candiiee 7th Oct 2009 6:33 PM

Yep, but I like little spiders sometimes.

I like people with weird names, and I'm not entirely sure why.

Beata125 7th Oct 2009 6:38 PM

I know why. Cairo.
I dont mind weird names.

I always put as little butter on my sandwich as possible, but I love 1cm layer of butter on a cooked potato

candiiee 7th Oct 2009 6:43 PM

Yup. And yep, cos of Cairo. Well, kinda. Not just him.

All my friends think I have a dodgy taste in boys, but I think it's quite normal.

Beata125 7th Oct 2009 7:00 PM

nope not really not as far as i know.

I can get irritated easily when in a bad mood.

candiiee 7th Oct 2009 7:04 PM

Yep.

If I accidently hurt someone I run away rather than staying behind to help. Or I just blame someone else.

Beata125 7th Oct 2009 7:20 PM

nope.

I always cringe in front of a teacher if I did something impolite in the past 2 weeks.

Rabid 7th Oct 2009 10:50 PM

I don't behave impolitely in class (I'm there to learn, not to goof off), but if I provide a silly answer or ask an obvious question, I never forget it. The teacher and my classmates in all likelihood forget by the next class, but I never do- I could read all of those embarrassing moments back to you since I started school.

I have an extraodinary talent of being able to drive in four-inch heels. A lot of girls I know need to drive in flats, but heels don't bother me in the least when I'm driving- they're actually more comfortable because I have very high-arched feet.

kustirider2 7th Oct 2009 11:29 PM

I can't drive

I have an obsession with even numbers and putting things straight, for example; If I am playing a computer game that involves "ammo" I will always shoot it down so that the amount of ammo ends in a 5 or 0. I also put pens and pencils in size and colour order.

zauberlinda12 8th Oct 2009 3:42 AM

Nope. Can't say I'm that obsessive

I have to, have to drink a glass of ice cold skim milk when I eat pizza.

Beata125 8th Oct 2009 11:50 AM

.............no...........

If I like a song and dont listen to it again and again until I get sick of it, I can have it stuck in mah head in (lol) random moments

zauberlinda12 9th Oct 2009 1:50 AM

I have a thing for moon, star and sun shapes. I am happiest when I have one of them to look at in each room or in my office at work.

Beata125 9th Oct 2009 2:56 PM

nope.........

Whenever the moon is out at night I sit and stare at it for a few hours before I go to sleep in it's light.

candiiee 9th Oct 2009 2:59 PM

Sometimes, not always.

I can read while walking without crashing into anything. It's weird, but funny to watch, apparently.

Beata125 9th Oct 2009 3:24 PM

Yep. I once walked all the way home from school (about 10 mins to get back) reading, without looking up.

I do the same with texting^

Rabid 10th Oct 2009 9:09 PM

I can read without looking up, but I can hardly text when I'm sitting down and stationary, let alone when I'm walking.

I've never had a problem with "sitting like a lady." I always sit with my legs crossed or my ankles crossed and tucked to the side, even when I'm not dressed like a lady- I was raised to sit that way and now it's an autonomous force of habit.

supaclova 10th Oct 2009 9:14 PM

No.

I hate it when people have lights on before 6:00 pm. I always run around the house shutting them off.

Rabid 10th Oct 2009 9:16 PM

I'm the same way. I like to let natural light illuminate the house for as long as possible.

I hate online shopping, whether it be for clothes, books, appliances, etc. I know that the Internet has some great deals, but I need to hold the thing in my hands and see it with my own eyes to make a decision.

supaclova 10th Oct 2009 9:18 PM

I don't think so...I've never really tried shopping online, though.

I used to have this weird habit where I would say, "Cough cough" every time I coughed.

lethifold 11th Oct 2009 3:05 AM

No, I don't do that. When I was younger, during awkward silences I would always force a cough though -.-'

I hate having my hands in my pockets. Even if my hands are absolutely frozen, I won't put my hands in my pockets.

meggie272 11th Oct 2009 4:35 AM

No, my hands are usually in my pockets.

I always cross my legs. It's a really bad habit

Rabid 11th Oct 2009 7:27 PM

I wouldn't call it a bad habit, but I always sit with crossed legs in public. I like to tuck them beneath me at home.

I don't know what it is, but I always find myself hungrier than usual on Sundays. The odd part is that Sunday is the day of the week when I do nothing but play TS3 and do wall-to-wall homework :P.

minus. 11th Oct 2009 7:30 PM

Entirely true.

When two people I know get together, I can't help but wonder if the girl's name would sound right if she took up the boy's last name.

meggie272 19th Oct 2009 12:31 PM

Sometimes. Sometimes I tease my friends about their bf/gf and what would happen if they got each other's last names. Sometimes they hit me.

