One of the first graders in the class that I tutor asked me to marry him .
My uncle and cousin came over to visit us and hangout, I made pizza and we all had dinner and me, my sisters and cousin ran around the place like lunatics and played.
I am so tired but it's so worth it. |
Meant to post this yesterday but the site was broken.
My mom told me that while our dog was at the vet overnight for her surgery, she was so starved for human contact that she jumped at the person who opened her crate to let her out XD. I had to give the poor dog lots of kisses after that. It's a very strange thought because this particular dog is quite grumpy and protective of my mom, but she's really sweet once she knows the person isn't going to hurt her family. |
I should play Sims more often, helps relieve a little stress ^__^
THIS oh god THIS.
^ Eh, the lyrics are stupid so I can't enjoy it. Lol.
^Oh my gosh, my godson is so beautiful :3 He is purrrrrfect
Perusing new kitchens today, we saw a cupboard with 'Open Me' on it (very 'Alice in Wonderland'):
My mother: Let's open it! Me: I already did, it's a dishwasher. My mother: Ooo, I've never seen inside a dishwasher before! |
GTM GTM GTM GTM GTM!
This is the only good music festival to come to Canberra, and I'm so excited to see The Drums, The Wombats, Cut Copy, The Go! Team, House of Pain, The Jezabels, Darwin Deez, Art vs Science and Architecture in Helsinki live :3 |
Prom is exactly one week from today! As Rebecca Black would say, "WE SO EXCITED!"
Also my mom and I have a personal trainer, I'm trying to get abs. Not dramatic abs though, ew I'll save that for the women bodybuilders. |
Made progress with Wheatley. He let me hand him a treat (he usually hisses when we come within 50 cm of him) and was purring at me. Still won't let me touch him though.
EDIT: After an hour or so of playing with him, he finally let me pet him and pick him up. He was purring and being lovely... & then he went into my bedroom and did a poo on my carpet :/ |
LoL at "Girly Girl Society"
alfdjaskdlfmdslfjasdf THE DRUMS ARE PERFECT. Oh my gosh, we got to be in the front row for their set and it was so incredible and I made eye contact with the singer so many times and my life is complete.
AH! My bestfriend's 14th birthday is like a "metal" party, heaps of moshing and insane music! Im so keen! and I get to see my boys that i rarely see, cause they go to different schools, and they're all amazing!
I just dont want to get hurt in the mosh pit, or wall of death! (search lamb of god wall of death on youtube... you'll see what i mean) |
A nice girls' brunch with my mom's side of the family, 60ºF sunny day, fresh cut grass and foamy iced tea.
Happy Mother's Day to all Da Girls' mothers... and to all Da Girls who happen to be mothers!
Oh, and my mom got Harry Potter 7 P1 for Mother's Day. SQUEEEE. |
Being able to take these photos made my life: |
I finished Portal 2! :D
Babysitting Joni and Connor tonight. Oh boy, these boys never fail to entertain
I was so tired when I got home from work tonight that when my computer asked for my password, I attempted to "clock in."
Bought a new house, it's perfect.
I recieved my MAC foundation I got from Ebay (2 for 15$!!) and it came with a free MAC eyeliner & Wheatley is making great progress :3
Dollyrot; whoa that's really good value!
-Already starting to pack for the new house, I'm just so excited. |
Knowing that in just 10 hours I'll be home from work, I'll get a night at home and I get the day off tomorrow. I've practically been living at work! And it's suppose to be nice out tonight/tomorrow so I can actually go out and do something.
Ah, the little things. |
Hearing my friend convince our far too gullible housemate that Zeus, king of the gods, was a dwarf:
"Yeah, see he was really powerful and all seeing, but he was actually really a dwarf. Disney just made him look big because they thought more people would want him that way. We know he was a dwarf from all the inscriptions...the word dwarf actually comes from the Greek...and there are statues of him that are quite small...they just take photos of them from an odd angle to make them look bigger." Brightened up studying. |
My boyfriend and I went to this fancy mall that I hadn't been to in about ten years and he had never been to, and there was a Sanrio boutique inside (I love Hello Kitty!) so my boyfriend bought me some HK stuff. x) Plus, my favorite singing group released their new song/MV today.
I made a new friend today!
Wheatley slept in my room all night... albeit on my CK dress.
I won a scholarship from my elementary school! Now I have to read my winning essay to every student and teacher in the school at an assembly, but it'll be worth it.
Saw West Side Story at the local professional company. Wow, what a fantastic production. I'm gonna have "Mambo" stuck in my head all night. :D
95% on an English in-class essay :3 I'm really, really proud of how well I'm doing in English this year. So far, every assessment item I've completed has gotten a score of 90% or higher, and as a result, I'm dragging the whole year up for my efforts.
