cupcake12winx 10th Nov 2010 8:20 AM

Pink footie pajamas + dog slippers + a lip ring = XD

lethifold 10th Nov 2010 8:42 AM

2 more parties have been lined up for the next two weeks. fdsajk, so keen!

Geah 10th Nov 2010 9:28 AM

Some really wonderful (relieving) news from my boyfriend.

And one of my old friends got Head Boy for next year, Couldn't have chosen better.

lethifold 10th Nov 2010 11:56 AM

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod. I'm such a teenage girl at the moment, but I'm spending tomorrow afternoon with my crush. I don't know if that's even the right term. We're pretty much on the verge of getting together :3 and we've already made out ridiculous amounts of times

cupcake12winx 10th Nov 2010 1:22 PM

Six pages, 2041 words, an epic battle, a chase, and a fall to conclude the third part of my story.

I love writing.

Same here, though I have trouble figuring out what to wear.

stygia2002 10th Nov 2010 6:28 PM

I heard from my nephew in Afganistan and found out he's coming back for Thanksgiving and will be bringing his family to visit...totally made my day!

PharaohHound 11th Nov 2010 3:03 AM

"Partners In Crime" was on TV tonight. I love this episode, I nearly fell out of my chair the first time I watched the end! Really the only time I've been genuinely shocked (in a good way) for TV.

Beccapixie10 11th Nov 2010 5:58 AM

Found out classes for next year... fjhdljgfbjkdfdf I have the best class ever. Well, the girls at least. :D

EDIT: And Mum's got us tickets to the HP Deathly Hallows part 1 midnight premiere thingie next week. SQUEEEEE.

lethifold 11th Nov 2010 7:02 AM

My boyfriend (I feel so weird saying that) is just plain adorable :3

Rabid 11th Nov 2010 10:56 PM

Getting the proofs of my senior photos back. When I actually have the digital files, I'll be sure to post some of them. There's nothing like being professionally photographed to make a girl feel gorgeous :P.

NightmareCandle 11th Nov 2010 11:37 PM

...Doing my Spanish homework.
I don't get it either. (The liking it part.) It's *homework*, it should not be fun.
God, I'm such a nerd. >.<

Vampire_aninyosaloh 12th Nov 2010 12:14 AM

@Cass: YAY Spanish! *runs away* Sorry for popping in the group xDD

Phoeberg 12th Nov 2010 1:04 AM

Kitty: I just drank a giant cup of pee...

She meant tea!

cupcake12winx 12th Nov 2010 6:40 AM

"women wat is ur problem?...........ok i sound lyk a wierd person but thet does not gve u the right 2 say thet!!!!!!!!!"

to

"Woman what is your problem? Okay, I sound like a weird person, but that does not give you the right to say that!"

Scary difference, no? This was too funny to be a vent about idiotic people. I corrected the person's "sentences" if you can call them that. I can't wait to see her response...

She never uses just ONE punctuation mark. Ever.

lethifold 12th Nov 2010 9:08 AM

A lovely lunch break in the park absolutely made my day (:

Rabid 12th Nov 2010 10:23 PM

Spending an hour on Facebook talking to a guy friend of mine who went into the military when he graduated last year. I've missed having a guy friend who can compliment me without there being a romantic motive behind it and with whom I can talk about my romantic endeavors with other guys.

minus. 12th Nov 2010 10:33 PM

After being surrounded by people so different from me every weekday, it feels so nice to spend an afternoon with the few I can actually talk to. I just love my friends to pieces.

Phoeberg 12th Nov 2010 10:38 PM

My brother text me saying "I need your help in getting a Christmas present" so I text back to say sure and ask him who for, and he texts me back to say for his girlfriend, Helena. They are so cute! Plus, this is the first time my brother has asked for my help in anything in ages. I think the last time was when he was studying the New Deal three years ago.