I often stand with one knee a little bent putting most of my weight on the other leg.

Beata125 19th Oct 2009 7:58 PM

Always.

If someone leaves a hairbrush/cream/hair moose standing/lying on the sink's side, I must always put it back otherwise it annoys me/falls off the side.

crazycentralgurl 3rd Nov 2009 4:55 AM

Nope, I have a bunch of junk on my counter and I'm not even a little worried about it.

All my books, movies, cds, etc. have to be in abc order, or I will freak, and then usually go on a cleaning spree.

danirawr_SC 3rd Nov 2009 5:50 AM

No, I usually have mine in order of what I listen to/watch most. I do have to have all CDs by the same artist and TV series grouped together though, in order of their release dates.

I have a slightly OCD tendency towards multiples of five. If I make a set of icons, for example, I can't make 3, or 8. It feels wrong otherwise. I can't do even numbers, or odd numbers. It has to be multiples of five.

PharaohHound 3rd Nov 2009 1:06 PM

Nope. Numbers aren't my thing *is bad at math*

I'm the only "morning person" teenager I know. I typically wake up at around eight AM (including weekends), then enjoy watching my brother struggle to function at ten AM 'cause he has to be somewhere. Yes, I'm cruel like that.

minus. 3rd Nov 2009 4:47 PM

Ehh, no. I'm a zombie in the mornings.

My pain tolerance is very high, but my wounds heal slowly.

Beata125 4th Nov 2009 7:40 PM

Same.

I can smell blood. Everyone says they cant, but I can. It smells of rust and salt, and burns my nose if I take a whiff.

supaclova 4th Nov 2009 7:53 PM

You are not Bella! Stop trying to be!

No, but the sight of it makes me sick. Which is hilarious, since I'm obsessed with vampires.

I always correct people's spelling mistakes. No matter how minor. Even teachers. I'll raise my hand and tell them they spelled something wrong.

Beata125 4th Nov 2009 8:01 PM

I'm not trying to be! I realised that I can smell it when I had my first cut. Which was when I was very, very little. It was....ew.

Yeah, Im obsessed with vamps too.

And to answer your quirk, yes, I usually do.

crazycentralgurl 4th Nov 2009 11:48 PM

?

I like to make myself bleed, because I LOVE the taste of blood.
And sometimes I like crave it like food, like I want it now.
Haha, I'm not a freak.

crazycentralgurl 4th Nov 2009 11:51 PM

And I can smell blood too, I thought everyone could?..

lethifold 5th Nov 2009 6:04 AM

No, I don't make myself bleed because I abhor pain of any kind. I thought everyone could smell blood as well...

I have the same routine everyday when I get home from school, and no matter what, it will never differ. Always get home, turn off the alarm, turn on the computer, go to the bathroom, get food, then go on the computer.

meggie272 5th Nov 2009 7:01 AM

Sort of, yes.

I always have to take layered biscuits apart- eat the top bit then the cream then the bottom bit

PharaohHound 12th Nov 2009 12:13 AM

Sometimes.

I find simple things like taking out the compost or cleaning the bathroom absolute disgusting, but I have no problem with dead animals. I'm generally getting closer, actually!

Phoeberg 12th Nov 2009 1:00 AM

Quote: Originally posted by crazycentralgurl

I thought that too! I don't find the smell especially repulsive though, it just smells metallic.

I don't find cleaning the bathroom disgusting, but I think I would have a problem with the dead body of a larger animal. I don't even like dead birds actually (or even bumblebees!), it makes me really sad .

I HAVE to make my bed in the morning. I hate it when things aren't nice and straight in general, like books on a shelf or desk, food in cupboards etc. I just have to neaten out that bed before I can do anything.

Beata125 12th Nov 2009 8:58 PM

I would probably faint if I sucked MY blood.

Nope, Im exactly the opposite-I forgot the colour of my carpet (because everything seems to be on there)

My favourite make up thing is eyeliner, but I cant stand any colour ones-only black.

Phoeberg 12th Nov 2009 9:01 PM

I usually wear black eyeliner on an everyday basis, but I do own colored ones; purple, bright blue, bright green. I particularly like the blue, it's a sort of turquoise.

If I get a song stuck in my head, then I have to listen to it, and usually I have to listen to it before I can get it out of my head.

Rabid 12th Nov 2009 9:16 PM

Not really. By concentrating on homework or reading a book, I can get it out of my head quite easily.

I don't mix up my make-up all that much, and on the rare events that I change colors, I tend to buy from the same brands: L'Oreal and Rimmel.

