Hope it's not too late to enter. I've been trying all evening, but MTS has been down.

Okay, here's my attempt, in a story-ish form.

Have you ever heard of a house costing one simoleon?

You're asking yourself, "What's the catch?" I asked myself that very question when my husband told me about this great old house we could get for that unbelievable sum. He did admit it needed work...

The house in question was a Second Empire home, built in 1884. There was quite a bit to work with, but... so much effort, between repairing broken windows, patching the leaky roof, and just clearing out all the junk left by vandals and drug users. (Did I mention this house was deemed an eyesore and nuisance by the city and was under consideration for demolition if it couldn't be rehabilitated?)

We've been at it for the past year, cleaning, fixing, replacing, and restoring. It's still not done yet, but we've at least finished most of the lower two floors; the attic, though... that's just too big a job to tackle for the moment.

Did I mention some previous owner painted over all the brick exterior at some point in the past? So the bricks will never look like they once did, but the faded old paint makes the old girl look shabby chic on the outside; and as long as I live here, she'll be shabby chic inside, too.

House is currently 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, with an attic space waiting to be upgraded.

Required exterior shots:

Front of house:

Back of house:

Extra house exterior shots:
Three-Quarter front of house:

You can see some of the old paint still clinging to the exterior in some places.

Three-Quarter Back of house:

Here you can see the old greenhouse, which was nearly collapsing when we bought the place. We hated to tear it all down, so we salvaged what we could and turned it into a grand carport. Tres elegante!

Required overhead shots to show the floorplan:
First Floor:

Foyer, living room, formal dining room, and kitchen.

Second floor:

Master bedroom, two additional bedrooms (only minimally decorated), two baths, and an office area on the landing. The second bath is toilet and shower in the bathroom, the sink is located in the bedroom. This was typical in old houses of the period, when a full bath was added later in an old closet.

Attic level:

You can see we haven't gotten around to clearing out the mess up here. Have you ever had a situation where the job just seems so big you can't take much more? Yeah, that's how we feel about that attic sometimes...

Roof:

Additional Interior Shots:
Living Room:

All the photos of the ancestors! Great-great Grandma Lil was quite a woman!

Bookcase.

We even found an old radio that still works!

Here's a peek from the living room into the foyer. Back in olden times, when you didn't want a stranger to come too far into your home, you'd have them sit out in the foyer.

Dining Room:

We could only find two each of three different chairs, but I like that everything isn't all matchy-matchy.

Kitchen:

The old stove is original to the house. The fridge? 1950s.

Back door and peeking back into the hallway.

Master Bedroom:

Mirror we found at another flea market.

Office area on the landing:

Attic:

They really tore up the walls up here. Even the lath is coming off in some places. Eeek!

Apparently the previous "tenants" used to live on cigarettes and Count Chocula. I don't even want to think about where all the blood on those mattresses came from...

A broken chair and a spare window that clearly never went with this house...

A few exterior shots to round things out:

Fountain and a seating area to enjoy our handiwork.

The flower bed in front of the living room. As you can see, my husband isn't too keen on all the work that represents...

So, there you have it; a house for a simoleon that looks pretty darned good!

It's my own fault for thinking I'd have all day Friday and Saturday. Friday my computer's fan failed, and I spent all day trying to put in a new one cuz my case is made of fail. Then Saturday I got called into work. And Sunday I thought I had a commission due, then realized it's not until this time next month. I spent a good chunk yesterday working on it, and some hours today. I have work all night, so I'll admit though, it has slim to none chance of making it in time ^_^'

It will still be uploaded once finished, so probably by thursday. I didn't spend all this time on it to abandon it entirely. I'm actually getting pretty excited about having my first upload to MTS!

Cocoli 5th Aug 2013 8:30 PM

Hello everyone!

Great entries so far! It's really exciting and kind of intimidating at the same time but even if it's my first contest on this forum I tried to do my best.

For this round I tried to do something that I seldom see here on MTS : a very realistic house using tons ad tons of CC. As CC use is allowed I decided not to restrain myself and go all out with it. Of course every single piece of custom content used is free and I took extra time to check everything. And just because I used lots of CC doesn't mean that building or decorating was easy in any shape or form : nearly every single object has been CASTed for this house . So here it goes!

That's it for the pictures. Hope you enjoyed them! I'd like to point out that the house has been tested throughout and is completely fonctionnal, minous some clipping here and there (the curtains, the cushions and throws, and the shutters).