Dreamydre 13th Nov 2010 12:28 AM

Getting my homework out of the way, and then out for the night! Haven't had a Girls Night Out in a while! Then I'm gonna be in Santa Monica with my mom, step-dad and my boyfriend. We're going to check out the new house, but it's also going to be a mini-vacation. I like having a boyfriend who can be comfortable around my family, he's so down to Earth. Ladies, French-Canadian men are the best men, haha ! (=

lethifold 13th Nov 2010 1:00 AM

One more week of school till summer breakkk (: 10 weeks of the beach, friends, parties, and sleep! And one of my best friends has just gotten a car for her birthday and is getting her license on Wednesday :D

Geah 14th Nov 2010 2:16 AM

Just got an 'I love you' from my sister
She has a really hard time saying that to people and I havn't heard it from her in a long time. She turns sixteen on tuesday, so I'm going to see her and give her the biggest hug in the history of hugs :D

thedivineone 14th Nov 2010 6:38 PM

I have this entire week off, my dad and I are going to see HP & The Deathly Hallows this week (it comes out on the 17th here, SUCK IT EUROPE!)
And we're going to have movie marathons everyday!

Best.Week.Ever.

Oh. I got another picked upload too

DigitalSympathies 14th Nov 2010 9:18 PM

^ Congrats!

I just got tickets in the mail for the HP 7 premiere, courtesy of my dad. YES!

Ranta 15th Nov 2010 12:09 AM

Got my room cleaned! Well, mostly. I hate the process of actually cleaning it, but it feels great now that it's done.

Oh, and my mum and I found an adorable (which is to say adorably tacky) pair of light-up penguins to put in front of the house this Christmas.

lethifold 15th Nov 2010 6:47 AM

My friend gave my boyfriend 'The Talk', basically saying that if Brandan ever hurt me, my friend would injure him beyond repair and make sure he never did the deed ever again. The look on Brandan's face was priceless.

Thank you, love.

Had a really great nap, a great cup of coffee and I am going to the arcade tomorrow with my cousins, I am gonna break the video games

Rabid 15th Nov 2010 8:57 PM

Pre-ordering Jonathan Safran Foer's new novel, Tree of Codes. I've waited four and a half years for him to publish something new; I'm so goddamn excited. Why oh why did I pick a favorite author who publishes so sporadically?

PharaohHound 16th Nov 2010 3:07 AM

SPOILERS for "Castle" (minor spoilers) and "House"

New episode of "Castle". Lol

Ryan: [About Castle and Beckett] Are those hickeys?
Esposito: Yes.
Beckett: No.
Castle: I wish.
Ryan: Okay...

On another TV note, did Cuddy and House just break up? I didn't exactly get what was going on. If so, imho that's an awesome addition to the day (I've never liked Cuddy!)

Geah 16th Nov 2010 9:57 AM

Well, it being my sister's 16th today, I rang her after she got home from her german exam and the call lasted just under 4 hours. Then my brother came home from school and he told me he's passed all his year 9 end-of-year exams and he's top of the class in physics . It makes me so proud to see what my siblings are already achieving. So this has made my day

Phoeberg 17th Nov 2010 1:20 AM

Kitty: You drink wine out of a glass...you're so posh! I drink it with a straw!

lethifold 17th Nov 2010 6:54 AM

HARRY FREAKING POTTER!

Gosh, I'm way too excited :P

cupcake12winx 17th Nov 2010 2:20 PM

^ Frig. I still have to get tickets for that. I wonder if it's even possible, with less than 2 days left..

PharaohHound 17th Nov 2010 3:06 PM

BEATLES ON ITUNES! No more crappy sound quality, illegal rips off youtube for me!

Phoeberg 17th Nov 2010 5:06 PM

Sometimes I love particular friends. One of them just text me to ask if "all's good in the hood?" I told her that no, it was not all good in the hood, as she put it, and she told me to come over to her house on Friday so we can drink a few bottles of wine and cry.