Beata125 12th Nov 2009 9:20 PM

Yep!

..hmm...that was what i was about to say! So.....quirk..(taps head like winnie the pooh ) If I start going up a staircase, and the first foot I start with (lets say its the right one) I have to start with the right one when I get ton the next set of stairs.

minus. 12th Nov 2009 9:27 PM

Not really. There are so many staircases in my school that I can't even pay attention to that

I always have to pack my stuff for the next day in the evening, I never leave it for the morning. I sometimes wake up after midnight to do it if I forget.

DollyRot 13th Nov 2009 12:07 AM

Nope. I'm really last minute usually, especially when I'm travelling. I can never decide what to bring so I come up with heaps and heaps of outfit possibilties and shove them in my suitcase at 6 in the morning before we leave.

I leave bobbypins all over the house and then can never find them.

Phoeberg 13th Nov 2009 12:11 AM

No, but my housemate does that, they're everywhere!

If I have a large bar of chocolate, if I start eating a row I have to finish that row before I put the bar away, otherwise the wrapper doesn't fold down right.

DollyRot 13th Nov 2009 12:16 AM

Nope. I just rip chocolate off in Random chunks. (If i'm actually lucky enough to get any )

I don't like feet. I don't like people touching my feet in particular. I think my feet are ugly.
: D

Phoeberg 13th Nov 2009 1:04 AM

Kind of, I think a lot of feet are ugly but you do see some okay ones. I wouldn't like someone touching my feet but mainly because I'm really ticklish and I would end up screaming with laughter. Ankles though, I find them so weird (and actually quite repulsive in some people's cases). My aunt's ankles are the worst, they're really thin and so pale...they creep me out no end. I can't look at most people's ankles, how can something so flimsy be holding us all up?!

If I turn around for any reason, I have to turn back the other way or I feel wrong. It's like I have to undo my original turn.

supaclova 13th Nov 2009 1:09 AM

No.

When I'm eating, I have to chew equally on both sides of my mouth, otherwise my teeth feel funny, like one side is empty or something
It's really kind of hard to explain.

Dreamydre 13th Nov 2009 1:50 AM

Nope, I just maul the food down and don't care which side its on.

I have an extreme disliking of haters, especially the one's who are jealous and try to put people down because of their own insecurity.

supaclova 13th Nov 2009 2:15 AM

Yes! Just like I hate hypocrites and people who think they're right and won't consider anything else. I can't stand it and I just wanna punch people sometimes!

When I'm logged in to MySpace, Facebook, even MTS, I'm constantly refreshing the page, because I think something new must have happened in the last 30 seconds.

Beata125 13th Nov 2009 6:36 PM

sometimes.

I always have to chew food equally on both sides of my mouth, because if i dont the less used side feels funny.

DollyRot 13th Nov 2009 11:40 PM

Nope. I don't really think that much when I eat..

When I go to bed I usually put my phone and my ipod under my pillow because I wake up early and like to check the time and listen to music.

Phoeberg 14th Nov 2009 12:04 AM

No, on my bedside table/bookshelf so they're within easy reach.

I can't sleep with a mirror in the room.

DollyRot 14th Nov 2009 12:09 AM

Nope. I have a mirror in my room but it's covered by clothes so It makes no difference really lulz.

I'm australian and I hate the beach, especially sand. I'm pretty much anti-every australian stereotype.

supaclova 14th Nov 2009 12:36 AM

Nah. I've never really been to a beach though, so it's hard to say.

If I walk into a room with a mirror, I try really hard not to look at it, because it freaks me out. Unless I need to use it, then I can look at it. But mirrors really freak me out.

lethifold 14th Nov 2009 12:38 AM

No, I always glance in the mirror when I pass them. Vanity, thy name is Sophie .

Whenever I get an essay I have to write, I start it the day I get it, but only to write the first line.

supaclova 14th Nov 2009 12:44 AM

Yes! I write the first line, get stuck, and don't finish until it's almost too late.

Most people think of hoodies as comfortable, but they are more uncomfortable than the tightest, shortest dress to me! Especially zip-up ones. I don't know what it is, they just don't feel right, and really annoy me!

candiiee 18th Nov 2009 6:56 PM

Nah, I live in hoodies.

My hair is -never- dead straight. It always goes slightly curly or possibly frizzy, even if I spend an hour straightening it.

Beata125 18th Nov 2009 6:57 PM

Yep.

Hmm....I was about to put that!
*thinks* I eat inedible things. Example, pens, pencils.

candiiee 18th Nov 2009 7:01 PM

I bite or chew them, I don't often eat them. I eat my nails, though.