I beat my 5k race personal record! I've come a long, long way from being the couch potato I used to be, and I'm absolutely stoked about it. This time last year, the whole concept of 'running' would have been completely foreign to me, but now I'm fast and strong and have stamina and it feels awesome.
Drawing portraits in art today, I managed a realistic-ish face for once.
A text from my mother: 'A man has just delivered 12 bottles of cherry lucozade...is this anything to do with you?'
Being invited to another 18th in two weeks. Ah, the joys of all your friends being at least one year older than you!
I ate out tonight with friends to celebrate the end of exams and I am so full right now. Mediterranean food sure does have a lot of salt in it though!
Finally fixed my sims 2 game!!! There was one corrupt (PAY!) item in it and I found it amongst 16,000 odd items. Aaaaand I fixed my inteenimater so I don't have to get rid of it. Whooooooo
Finished all this weekend's homework by 9:30am, and have just been playing TS3 all day. :3
^ But Sophie this is how teenage life is meant to beeeeeeeeeeee!
Finally found an outfit that looks great with one of my favourite jackets! Such a pretty jacket, but it barely goes with anything because of it shape. |
^Oh gosh that was actually so embarrassing! I should never be allowed near a computer after a party >.< I woke up this morning, checked the thread and just died a little bit on the inside.
All that aside, hhhhh, last night was fantastic! I had the best time and I'm so glad it turned out the way it did :3 |
"FOREADOHH??"
"Forealdoh?" "Foredildo?" "Dildo?" My dad just texted this to me.... wtf -__- edit: Why is everyone's avatars screwing up? They keep turning into giant "Image Not Available" messages |
Got myself a very nice dress today :D
Been texting back and forth with this guy for about an hour now. He's flirtatious and calls me beautiful, etc. and it catches me off guard because I'm so not used to it. But he seems very nice.
First day of work was good :D
and got the okay off mum for getting my nose pierced. |
What is making my day so far is that I'm getting a lot better, in my opinion, at singing this Italian song.
Now if only I was a better singer... |
I have successfully installed and played The Sims Complete collection for over 4 hours straight. Oh how I missed TS1!
Didn't go to prom, but I'm having a great time in Hawaii with my mother and step-dad. Hawaii seems extra happier than usual, two more days. I'm not ready to go home, I want this to be my home <3
Emily's suggestions of what to wear to a Hipster-themed party as well as an All Stars themed party. Ho ho ho so funny!
I can offer my services as a master costume-comer-upper-erer for a small fee.
As I mentioned a couple of posts before, I re-installed TS1 except, I installed all of them, I saw a couple of interesting things today:
- a bear (called Claire Bear, nice going Maxis) showed up, tip toeing to my honey making stand, opens up a drawer and the bees chase her away. - I saw Mrs. Crumplebottom. - I saw El Bandito. - My sim successfully (read: casted a spell) made a friend with a superstar. - I bought her a cat called Buggy. The minute it arrived home it went and peed in the bedroom...maybe I should have called him Wheatley ;P No wonder I grew up playing only Sims. |
Do you ever catch a glimpse of yourself in a mirror as you pass by and think, "Damn, I'm pretty"? Conceited as it may be, this always makes my day.
A horrible morning and general feeling like shit can be brightened up by an egg sandwich and a German song. Who knew?
Came across Matthew McGinn and I have to say I'm getting hooked, especially to Madeline.

That song is gorgeous, thanks for sharing. <3 The pictures from last night made my day, and I think last night pretty much made my week. |

Phew, I was so worried you might yell at me or something, glad I made your day, actually it just made my day. |

Thanks for sharing! These songs sound amazing |
A gorgeous text from Emily ♥
Also, the quality of some work in my writing class is absolutely laughable. I feel horrid for saying so, but it's just terrible! Example:
Quote:
I'm struggling to understand how people like this have survived in my class, my teacher being as ruthless as he is with his editing. |
Back home in the ever so beautiful California <3
Heellllppp Me I'm Stuccccccccck Inside Sophieesss Computer :3
ALSO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKqE...e=youtube_gdata |
^hehehehe we are qt3.14s! Essentially, that made my day, too. As well as Emily's lovely text this morning (:
"Your amazing and very very beautiful i love and miss you so much ps. Your sexy"
an inbox from a good friend, i havent seen in about a month, gosh he makes my day |
The fact that my biology exams are over! For this year. Possibly going for a-level though...
I just got my internet working again. Yay! So, officially, I'm back!
My boyfriend had to work late so I surprised him outside his office and took him out to dinner :3
^I'm assuming it was something other than garlic bread and chips?
What made my day is the fact that it's finally Friday. Even though I have to spend the whole weekend working on assignments, at least I can sleep in! |
I finally get Trigonometry!
Now to tackle calculus. Gah. |
It's Friday, Friday, Gotta get down on Friday, Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend, weekend!
I spent the day cleaning up part of the downtown area with some other volunteers, and it was so much fun. The experience totally solidified my hope that I'll be able to get a summer job doing exactly the same thing this year-- I have an interview on Thursday, so fingers crossed!