PharaohHound 17th Nov 2010 6:07 PM

Actually something totally made my day more. Doing great musical improvisation with my awesomely talented, sometimes challenging nine-year-old piano student, Sophie.

lethifold 17th Nov 2010 9:24 PM

GAH. Harry Potter was amazing. I would gladly pay to see it again. So good! :D

minus. 17th Nov 2010 9:41 PM

It's 10:40 PM, and I just got home from school. Philosophy was a blast, now I'm too pumped to sleep.

TRIriana 17th Nov 2010 10:24 PM

It's been a nice, relaxing day today - great especially after a hectic work day yesterday, when it was my first day as manager. And today I booked tickets for Harry Potter on Friday, with my fiance! :-D

Dreamydre 18th Nov 2010 12:32 AM

This retarted game I played with some friends last night.

My boyfriend and another guy friend got dared to kiss each other for 10 full seconds, it was kind of interesting because my boyfriend seemed to have no issue with it... while the other guy was all "no man not cool" but he knew he had to do it.

And I dunno why but it turned me on ;-) I guess it's the fact that here we view guys kissing as a "Taboo" and "forbidden" which makes it even more hot and alluring.

Rabid 18th Nov 2010 12:55 AM

The guy I've been kind of/sort of dating asked me to semi-formal. Neither of us like dancing, much less school dances, so I feel like he asked more because asking is symbolic of declaring that you have a crush on someone and less because he actually wants to go, but of course I said yes. Prolonged exposure to loud bass noise tends to make me dizzy, though, so I'm going to make it very clear to him that we're going to have to take the party elsewhere after an hour or so. I hate dances and I hate dancing, but on the bright side, I get to buy a pretty dress, to go out to dinner, to show off to my classmates that someone asked me, and to enjoy the pleasure of his company .

PharaohHound 18th Nov 2010 2:49 PM

It's confirmed: I'm going to see The Lion King on stage in Toronto this spring! My mom just bought tickets. YAAAAAAYY! :D

lethifold 18th Nov 2010 9:21 PM

It's my final day of classes for the year (: Bring on the holidays!

minus. 18th Nov 2010 9:42 PM

Celebrating my best friend's eighteenth with champagne and live music. I hope she had a great time, too, 'cause I sure had.

Dreamydre 18th Nov 2010 11:57 PM

Got in trouble at school for wearing my "I'm A Free Bitch Baby" t-shirt. I got so many compliments though, ugh adults suck the fun out of everything.

Zela 22nd Nov 2010 5:54 PM

Watching Gillian Mckeith faint on live TV.

lethifold 22nd Nov 2010 10:10 PM

Holidaaaays! 10 weeks of complete freedom :D

fthomas 23rd Nov 2010 9:06 PM

Nothing today, but, I'm a celebrity get me out of here is on later - probably will be good .
But, on Sunday, I watched...THE NEW HARRY POTTER FILM <3. Ahh, it was seriously amazing!.

Phoeberg 23rd Nov 2010 9:37 PM

I was going through old photos trying to find some photos from when I went to Lisbon a few years ago, and instead I found this hilarious photo from when I was in Rome. I'm right in front of the Colosseum and I look so angry. I remember being in such a bad mood that day and it really shows! I love going through old photos.

lethifold 24th Nov 2010 12:22 AM

I'm going out with a friend this afternoon for some shopping and then we're seeing Harry Potter again (:

Beccapixie10 24th Nov 2010 7:22 AM

I just had the courage to send a note to the guy I like on Facebook explaining that I didn't really ask my friend to ask him out on my behalf. ^_^

Phoeberg 24th Nov 2010 11:40 AM

YES. My father actually came through on something for once! Three things in fact, all which are very important to me!

Rabid 24th Nov 2010 3:28 PM

Seeing Harry Potter. Thousands of people are going to fall in love with Nick Cave after hearing "O, Children" in the movie, which is a very good thing. Also, getting an A+ on a math test. I don't get A+'s on math tests; I always make a few stupid mistakes that knock me down to an A or an A-, so it was exciting.