I hate silences. I have to have music on or be talking to someone all the time, and even at night I have to have the window open so I can hear the cars going past and stuff.

DollyRot 19th Nov 2009 2:29 PM

No. I like silence sometimes.

I'm signed on to msn 24/7 (My computer is always left on), but I rarely talk to people on it.

jewaukeela 10th Apr 2010 5:29 AM

Me too!

I prefer old-fashioned shows with outdated saying and effects (*cough* StarTrek *cough*) over modern shows, generally. Exception: FlashForward.

DigitalSympathies 10th Apr 2010 6:12 AM

Yes, with the exception of the news, haha.

I hate it when people are signed in on MSN but they don't reply to you.

Ebonova 10th Apr 2010 7:20 AM

Ugh! Who doesn't?

I hate it when people talk about you and act like you're not there. Also when parents assume stuff, like, oh! She's grumpy! She must be hungry!

candiiee 10th Apr 2010 11:13 AM

Yep, it really annoys me.

I flip through songs on my iPod super-fast until I find the one I want to listen to, and then probably halfway through that song I'll switch to the next one, so I hardly ever play a song all the way through.

PharaohHound 10th Apr 2010 1:49 PM

Nah, I always try to listen to a song the whole way through.

Once I start listening to a song I feel "committed" to listen to the whole thing, and it's really jarring if I skip halfway through.

Wartooth 10th Apr 2010 4:06 PM

Nope, I'll just change it if I tire of it.

If I look at something and it's cheap and remotely attractive, I'll buy it, whether or not I can use it or wear it.

DollyRot 10th Apr 2010 4:09 PM

SO truuuue <3

I severly dislike people who take drugs

PharaohHound 10th Apr 2010 4:08 PM

That's a quirk? Hell yeah, it's gross.

I tend to pretend not to hear people talking to me. I don't know why...

HEAVEN-SENT 10th Apr 2010 4:25 PM

yeah i do that all the time

i have to put my sweets in there colours then eat them in the order of how many sweets there are in each colour

Wartooth 10th Apr 2010 4:27 PM

No... I just kind of, uh, eat them.

I have to be told repeatedly not to do something (ie. 'turn off the lights') and I still do it anyway.

DollyRot 10th Apr 2010 4:35 PM

Quote: Originally posted by PharaohHound

It's unusual in my deadbeat town.

^ I do that!

I prefer chilled tap water over tap water from the filter

Wartooth 10th Apr 2010 6:03 PM

No, I don't care as long as it's filtered tap water.

when I'm listening to music, I can't stop moving my finger or my foot, I have to keep the beat. (or in my case, headbang)

DigitalSympathies 10th Apr 2010 6:45 PM

Yes, haha! My leg!

When I eat cereal, I always leave the milk in the bowl and put it to the side and come back later to put it in the sink.

Rabid 10th Apr 2010 8:14 PM

I don't eat cereal.

Seeing people who wear open-toed shoes with unpainted toenails disgusts me. If I were in charge of the world, it would be a law that all open-toed shoes must be accompanied by painted toenails. My hands and feet never go unpainted.

Wartooth 10th Apr 2010 8:40 PM

No... I don't really care, and where I live no one wears open-toed shoes, except for in the summer. Weather just doesn't suit for it.

Seeing people who wear large, tacky, fake-designer sunglasses for no reason (it's not sunny) irks me.

PharaohHound 10th Apr 2010 10:06 PM

Not sure it actually irks me, but I think it's kinda stupid.

I have at least five passwords for my various accounts on websites, and I choose which to use depending on how secure I want my account to be (e.g. my photobucket account which I never use has my least secure password, and my paid Flickr account has my most secure password.) And I can remember them all.

Raindrops757 10th Apr 2010 11:27 PM

You must have a really good memory I don't do that because I'm kind of forgetful, so I would just sit there like...o.o "Oh no! I've forgotten which one!"

When I'm cooking in the kitchen, I don't like too many other people in there with me, or else I get really flustered and start being klutzy.

Wartooth 11th Apr 2010 1:03 AM

Nope, I don't do the "cooking" unless it's the "instant noodles style cooking".

When I look at an avatar, I instantly think that's what the person looks like (if it's of a person) or it's like their favorite favorite favorite thing ever.

xhyleh 11th Apr 2010 3:44 AM

Same here.

I hate locking eyes with people, because whenever I do, I start a staring contest with them, which I always lose.

supaclova 11th Apr 2010 3:43 AM

Nope. I hate locking eyes with people only because it's awkward.

When I can't convince someone that I'm right, I get so angry and frustrated that I just wanna scream.