Round 1 Application

Weeping Roses
This is my first competition ever! After being on vacation ALL July I was super exited to see I still had time left to enter! I have played Sims 3 since it came out, but never got into building until the last few months. I’m not great yet and still getting the hang of using CFE cheats. This house was built with only using Move Objects On to keep it simple.

About the house:

Modern/Contemporary 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom with one car carport. This house is perfect for a single sim or newly married couple. The second bedroom doubles as a home office. The house also features a second story laundry room. The colors I used are soft and natural feeling. The wood throughout the house is a natural pine color and really works well with the soft colors. The 1st floor is an open floor plan to give the house a feeling of being bigger than what it is.

I hope I didn't leave anything out! If I did, please let me know and I will edit my post. Thanks!!!

Chalet Encombré

Chalet Encombré

When Virginie and Luca saw the secluded Chalet Encombré from atop a nearby mountain, they instantly fell in love. The sporty young couple dreamed of days spent snowboarding in the surrounding mountains followed by cosy nights before the chalet’s fire.

Entranced by these dreams, they snapped up the chalet and set about transforming it into their dream home. They often clashed, minimalism against traditional ski-chic, kitch against practical style, modern technology against the joys of a warm fire and a good book. The transformation faltered, directionless.

Ten years and two sons later, the chalet never quite reached the couple’s ideal, but time has turned the chalet into a chaotic but warm family home. Books litter every surface, snowboards hang un-used over the ever-busy staircase and the garden has fallen into messy but calm disarray.

*picks chin up from off floor* I'm completely blown away with the volume & creativity in the contest entries. Absolutely awesome!

About 12 hours remaining in the application round.
  • Anyone looking to enter-- get your build on!
  • Anyone looking to be a judge, please read the 1st post & this one, as well.
  • Anyone who has edited his/her entry post/s, please make sure that you make a new post stating that you have edited your entry post. This is because some judges have begun scoring, and we do not want your edits to be overlooked.

if you check on the first post there is a link to the timer, that should tell you how long you have left. If i was to enter, which i'm not cos i'm a sims2 builder, i would have around 10 hours left to build in cos i live in the UK. Hope that helps.

Modern Gingerbread Formal

Hello fellow Sim lovers, and congrats to all the submitters here!

This contest entry is my first time participating in a building challenge. Thank you, QBuilderz, for creating this one – I was hooked as soon as I saw the post. I started building idly, with no real intention of participating. But after getting sucked into this project, there’s no way I’m letting my work of these previous 10 days go to waste. :P
Without further ado, I present the Modern Gingerbread Formal!

My building theme came from a random generator of house ideas. It suggested the following:
Quote:
This moderately-sized house looks fairly modern and is in good condition. The interior is done in colors that remind you of a gingerbread house. The yard is large and looks very formal.

From this prompt I kept three main ideas: gingerbread house color theme, modern furnishings, and a formal yard. Hence the terribly original name Modern Gingerbread Formal.

Hopefully the theme(s) came across well. I tried to keep the color palette limited to the browns of gingerbread and chocolate, the white and cream of frosting and custard, and the bright colors of candy. Windows and doors had of course to be cream-colored with many window panes, just like real gingerbread houses. A pleasant challenge came from balancing frilly decorative touches (after all, some gingerbread houses are really elaborate!) with modern furniture. I tried to use furniture with “modernized” traditional shapes and materials. Outside, in the yard, a few spruce trees complete the gingerbread house theme. The white gravel in the alleyways is meant to suggest sugar. So in the end, the Modern Gingerbread Formal dwelling is more inspired by gingerbread houses rather than copying them.

Here’s a picture-heavy tour of the house, done entirely in optional pictures, starting from the dining room in the corner of the first floor.

Favorite part of Round 1: The formal yard! I usually make very... utilitarian Sim houses, shall we say, so this is my first attempt at landscaping. I am very proud of the outdoor dining nook, and of the pine trees' arrangement on the little hill. I can’t wait to hone my landscaping skill further with this challenge. I also like to place windows indoors, instead of screens or half-walls, so I went a little crazy with them, as you may have noticed. :P

Difficulties encountered in Round 1: I ran into some weird problems while building, from inexplicably vanishing floor tiles to wonky ceiling tiles to an unCASTable half wall. I gave up on decorating the ceilings at all after the moldings decided to rotate on their own for the third or fourth time. Sad panda. The bare ceilings make rooms look cold. I also didn’t pay attention to the rules when I started building (I wasn’t even thinking I’d participate), so I think I turned the lot around when placing it – the back became the front. The front of the house ended up quite close to the sidewalk, with no front yard to speak of. Lastly, I also need to learn how to take better pictures in-game.