Daisie 24th Nov 2010 5:12 PM

Writing 800-1200 words on "lessons from Christopher Columbus' [sic] life" on my one free-ish day of Thanksgiving break.

/sarcasm

Kailacat 24th Nov 2010 10:43 PM

I made a gingerbread house with my mom today, but the icing squirter thingy broke - so we just used our fingers it was lots of fun.

I've already been asked to loan my Nick Cave CDs out numerous times to people since the movie's release :P.

What's going to make my day is the fact that the weather is warm, the sun is shining, and I'm due to spend several hours lazing by the pool.

PharaohHound 25th Nov 2010 3:32 AM

Seeing my community theatre's production of The Fantasticks. Lots of friends in it, and my brother is the musical director.

I was shocked and appalled after sifting through the threads and not finding a thread in here about what made our days! So, to make everyone smile a little bit more, I decided to create one .

I had a very good day today.
First up, I couldn't sleep really early this morning, so I went onto the computer and my brother's friend was on MSN, so we started chatting and it ended up with us exchanging numbers :lovestruc . We've been texting back and forth all day as well.
Then, at school, I had heard about a few people in my year going out for dinner tomorrow night in a group thing, and I got an invitation! I'm really pumped for it, because it should be crazy awesome fun and the group of girls going is fantastic and I always have a good time when I'm around them. Now all I have to do is convince my mother to let me buy a new dress, and I'm all set!

What made your day?

Thanks for starting this thread. Nice! Well, what made my day is my wife made her first home-made pie crusts for Thanksgiving tomorrow and my daughter, who is a special needs person, helped make them and both the pies came out absolutely PERFECT, which completely made my day because my wife's so happy and how can you beat that? Also, my daughter is very excited about tomorrow because it's thanksgiving. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND EVERYONE HERE :D

Dreamydre 25th Nov 2010 4:43 PM

So much food, my mom and I have it smelling like heaven at our house! Gonna make a Red Velvet Cake and a Hershey Chocolate Pie and Thanksgiving Dinner is officially complete! Picking my Aunt up at the airport at 10. Happy Thanksgiving girls!!

Beccapixie10 26th Nov 2010 6:16 AM

I have a teacher for English that literally no one likes. She tries to forces Christianity on people and her lessons often make no sense. Today, she was explaining manipulation to one of the boys in my class, and was talking about how technically making us stay in 'her classroom' is manipulation and was talking about who she thinks would stay if we had the choice, and only thought the 'misbehaving boys' would leave. Then, she asked everyone that would leave if they could to stand up. The whole class stood up. :3

lethifold 26th Nov 2010 7:40 AM

I had a lovely afternoon baking with my friend, the greatest part being the delicious end product :P

minus. 26th Nov 2010 12:23 PM

I'm getting ready to go to London. We're going to a restaurant and then cocktail bars for my friend's birthday. I have never looked as sophisticated as I do right now.

Rabid 26th Nov 2010 10:32 PM

I got accepted to my top choice college with a generous scholarship! It's not quite a full ride, but it's more than half and there will be other scholarships to win. I'm so fucking excited. A door to the next four years just opened.

DigitalSympathies 27th Nov 2010 12:57 AM

Rabid 28th Nov 2010 12:46 AM

I was browsing in a jewelry store in the mall today when I got a text from a guy friend.

Friend: That's a pretty bracelet you're looking at.
Me: This is creepy. Where are you?
Friend: That's neither here nor there. Nice ring.
Me: Come out, come out wherever you are.
Friend: You'll find me eventually.

He was right; I went about my business and he eventually snuck up behind me in Macy's to yell my name and scare the ever-loving shit out of me. It was an amusing (yet unnerving) afternoon.