Wartooth 11th Apr 2010 5:21 AM

OMG. Yes.

When I feel happy, I feel tempted to tell people, "Guess what? I'm HAPPY!"

Ebonova 11th Apr 2010 6:33 AM

Not really. But I tell people to 'not mind me, I'm just being odd' a lot :D

Admitting that something I did was wrong. Hate it.

PharaohHound 11th Apr 2010 2:46 PM

It depends. Most of the time I'm fine with it, but if it's a point of contention between my brother and me I really hate it.

I can remember the names of most of the bones of the skull, but I can never remember what to call the humerus. I always want to call it the ulna, for some weird reason.

Wartooth 11th Apr 2010 4:01 PM

No... skeletons freak me out for some odd reason so I tend to avoid them. Especially those open, void, blacker than the blackest black eye sockets where eyeballs once were... staring... at me... I took classes for human body a while ago, like three years ago, and can't remember anything now.

When I'm on vacation, I lose track of what day of the week it is, and it all kind of mushes up into "my vacation".

minus. 11th Apr 2010 4:02 PM

Absolutely.

When I'm writing something, an e-mail for example, I tend to stare at the blank screen for like half an hour, but after I manage to crank out the first sentence, the rest goes smoothly.

candiiee 11th Apr 2010 4:59 PM

Sometimes, depends on the email.

I bite my nails a lot without even thinking about it, and I've never been able to stop. Don't know why.

Ebonova 11th Apr 2010 5:22 PM

No, I don't bite my nails.

I have the best ideas but end up forgetting them

Wartooth 11th Apr 2010 5:30 PM

You changed your avvie! Good job! :D

Yes, I do.

I always remember quotes from movies I've watched if they were really good.

Ebonova 11th Apr 2010 5:30 PM

Er... not sure if that's really a quirk, but yeah! Photographic (or tape recorder, whatever) memory here!

People who try to whistle but end up making a whooshy noise. It annoys me SO much when they try to whistle all the time. Same goes with people who whistle EVERYTHING they hear.

HEAVEN-SENT 11th Apr 2010 5:31 PM

no

i can listen to a song once and know all the lyrics and who its by and where it places in the charts and when it was realesed

jewaukeela 12th Apr 2010 3:43 AM

Not at all, that's so cool!

I hate it when people switch songs in the middle and if I start a song and it goes more than a few seconds I have to listen all the way through or turn off the music and wait a few minutes, I can't just switch.

supaclova 12th Apr 2010 3:47 AM

Nope.

I can't just let songs switch by themselves. When a song reaches the end, I pause it, find a new song, then unpause.

jewaukeela 12th Apr 2010 3:51 AM

Not really, I actually prefer to just let it play, but I usually play on shuffle so it switches for me.

I usually play on shuffle so it switches for me.

HEAVEN-SENT 12th Apr 2010 10:27 AM

yeah (but them i end up switches songs anyway)

if i am in a weird mood i listen to only one artist, all the time that i am in the weird mood

PharaohHound 12th Apr 2010 1:33 PM

No, I listen to loads of artists.

I can push my thumb down so the tip touches the inside of my arm. I've been told by my physio I'm "hyperflexible". I do it just to freak people out xD

HEAVEN-SENT 12th Apr 2010 2:24 PM

yeah i can do that (i am hyperflexible and double jointed and have hypermobilate)

i can do the spilts to the side and to the front

jewaukeela 12th Apr 2010 11:26 PM

No way in hell, im super inflexible.

I get really worked up about nerdy things (mythology mistakes in Percy Jackson, for example)

PharaohHound 13th Apr 2010 12:14 AM

Yes! I can't actually think of any examples atm, but I know I do.

I have no trouble deciding what I don't want to do, but actually figuring out something I want to do is, ahem, challenging.

Rabid 15th May 2010 12:56 AM

Not really. However, I often have a really hard time deciding where I want to eat. I don't really get cravings, so I'm never sure what sounds good to me. When I'm going to eat with someone, I often tell them to pick the place, because I'll be sitting around contemplating it forever if I get to pick.

One of my pet peeves: people who don't cover their mouth when they yawn. I don't really know why; I just think it's impolite.

NightlyEMP 15th May 2010 4:49 AM

I agree. Anyone over the age of 5 should know to cover their mouths. If I wanted to see your tonsils, I'd ask.

I have to plan out everything I do ahead of time (usually the night before when I'm drifting off to sleep). I don't mean planning as in "I plan on going to the store tomorrow", I mean it as "Tomorrow I'm gonna get up, put this on, with these undergarments and these socks, leave at this time, take these roads and go to this store and park in this section."