Vista Breeze

Hi guys! This is my first time participating in a contest - I got really excited (and nervous) when I saw this one. Here goes... I am really digging the latest expansion pack, so I paradised this one up! I live in San Diego and this house reminds me of something I might see up in the cliffs at La Jolla.

Situated high in the hills of Isla Paradiso, Vista Breeze is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath beauty that features lush landscaping and sensational views. Some retro and modern touches give character to its classic lines and traditional coastal feel.

Frankencottage

Hey there Simmers! My name is Byron Crumpletopper and I'll be your tour guide for the day.

That's me...fishing down by the pond. Looks like it'll be mac 'n cheese for lunch again today.

Some hundred years ago, my Grandpappy got himself a job working over at the cannery and starting looking for a place to call home. There wasn't much of anything here in them days, so he bought up a sliver of beach and built a little shack.

Over the years, it's grown and shrunk. Been knocked sideways by hurricane Goopy, flooded more times than I can remember, bombed during the Great War by that loony old General, Wrongway Goth (and he was on our side) and once, accidentally set on fire by a foolish boy who shall remain nameless. It's been rebuilt so haphazardly so many times that I lovingly call it "Frankencottage".

Not too many people livie here year round anymore. The cannery closed up years ago and there's nothing to keep the young folks on the island. Mostly it's just us oldtimers and something called eco-toursists. Can't say as I know what that means but they bring in some money and keep the taps at the Lucky Pirate flowing.

My youngest boy married one of those interior design people and she's always doing something to the place when they visit. Don't think it needs it myself, but the little ones like their rooms and I have to admit that rugs feel nice on these wrinkly old feet. Still don't know why there's flowers on the toilet though...who stencils flowers on a crapper?

The outdoors though, she's still all mine, right down to the old outhouse. It's filled in with sand but I keep in around for old times sake. The flowers like it too.

And that's about it. Stay tuned for some terribly exciting messages from our sponsor...I'm off to the Lucky Pirate. I hear there's been some sort of a disaster in Twinbrook that has the whole place quarantined...something to do with stretchy children disease.

French Blues

I hope this is in time for the deadline. If not, enjoy anyway.

I present the French Blues farmhouse. Newly renovated, the owners wanted an update to their 150-year old family home. It has 2 bedrooms, 1-1/2 bath, and an open concept main floor.

There is a pond for fishing or whatever strikes your fancy. It's said that this home was moved from the vineyards of France to it's present location, and rebuilt stone by stone 150 years ago by Robert Devilaire for his new bride, Honey Potts Devilaire.

Custom Content from the Sims 3 Store, MTS, VitaSims3 and some I'm not sure where they came from. The MTS creators that are 1) some of my favorites, and 2) incredibly talented and creative include:
Huge Lunatic for the Simple Shower and Tub
Purple Paws for the carpets
Alexpilgrim for the fractional walls
Lisen801 for the modular stair corners
Glachaille for the tufted brushed velvet pattern

I also want to thank VitaSims3 for the Tuscan Table and Chairs, and ung999 for "Dawn Forever 1 & 2" paintings.

The creators on this site are awesome and this home would not have been possible without their inspiring works. Thank you to QbuilderZ and the judges for considering my work.

Which? Willow Cottage

Which? Willow Cottage

In the depths of Twinbrook swamp lies a house of rumor and myth. Ghost stories, twisted truths, passed down from Teen to Child to make them scared of the shadows under their beds. But no one ever went looking, whether in fear of truth or thought of mere fiction, until now. Being the brave Sim that you are, you went in search for the truth to this myth.

Though the house seems long since abandoned, you can't help but feel like you're being watched. And the longer you stare at the photos the more you realise you were never alone...

Well here I am, The Great Morpheezy, at it again in Stage two of these awesome building comps, hosted by wonderful Q. I'm super excited to see what great homes people design this time around. The bevy of entrants already has me astounded! There are definitely some amazing homes in the mix and competition, like last time is tough. But I'm up for the challenge and fun

This is the first house I have built in almost a year, and as it was before, I still hate decorating haha! However, I am pretty happy with how it came out. So I present to you:

Thanks to Armiel, HL and Granthes for their great CC.