PharaohHound 28th Nov 2010 6:21 AM

It is 1:20 AM here, the latest I've ever been out. AWESOME CAST PARTY for The Fantasticks! Holy smokes, our El Gallo picked me up like a sack of potatoes and started spinning around like a whirling dirvish (which was soooo much fun), I keep forgetting my vow to not hang out with "theatre people".

Okay, that was totally incoherent, I'm going to bed now...

Rawra 28th Nov 2010 4:58 PM

My bf made my day, by buying me a sapphire golden ring. It's <3ly!

Phoeberg 28th Nov 2010 9:16 PM

This really made my day yesterday, but I never got around to going on the internet.

I went home this weekend and spent all Saturday lazing with my mother, watching bad TV and eating everything we had in the freezer because we're getting a new fridge-freezer on Wednesday and she wanted to clear the freezer out! So much food, but it was so good. This semester is over in 12 days, and I cannot wait for the Christmas break!

cupcake12winx 29th Nov 2010 9:17 AM

A movie made my day. Not going to say what it is, but it's the second movie for a TV show I've loved since I was seven. Granted, it's only in Russian (only language on Youtube so far, anyways), but I've watched it 2 and a half times today. I can't fathom why someone would abandon a show they love just because they're too old. I've been watching this show for years... I'll stop rambling now XD.

What also made my day was getting back to the computer after four horrible days.

PharaohHound 30th Nov 2010 1:28 AM

I was flipping through a CD of the holiday concert of the choir I accompany, looking for my solo piece so I could remember how I did something. And I came across my first ever piano student playing "Beauty and the Beast", and I still remember the very first day she was taking lessons with me, she knew not a lick of piano but desperately wanted to play that song more than anything. Two years later, and there she is playing it.

Rabid 30th Nov 2010 1:39 AM

When I was pulling into the driveway, I glanced at my neighbors' house and noticed what seemed to be my brother hovering in the window next to their front door. After wondering what the hell my brother was doing at the neighbors' house, I looked with a closer eye and realized that it wasn't my brother, but rather a cardboard cut-out of Edward Cullen. It wasn't a silly leap of the mind to make; my brother looks like a darker-complected Robert Pattinson. However, I had a brief laugh to myself at the sheer ridiculousness of the whole thing. Why in the world would someone put an Edward Cullen cut-out in their front window? To scare away people who come knocking?

Kailacat 30th Nov 2010 4:14 AM

Rabid: That's hilarious!

Today was the first day back from Thanksgiving Break.
(For me that's a good thing. I love my school.)

lethifold 30th Nov 2010 7:52 AM

I got my grades back for the semester, and they're pretty damn good (:

Phoeberg 30th Nov 2010 11:55 PM

Buying some chocolate earlier:

Kitty, reading from the top of her Smarties tube: 'What C is an orange root vegetable?' Well now I have to buy this tube to find out the answer!
Me: I don't think you need to buy the tube to know that. It's carrot.
Kitty: What does yours say?
Me: 'What O grows from an acorn?'
Kitty: What's the answer?
Me: Please tell me you're joking.
Kitty: No, really, what O grows from an acorn...what O is that...? Do you know?
Me: Oak...
Kitty: Oh yeah!

Being told by my AP Comp teacher that I have a "once in a teaching career" writing talent and that she has no doubt in her mind that I'll win a Pulitzer Prize. I haven't been so flattered in ages... I think I blushed a thousand shades of red. That compliment is going to keep my ego stroked for months.

imaeatyaface 1st Dec 2010 2:50 AM

Talking to my friend, who just came back to the US.

lethifold 1st Dec 2010 2:58 AM

It's the first of December, meaning it's finally time to put up the Christmas tree (:

x-tashi-x 1st Dec 2010 7:43 AM

The fact that, like pixcii said, its time to put up the chrissy tree, but that its the first day of summer in Australia, hell yeaaaah ! (:
Plus im so tired I can barely move, and I get a student-free day tomorrow. Bring on the sleep in!