Name change. My dad and step-mom are naming my baby brother "Madison Chandler", looove it! My bestfriend said Madison was a girls name, which is funny because the meaning of Madison is "son of Matthew"
Scratch the cat picture. My dad and I were cleaning his room to get to something my mom needed, and you know what we found? BOOKS! The nine books I've been looking for for MONTHS. One is our non-broken copy of Harry Potter 7, four are one series and the other four are another series! Yaaay. Now the world had better not end because I want to freaking read these things!
So, the world's apparently going to end tomorrow (starting at 2AM my time) so during lunch today me and my friends were speculating what would happen, and decided on a zombie apocalypse. So we spent the whole lunch deciding which zombies we wanted and came to the decision of the old zombie movie zombies that move at .5 mph and not the zombies from 28 Days Later or Zombieland that totally book it when chasing you. Apparently there are zombies from some movie in the 60s/70s that can't see you if you're behind a fence.
Also, if the world ends, I think I might kill someone. See you at 2AM New Zealand/eastern-tip-of-Russia! |
Still alive! What gives? haha
I think this song is appropriate for us today!
There's nothing quite like driving down the interstate into the sunset and singing your heart out with the windows down.
How are our Australian girls doing? I guess we should wait until the end of the end of the day over here in California to say for sure, but.. looks like we're good!
We're all good, here! No issues that I've heard of, other than my state's football team failing miserably . Then again, that's nothing new.
Still alive. Nothing bad. The rapture was false (who could've guessed?)
Well, the fact that we're still alive has made my weekend in a trivial way because... I won't miss the The Event season finale!
...And, you know, we get to live another day. |
Now I have the lyrics from "Staying Alive" stuck in my head!
Staying aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive! |
Somebody slap that bitch Harold Camping! Why the hell did he think the world would end today anyway?
Harold Camping is just a stupid asshole who wants to cause a stir and get a little more fame. Funny thing is, he booked a trip to Bermuda for the 28th.
I hate him. The asshole. |
It's been 6 pm here, in Moldavia, and I'm still alive. In Tokyo and Christmas Islands, it's 22 May already. Bullshit. People are committing suicide just to die quicker. People who predict such things are just egocentric morons, who don't realize that human beings are really, really paranoid and stupid sometimes. Stupid enough to kill themselves for such a retarded thing.

It's 6:02 here. Still alive.
Aah, aah, aah, aah, STAYING ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!! |
It is 10:16AM Sunday the 22nd of May, 2011 here and we are still alive! :P
Just a quick reminder: The whole concept behind the Judgement Day which Harold Camping predicted says that those who aren't good Christians won't die immediately. Instead, we'll exist for another five months. That time will be filled with earthquakes, tsunamis, and all other natural disasters possible, but you don't die immediately. All the good Christians will rise up to Heaven immediately, however, and I haven't heard of any floating people yet. Then again, maybe it's a test of some sort! Saying that no one is truly a good enough Christian to rise to Heaven. Camping predicted this Judgement Day through a series of mathematical equations, similar to how he predicted the world would end in September of 1994, but I suppose he just got his numbers wrong.
Honestly, if people are actually going to believe that the Rapture can be predicted through maths, then they're idiots and should never breed. Camping most likely did this for a publicity stunt, and honestly, a lot of people do similar things. Only they aren't taken as seriously because they're bimbos or just very clearly fishing for publicity. |
I survived doomsday!
W00t. |
Convo with 4 year old cousin:
"Are you going to have a boyfriend when you get older?" 4yo: "Yeah! You know if you marry someone in your family you get three heads?" "Three heads?!" 4yo: "Yeah. And I'm gonna marry a younger guy." |
I'm going to an 18th on Saturday night (the theme is All Stars) and the guy I may or may not be ridiculously attracted to is going as James Dean. I think my ovaries just exploded.
Finished cleaning my room. I love it when it's neat. Should keep it that way more often. :3
Just dropping by to let you know that they have internet in Heaven. Yo, Jesus, bring me some Coke, please!
Got my "250 headshots" trophy for Uncharted 2. It's getting harder and harder to deny it when people call me a "gamer chick". :P
Also, spent the entire day lounging around in my yoga pants and watching TV. The whole "being sick" angle isn't great, but at least my mom's in a better mood. |
A text from my brother: When shall ye be hometh, fair maiden?
The Event's season finale. Stop reading now if you watch the series and haven't seen the end yet.
THEY BROUGHT THE PLANET?!!1 That is all. EDIT: What also made my day is that I think I'm getting better at rolling my r's. It's actually fun.. but a stutter doesn't help. Plus I'm still not sure how much I'm actually supposed to roll them, but oh well. |
My English teacher is the greatest. We got to fingerpaint for the whole double period :-) Year 12 is just that demanding.