I'm glad that we have got more time for Round 1 because today at work I just realised that I forgot to mention that my last post was my 2nd entry for this round. Hope I won't forget to add this information for the next round(s).

Sorry to all the judges for having added a 2nd entry but it was so tempting to build a community lot, too. You guys have to judge a huge amount of entries now. Thank you for taking the time to do so.

kmoldovan 6th Aug 2013 7:46 PM

Well, when I woke up this morning and saw that Round 1 has been extended, I thought I would start a second entry.. with 10 hours left I think I have plenty of time to get it done. I feel soooo sorry for the judges on this one with so many double entries

Thranduil Oropherion 6th Aug 2013 9:09 PM

I told my deeply disinterested husband about this competition, last night over supper, and I got all excited and said 'there is *nearly* 100 entries!' and 'you wouldn't believe how every one has interpreted the foundation in so many different ways ...' ... He glazed over until I fired up my laptop to show him all that everyone had done. Even a non simmer was eventually impressed He's even got some personal faves too, as a Structural Engineer he favours certain types of 'structure'. None of my lots though ... the traitor! He'll be cooking his own supper tonight!

Really not surprised at the double entries - I know that after I built my first, there was a naggling brain worm of a house fighting to get out which couldn't be got rid of until I built it <3 Regarding the judges, I feel that something more substantial than cookies may be needed at this rate,
So ...

I tried telling my husband about the competition and he told me to have fun! LOL He's just glad that for all of this month he's doing training out of state! No two entries are even similar it really is amazing. Some of the houses made me realize how creative I'm really not! I'm working on that though.

  • Anyone looking to enter-- get your build on!
  • Anyone looking to be a judge, please read the 1st post & this one, as well.
  • Anyone who has edited his/her entry post/s, please make sure that you make a new post stating that you have edited your entry post. This is because some judges have begun scoring, and we do not want your edits to be overlooked.

gogolinopz- If you want to share your lot, I suggest going through the moderation queue instead of uploading to this contest thread. To upload to MTS, please check the MTS Upload Wizard.
selaroche- Could you please edit your post so that the judges can see your lot's screenshots? If you're having difficulty posting images, please read this & this.

I apologize, I thought that we should also share the file. As I said in the post - it is my first challenge on MTS.

The Professor's House

I wanted to build a storybook style house, and I wanted it to feel like it belonged to someone ambiguously magical. I imagine that The Professor is a scholarly wizard who fancies himself a non-magical anthropologist (even though he does a truly awful job of blending in), but I'll leave the details up to you.

Location: Moonlight Falls
Furnished Price: §83,481
Unfurnished Price: §39,622
Custom Content: A handful of Store items and a decorative cornice post from AweSims.

Q, you are a madman, but thank you for extending the contest. I hope I'm not the last person to submit, but that would be just about par for the course with me as far as deadlines go.

No apologies necessary by any means. I'm happy that you took the contest leap! And I do hope that you upload it.

Last pitch for contest judges. *whimpers softly* Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Really loving these entries! I told Q "if you half build it, they will come." And... holy hundred! You all rocked it! (counting on a 100 here, ReyaD!)

I'm actually working on a second lot that I'm in love with (CFE stairs that DON'T look like shit? Yes, sir). But I've got plans tonight so here's hoping I get it all done in time. Just CASTing and landscaping left. You know. the two things that take the longest to actually complete.

I did my landscaping first cause that's my least favorite thing to do... how do you get CFE stairs to work... mine always turn out like sh*t. I usually end up having an extra floor that can't be used and lighting doesn't work if the sims are sitting on a couch. I get the stupid too dark moodlet

Entry 2

Grandma's Haven

PHEW! I'm beginning to really hate myself for attacking a second build, but I think it was well worth it! I am happier with the way this one turned than the first one, but hey ya live and live. I actually have a story for this one.

