon so I don't really have a ton of clothes. |
I realized that a lot of people wear uniform...
|
I did until I was 16 =P
|
I did until I was 11. Then I had the choice between going to the high school I went to which didn't have uniforms, or the prissy private school with a hideous uniform that was an hour away.
|
Finally found the pic of my winter uniform! It's a year or two old, but anyway...
Took longer than i thought. Anyway, long sleeve yellow shirt (must be tucked it, top button done up) Blue and gold tie, must be perfectly done, and we can choose either a kilt (must be knee or lower. I prefer not to wear it, but in the pic I am because I had to receive an award at presentation night) and blue tights, or we can wear navy blue pants. |
^strange kilt?
|
Yeah. Strange, and very uncomfortable to wear in the middle of summer, which is when presentation night is. *sigh* Damn private schools. Though even the catholic primary school I went to had uniforms. Green and white checked dresses, or green long pants and a yellow top.
|
My Uniform is alright i guess, i mean i have had to wear one to school since i started. My one at the Moment
1. White Long Sleved Shirt 2. Black Trousers 3. Black Socks 4. Black Shoes 5. Black Jumper (optional) 6. Black Blazer 7. And a Dark Green Tie with the school Logo on it. |
All schools have uniforms here.
My uniform is white polo shirt, black jumper, black trousers, black shoes. Me in my uniform: |
We have a really simple uniform. It gets us dirty looks on school trips though, because just about every other school in the area have to wear skirts, blazers, ties, a certain colour of socks... The Catholic school have a purple and gold blazer and brown trousers/skirt *shudders*
...Anyway, my uniform is a white polo shirt with the school logo, black trousers or sometimes black skirt, and black shoes. There's also a black waterproof coat with school logo (optional) and grey jumper with school logo (also optional). That's it. We also have a uniform for PE - black or blue tracksuit bottoms/shorts and a blue polo shirt with the school logo, and white trainers, and a blue sweatshirt with school logo if it's cold outside. We're not allowed to wear any jewellry apart from a watch, a ring and one pair of stud earrings, though. And we have a grand total of one none uniform day per year. |
I have a uniform. Eurgh.
In the winter, its a white short (or long) sleeved cotton blouse, with a plain black or grey skirt or trousers, and our school jumper which is green. In the summer, its exactly the same, but instead of the blouse, a green polo shirt (with short sleeved). We are allowed to wear one set of stud earrings and a watch, and no jewelery...I always wear bracelets though..xD We get quite a few non uniform days, which is goood. :] I wish I didn't have a uniform. It sucks D: |
Becca, that uniform looks SO familiar. You're from Aussie, right? I swear I've seen it somewhere before. Ours is pretty much like yours. It's a white or yellow shirt (I actually can't tell whether it's yellow or white :P) and a navy blue plaid pleated skirt, but shorter than yours. Then there's in winter a navy blue cardigan (except it's a pullover cardigan so it's real itchy) and in the summer the same thing, just in a vest form. The trim is in silver and bronze. The tie is navy, silver and bronze (I can never do mine properly) and for shoes it's these horrendous leather loafers, but most people just wear regular skate shoes. If it rains, we have navy blue jackets that aren't really rainproof. I miss the days when we could just go casual but I guess because of all the stupid sluts who wear shirts that wouldn't even fit a two-year-old, they had to issue uni's. This is what I can show you from google of what it kinda looks like (not really, but just an idea because I don't have a pic yet):
