I've finally entered a piece into a writing competition. I'm rarely pleased enough with my work to do so, but my teacher pushed me into it, and it feels great to know that it's off my back (and potentially putting money in my wallet )

I had to open at my job today for the first time and it earned me a key to the store. :-)

Today is my 2 Month Vegeversary (I became Vegetarian on Feb. 12) and today my mom has joined the Vegetarian Club! My step-dad has been Vegetarian since January 1, 2000, it was his New Years Resolution and today he's transitioning to Vegan. I think I'll become Vegan a year or two from now.

I started translating a new book. This one sounds extremely interesting :D. Too bad it's 200 pages.

A coffee after school and a walk in the snowfall with an amazing guy, and a bunch of fascinating presentations. I'm one of the few people actually enjoying Science Days in school.

Ha, you just reminded me that I'm seeing Darren Criss in the glee concert I'm going to. YEY!

What made my day was the amazing clothes I bought.

I got this top, this top, this dress, a plain black vest and a t-shirt that has a pineapple on it, wearing sunglasses, and says 'tropi-cool'. Hehehe. Sure, I spent a lot of money but I got some good deals. :D

It's my last day of term before two weeks of holidays. I only have to sit suffer through a two and a half hour essay and then I'll be free! :D

I may be going to Ireland with my mom to visit family. I haven't been to Ireland in sooooooo long, omgah.

Got a new puppy. Hes part mini dauchsand(sp?)(50%) part maltese(25%) and part applehead chihuahua(25%). We named him Brownie.

Getting a new pet is the best feeling! I remember when I first got my Yorkshire Terrier, in less than a week I had already spoiled him And then when we got our two cats in '09... instant spoilage! haha. I think what makes it more exciting is the prep work you do before the pet arrives. Congrats on Brownie!

Best night ever. I went out for a drink with a couple of friends, we ended up seeing a play which then turned into an impromptu sing-along when the guys got their guitars out, and later it turned into a full-out party. I hung out with so many amazing people.

Redownloading everything for TS2 (not for my main game, hell no, I'm not redownloading 90k!) has made me realise the simple beauty in picking out items that I'll use and enjoy.

Went to the beach with my two homegirls, and three girls walking at the beach in Bikinis? Of course guys couldn't resist And this really cute guy asked for my number but I turned him down since I'm in a difficult relationship with this asshole, I mean my boyfriend... but anyway so after I turn him down he has the nerve to ask my friend and she's a lesbian so she's like "sorry I have girlfriend." and the face he made was hilarious and then he turns to our other friend and she's just like "no". His feelings looked so hurt


Also I'm eating Ben & Jerry's Cheesecake Icecream with Cheesecake Brownie Chunks. Best ice cream I've ever had!

I went into my room (messy, abandoned, enormous pile of stuffed animals on the bed) to look for a book and found two dog collars. One's an old collar of a dog we have now, the other is the first collar my late dog wore. <3 I also found a High School Musical game which equals MONEEEY. Probably not much, but I don't want it.

I also FOUND THE BOOK I WAS LOOKING FOR. Not in my room, but online. For months I've been trying to find and remember it. All I knew was that it had 15 volumes, two of the titles, and that they were small, thin, black books. The five or six volumes I had/have have magically disappeared off the earth, which really confuses me because they're good books. But I looked up "wicca" on wikipedia and, lo and behold, THERE THEY WERE. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweep_(book_series) Fiiiiinaaaally.

Oxford. And the fact that my Dad said he will pay for university for me, but only if I get into Oxford University. Bit of pressure but how many people can say they have studied there? Plus it is an amazing city.

The above still made my day, but I went back into my room and found a baby blanket, some books, and a couple of movies. I had to stop looking because I can't bring anything else into the room I'm sleeping in.. it's not mine XD. Oh, and I also found my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It's broken. Ah well, my dad can fix it :D.

My dad gave me chocolate in exchange for my crapload of jellybeans I got today. I hate jellybeans, so yay! (Well, I don't hate them, I just suck on my candy until it's gone and jellybeans don't do that.)

Spent nearly an hour tonight making music with my dad.

I can count to six in Italian.. and seventh.. just not seven. I'm not sure why I find this so cool.

My brother is teaching me to play the saxophone! I can already play Mary Had a Little Lamb. Kind of. :3

Returning home from Melbourne to find that I've been invited to an 18th next weekend. I've only really talked to the host once or twice, and I suspect I'm being invited as a favour to his friend, but it's still very nice to be invited. The only problem is I'm going to an all-day music festival the next day and I don't want to be completely knackered for that.

Oh, and cuddling my cat for the first time in a few days was nice, too :3

Earlier today I saw this girl who I swore was one of my friends, and so I yelled "HEY BITCH!" and she took her shades off and gave me this "wtf" look Turns out it wasn't her. Embarrassing much? -__-

I had a reeeally crappy morning. I couldn't get comfortable in any way, there were shittons of planes going over and I had a bad freak-out. My dad took me down to the airport to watch planes take off because they were bugging me, and we stayed for like four hours. It was surprisingly fun, and it wasn't hot at all.

My dad also ordered the new video card for my sims computer :D.

Watching videos from the concert I went to on Friday night. Nowhere near as good as the actual thing, but. Good cheering up stuff. :D

Seeing an adorable photo of my sister slow-dancing with her German 'friend' Tom This Germany trip and all the people she met has really made my sister so happy.

First, the news about Bin Laden (actually, I heard about it right when the news came out last night, but it carried out into today). I know there is a lot of talk going around now with different points of view, but I'm insanely happy. You're free to have your point of view, and I'm free to have mine. I felt so proud last night. For the record, I'm not proud or celebratory over the death of somebody -- I'm proud over the fact that a terrorist, who plotted the deaths of thousands and thousands of people, has been brought to justice. *steps off soapbox*

Second, I was able to consume not one, but two carbonated drinks today without any ill effects (after a surgery I had last week). Yippee

I mean the shirt didn't COMPLETELY cover my shorts, you could clearly see I was wearing shorts if you looked, I think everyone was just messing with me.

The guy I'm crushing on is paying me quite a lot of attention lately, even walking me to classes and to my locker. i love it cause i really fancy him and he's such a gentleman. He even noticed a new ring on my finger and jokingly said "Just pretend I gave that to you, we can be engaged or something!" and called me his fiancé for the rest of the day. funny and charming. gosh. I'm falling hard.

My mum just got offered a two month position in Bangkok. She had a three month job there at the end of last year, and I know how much she loves traveling for her work, so I'm really happy for her.

I just spent half of my pay cheque on dresses from Dorothy Perkins. Oops.

Finally finished reading Othello.

Continuing on from my post about my mum's position in Bangkok, she said that I could probably come over during my winter holidays to see her and get a formal dress custom made. I'm thinking Emma Watson at the London premiere of Deathly Hallows part one :3

My cousin (who joined the navy) showed up at my house this morning! It was so great seeing him and it absolutely made my day.

For the first time in a week:
-I woke up and the sun was shining and it wasn't raining.
-I went outside.
-I got to drive my car.

And aside from those little victories...
-Today was the first day of the year that I saw people mowing their lawns. Fresh cut grass smells awesome.
-I bought a new DVD player since I think mine kicked the bucket for the last time (never buy Emerson dvd players - they like to randomly die and come back to life a few weeks/months later [same with their remote controls])
-I think there was something else but I can't remember anymore...