I grew up in a the city of Chicago, but my family's legacy began in a little small farm town. My great-grandparents built our family's legacy home sometime in the late 1800s. My grandfather Mills and his wife then raised their family in that same house. My father and my mother chose to abandon this beautiful house in search of a better life. When my father passed away last spring I inherited the house. All in good timing since my divorce had just finished up and my daughter, Lillian, and I were looking to start fresh. Now, I knew the house was going to be in bad shape, but boy was I in for a surprise! It's a good thing original stone foundation was still there. The roof was rotten, outside walls were in dire need, and most of the interior walls needed replacing. So here I am, 18 months into the remodel and quite happy with the results. The only thing left is the "attic room." I've been putting off going through all of my great-grandparent's treasures for far too long. I think a home office is in need....or maybe I'll just hold on a little bit longer to the last bits of my family's legacy.

Here are the pictures of what I have made of this wonderful old home:

Custom Content

Andrej_8, Simmiller, cmomoney, Alopex, alexpilgrm (I believe that's everyone. I made a list while I was playing) There are a few items form the TS3 store (Banquett fan, The stove in the kitchen and possibly a few others)

Expansion Packs

I have all of the expansion packs. I am pretty sure I used at least one item from each expansion pack except for Pets. When I submit the house through the uploader I will double check what expansion packs I used and which ones I didn't.

Thats probably because you are CFEing the entire floor rather than the squares needed for the stairs themselves. You might find this tutorial useful.

Do you worship the sun, does your skin crave the warm caress of her life giving rays? Working on your bronze lately? Are you a huge fan of spikey plants?

If you answered yes to any of the above then this little gem of a house might be right for you! Located in the middle of the Simtacama desert this lush, verdant oasis is no mirage. Let yourself be drawn to the sound of the fountain, the bright colours boldly beckoning you ever closer.

This house is named after a flowering cactus, and like it's name-sake you shouldn't let appearances deceive you. Although this house is found in the middle of the desert you will be very comfortable here. Take a dip in the pool, relax by the pond or just read a book in the shade of a tree; whatever takes your fancy!

This little holiday house is waiting to be discovered by that special someone, could it be you?

I noticed I didn't have a foundation level shot, and the windows I'm using are a tad bit misleading. I don't think I'll have time to run back in the game and take it in time at the rate that imgur is uploading, so to clarify: the bay windows all have an overhang to them, but nothing is actually build off of the foundation. Additionally, there is a section where I added plants to hide that the foundation is there, as part of a higher garden area. It's that section where all those plants are pouring out of the side.

I didn't use any CC for this, and I don't *believe* I used any store content, but its possible I accidentally included one. I don't have any object CC installed though.

I apologize for the quality of the screenshots and for the lacking additional shots. I delayed getting this up for too long and only just realize how abysmal my upload speeds are

Anyway, this house was done last night after I realized I didn't like my original house. The exterior is my favorite part, as well as the downstairs. The upstairs was created when my caffiene levels were depleted, and it shows. Still, I'm very proud of this overall! The exterior of houses is my usual weak spot but I feel like this one is pretty nice overall, and I didn't struggle too much with it, either.

Hi here is my entry

lace_and_metal 7th Aug 2013 5:59 AM

Sad day. I won't be able to make it in time. My images are just now being uploaded to photobucket... and they're no where near the correct size. At least I ended up finishing it ^_^

http://s261.photobucket.com/user/La...Sims3Challenge1

If anyone is curious to see it at least... I'll try cleaning it up to upload tomorrow morning.

Now, it is time to curl up and actually enjoy playing the house I've speed-decorated so almost diligently.

ReyaD 7th Aug 2013 6:06 AM

Photobucket is being a bleep so modyourpanties to the rescue. I know this'll be a few minutes late and I'm okay if it isn't accepted. I just wanted to share this.

This is my second entry, belonging to an elderly grandmother raising her two teenage grandchildren. Obviously the house is majorly outdated in places, especially in the master bedroom and garden. Still, the house is in great condition and I'm quite proud of the CFE staircase and front landscaping.

CC painting are thanks to Qbuilderz and Mea and all other custom content comes from the Sims 3 store.

The Beached Bachelor

Since the deadline was extended again i thought i would whip another house for a second entry because, frankly, this is just way too much fun! (and i have nothing better to do on my day off)

The Beached Bachelor,
The ultimate bachelor pad for any young sim who wants everything except a family! Situated on the edge of Pleasant view beach, the cliffs and remote location add an illusion of privacy to this fish bowl house. Are you a keen angler or swimmer? then this home is perfect for you! with the water only being only seconds from your front door!
(house insurance does not cover tsunami damage)

That's such a pity because it looks like a fantastic house. Perhaps if you asked QBUILDERZ nicely, he would let you participate in the rest of the rounds since you did "sort of" get an entry in. I know I would like to see some more of your houses.