minus. 1st Dec 2010 10:12 AM

The first snow of the year! It's blowing snow rather than falling snow, but I'm okay with that.

lethifold 2nd Dec 2010 8:32 AM

I had a lovely day with a couple of wonderful girlies, involving going out for lunch in the brief hour of sunshine we got today, baking coconut cookies, and drinking tea whilst watching Skins. Fabulous ♥

Beccapixie10 2nd Dec 2010 10:39 AM

Thunderstorms, rain, and a fantastically fun middle years social :D

EDIT: Wow, that is the most fantastic lightning storm I've ever seen. :3

Zela 2nd Dec 2010 10:58 AM

Putting Christmas music on my I-pod, no school until later (study leave...) and the SNOW.

Phoeberg 2nd Dec 2010 11:11 AM

It looks like a winterwonderland outside! All attempts to match clothes and look remotely fashionable have had to be abandoned in light of the snow outside. I'm wearing a four tops and a sheep printed skirt, with cowboy boots because they seem like the most sturdy, waterproof shoes I have with me at university.

Geah 2nd Dec 2010 11:37 AM

Had a conversation with Derek tonight. One of the first really serious talks about pregnancy. Hearing what he had to say made my day. Why? Everything he said just sounded like Prince Charming.

I asked him what he thought we would do if we found ourselves in the position of getting pregnant at 18 (just a random young age out of my head) and he said: "First I think we wouldn't let it happen until we are ready but if it did....we would be good parents and do whatever it took to build a life and give the baby the love and future he or she deserved. I wouldn't freak out because I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I don't need anything in the whole world....except you. It would be scary but knowing we would be doing it together...I believe we would be ok."

When I was younger and first learnt about one-night stands I was always worried about a guy getting me pregnant and then running - my dad always tells me that he should have done that when I was conceived - so to hear this from the man I am head over heels in love with really makes my day. I can't wait for the day, whenever in the future it may happen, where we can call ourselves parents and he can be the perfect Dad to our baby.

Weow. ♥

lethifold 2nd Dec 2010 12:06 PM

I just found my dad's old SLR. Unnf, officially mine!

Dreamydre 3rd Dec 2010 4:33 AM

I'm grounded but it's funny because I'm kind of getting off the hook, because I'm sick and I've been in bed all day, so the Grounding isn't that effective. I'm not happy about being sick though, I have so much make up work to do as is :-(

fthomas 3rd Dec 2010 1:42 PM

Second day off school due to the snow! Four day weekend! Ahhh, yes please <3.

Zela 3rd Dec 2010 4:45 PM

Blimey, we haven't had a day off school yet for the snow. I can't complain though, I haven't been in school half the time the last two weeks due to mock exams and study leave... Hope you have fun in the snow. :D
I've finished my mocks! Yey!

Phoeberg 3rd Dec 2010 10:02 PM

Finished my last paper of the semester, 4,000 words long and due Tuesday. It's not the best thing i've written, but I'm so glad it's over with. Now I can finally start enjoying Christmas things for the last week!

Such a wonderfully fun day today! Also, I love running into my favorite teacher at gigs and in bars. He's so much fun and younger than my brother and so bloody gorgeous. :lovestruc

Well, this is just a community theatre-filled past month for me! Went to see a panto of "Beauty and the Beast" put on by another local amateur theatre group, with two of my best friends in it!

I found the reviews here: http://www.amazon.com/Sims-3-Late-N...erBy=addOneStar hilariously stupid. One was, "The disc was messed up." Okay, so the entire game sucks? Buy a new disc. The other was, "You need The Sims 3 base game to play!" ...NO SHIT?! The person was also complaining that "not all expansions need the base game to play." Well, maybe other games, but not Sims. As far as I know, EVERY Sims game, from 1 to 3, needs the base game. He might've been thinking about Castaway and the like, but those are entirely different games.

EDIT: Also, I swear I've heard this music before... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-HJYYtJ2xs
