I left my phone in the car today and my mom took it to work with her. So I haven't had to deal with other people's drama all day. :D

I was walking back to my car from my college classes when I slipped on a patch of ice and fell on my knees and scattered a few of my books. It hurt like hell and was supremely embarrassing even though there weren't many people to see, but a cute guy from one of my classes last semester helped me up and picked my books up. Clearly, chivalry is not dead.

Someone had put Percy Bysshe Shelley as their father on facebook as a joke, and Kitty says in all seriousness, "Oh look, her dad's on facebook too!"

It was actually last night, but I spent three hours hot-tubbing with friends. There's nothing like sitting in a hot tub while it's below zero and snowing.

What made my day, is how people were helping in the street, cleaning and cheering, today for the first time in my life, I saw Egypt for what it's really worth.

The director of the media fellowship program at the college I'll be attending sent me a handwritten letter stating that I'm a top candidate for the program and he'd like to interview me personally rather than let one of the lesser directors conduct the interview. I'm so excited and flattered. It's like a door to my future has opened in front of me.

Ice cream! It is about 32(89.6F) degrees here, so hoooooooot! ice cream couldn't have come at a better time!

An acquaintance and I were discussing our old sociology class; we used to sit in an assigned group with a friend of hers, who just so happened to be a rare combination of loud, obnoxious, jock-esque, cute, and somehow intelligent. She told me today that, out of class, he used to tell her all the time that I was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen (his words, not mine). I never got the impression that he liked me in the least, at the time. It's certainly flattering and funny in hindsight .

Planning out the menu for a seven-course dinner with two good friends. It was hilarious and it also made me very hungry.

My dad was in Germany on business all week and he brought back handmade German chocolate for me. Yummy! Sometimes I wonder how I'm ever going to find a suitable husband when the male role model in my life is such a gentleman; I worry that no one will live up to my high expectations.

I recounted an embarrassing incident that occured while on vacation with my family. To be honest I had a plethora of such stories to pick from. The fun really is endless with my family!

Let's see. Today I was at school and dropped my pencil, then I said "Shit!" My teacher happened to be right behind me and gave me a lecture that I wasn't listening to. Aggh, I was so embarrassed. The good part is that it makes a funny story (not for my parents, though).

And I saw two businessess with the acronyms "P.M.S" (not sure) and "S.T.D" (South Texas Dental).

All the guys missing in Christchurch have been found!! Bruised and battered but safe and otherwise ok! Yay!

Apparently it's supposed to snow on Saturday! I think my town deserves it, seeing as last year we had some snow that LITERALLY hit everywhere but us, like a donut with my town as the hole.

EDIT: I think I'm one step closer to fixing my laptop so it can play TS3. I found out what my graphics card is, now I just have to figure out how the heck to change it. I'm pretty sure it's the graphics card because the desktop I originally played TS3 on had graphics issues and crashes. The only difference is the blue screens I keep getting on this computer, but other than those I'm pretty much having the exact same problems.

Waking up and realizing I could go back to sleep.

I had a great study session at the library today. Three hours straight and I got such a good start on a paper that's not due for five weeks. It only ended when my friend whispered to me, "Don't you think it's strange how we wear shoes on our feet?" I knew then that it was time to leave.

This was actually yesterday, but I bought a beautiful $100 cocktail dress on sale for $15. It doesn't fit perfectly because, as always, my chest isn't large enough to fill out the dress, but I'd much rather buy an inexpensive dress and pay $10 to get it tailored than buy an expensive one that fits perfectly. Sales make me so happy.

today I learned how to say "horny mail prostitutes dipped in chocolate" in sign language!

I feel really smart for figuring out how to change Rainmeter! I'm a true geek... haha.

Also, I'm so excited for the play my school will be putting on in just a week! We sound really... interesting so far... but pit orchestra is a lot of fun! We're having an informal "party" after it's all over so that we can watch the finished play, as we're down underneath the stage right now and can't really see what's going on.

I finally got an idea for a story that I'm super excited about! I've had writer's block for ages, so it's an amazing feeling.

Also, something my english teacher said in class today really got to me: "Whenever you're upset, take a look around: there are thousands of people in cemeteries who would gladly trade places with you." I've been kind of sad about a couple of minor things for a while now, but that really helped put them all into perspective.

Random Lady: "Mr. Humphries, have you looked at the whiteboard since you walked in?"
Math teacher: "No, I haven't, why?"
RL: "Look."
MT: "Oh, someone wanted to let us know about the Finesse Uncle's College of Kitchens"
RL: "That was very good"
I can't believe it took him 10 minutes of teaching to notice it and the fact everyone was laughing their asses off. xD

My dad came up with a great solution to my computer problems. Tomorrow he's going to try to fix the family desktop by running a restore, which will wipe the hard drive and hopefully fix it. However, instead of putting it back in dining room for all to use, he suggested we put it in my room (or the garage, since I don't use my room right now..) and I can use it for Sims. This would be AWESOME because it already has the right graphics card and an empty hard drive. He said he wouldn't mind having to use the crappy thing we have as the family computer now, it's not actually that bad. All my parents use computers for (besides internet, durr) is pictures and files. They don't game or anything. The ONLY downside I can find to this is that the computer he offered me has a history of viruses. It got one in (I think) May of 2009, which prevented me from playing TS3 till like July. Now it has some virus/other fuck-up that prevents it from being turned on at all. So, I would definitely want to back up my games, but other than that...

My dog. I had a little piece of bacon from a piece of pizza, and I dropped it in front of her, expecting her to catch it. It went right past her face onto the floor and she kept staring at me. I had to guide her down to it before she found it.

EDIT: I walked out of my room a few hours ago, early in the morning, and looked out the window and saw white all over the roofs across the street. I got all excited, thinking it had snowed, but it was just ice. But what I found cool was the fact that there was ice everywhere outside, even on our grass out back. It's just something that I've never seen before.

My friend and I made "Oh you fancy huh " our "catchphrase", we say it all the time. And while we were at the airport the other week, we were talking about weird things that people wear and putting the catch phrase at the end like "You dyed ya wig with purple koolaid, oh you fancy huh?", "You got them skinny jeans on with them thunder thighs, oh you fancy huh?" as wack as we are we did get some people to laugh at us, it always makes my day when I make someone laugh (:

Several things.

First, the desktop computer is downstairs in the dining room installing TS3! Yeeee, I can't wait to see if it works.

Second, I found most of the third season of the American version of my favorite TV show to download. I hate it, but I want it anyways because it's the version that got me interested in the show.

Third, water tastes good for once. It normally makes me nauseous, but today it tastes way better than anything else we have.

I am replaying TS2 so I decided to start off with the Goths, I decided I wanted Cassandra to break up with Don but without breaking her heart so I decided to make them argue...for 6 continuous hours, anyway while they were arguing Don got scared by the ghosts about 8 times, and he peed(ed?) himself every single time, not to mention Cassandra laughed at him hysterically each time he did.

Revenge is sweet, so freaking sweet..mwahaha..*cough*