I'm slowly making my way through all the entries and I'm stunned by the number and the quality of them. Looks like I'm not the only one who has lurked through some of these competitions and finally taken the plunge.

It's been both fun and incredibly frustrating...mostly the picture taking part. How did everyone else know that there was a TAB camera mode and how to use it, except me? Was there a memo? Was I on a pub crawl or abducted by aliens that week? When did this happen?

Good luck to the judges. Have a cookie and a beer (or 12).

Menaceman44 7th Aug 2013 6:07 PM

aeval99, you may also like to know that if you hold the Shift key while in Tab mode and press A or D it will tilt the camera instead of moving left or right. It may be useful for getting some interesting overview shots of your builds.

aeval99 7th Aug 2013 7:24 PM

Thanks for the help with camerman mode. It would seem that I have some homework to do before the next round.

Looks like I need to adjust some settings in Photobucket too. I haven't used it for posting anything but smileys and goofy gifs since they changed it all around. Why do I have to click my photos 3 times to see the actual size....huh, Photobucket? No beer or cookies for you!

kmoldovan 7th Aug 2013 7:29 PM

I don't use photobucket. Image Shack works so much better for me. I really love the drop and drag for uploading pictures. It is sooo much smoother than searching for files through browse.

Halloo,

I decided to take part on this contest just to see if I could still build stuff, and ended up building a tribute/sonate to HP's pink bushes.

I'm not so much of a story-teller, so I'm just going to let the pictures speak for themselves.The pictures may speak for themselves, but I still added some info about the lot with them as well. Word of warning though, I kinda went overboard with the pictures, so there is a TON of them. :D

The house is not a model home, I wanted to create something that would look like someone actually lived there. All though, I think my sims are a lot neater bunch than I am.

The lot has been playtested with two sims living there for a couple of sim days. All of the stuff is accessible, unless I managed to forget to test some of them.
The foundation has not been altered, for any other but color and covering.
The lot was built using Only EP/SP content, my own terrain paints, and a couple of carefully selected mods that deserve recognizing. Big thanks for these mods for their creators!
Buzzler - Builder stuff. Needless to say this is a must have!
HP - LN camera mod, and of course the altered plants of which the pink flowers and tamed aspens are from.
Granthes - Curtain adjustment
Velocitygrass - Stencil removal mod

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Qbie, thanksies for hosting yet another fun foundation contest! And darn you for not allowing to alter the height of the foundation for even landscapy purposes! :P
Everyone with entries, great job you all!
Everyone else, go on, take part, drown Qbie to entries since he wanted more than the last time! :D
Happy simming,
~armiel
Ha, I feel I can say this now scores are in for your holiday competition so it won't seem like I'm sucking up !
I love this house! I called my son to see it and said "Wow, I'd love my Sims to have a house like this!", to which he said "Mum, I'd love for us to live in that house!"
So, if you could just upload it in a magical way that not only people could download it for their Sims, but we could also extract it from the computer and use it to replace our real house, that would be just lovely!
ReyaD 7th Aug 2013 7:36 PM
I would totally upload mine, except removing all the CC would make it ugly I think EA really needs better build content. Or maybe I need more expansion packs.
TVRdesigns 7th Aug 2013 10:58 PM
AS A QUICK NOTE:
QBUILDERZ has updated the judging period to 7 days as opposed to 3.
This is obviously due to the unexpectedly large number of entries. We got maybe double what we anticipated and its a large task to organised everything and find time within our real lives to do that. We also feel its necessary because we don't want to rush judgement on lots, resulting in lower scores and a lower opinion of the caliber of the contest itself.
As a side note, I've marked and commented on (maybe 100-200 words per comment) 30 lots. I am not doing comments on ALL of the remaining 70 as its just taking a very large period of time, but I will comment on as many as I can, as I feel as a judge its an obligation on my part and a valid expectation on yours that you get an explanation of why you got the score you did.
Yippee! Round 2.
The counter says 13 days but the rules say 10. Does anyone know which one of them is correct?
And I'm a bit confused...in what way would you change the height of the foundation?
ETA: OK, now that I've seen the foundation I think I get it. You can alter the height of the terrain next to it to show more/less foundation. Correct?
