I don't know what made my day. All I know is that I'm happy about today.

I got my new footmuff for my sons stroller through the mail and I found out that I do not have to wait for my birthday to get WA. I can get in on its UK release day :D

I went to a midnight screening of New Moon and not only was the audience mature and didn't screech, but the movie exceeded my expectations greatly. I was expecting utter fail, particularly after what Hardwicke did to Twilight, but the movie was actually really good.

My crush getting mad at his younger brother (same age as me) for playing the guitar with a ridiculous distortion and way too loud. He whined that he can't hear his own voice, then threatened him, but the guy just kept going.

Also, but I realised my favourite song has a happy ending. It might sound foolish, but it's the only thing right now that's keeping me optimistic.

Update: I found the book I had been looking for for ages. I glanced at my shelf and it was simply there.

I have what I assume is a light load of homework. Yay.

I woke up late. Yeah...

I got home at about 4, I thought it would take me until about 4 in the morning to finish this paper on Roman peristyles, but I've written 1300 words in just over an hour so I might actually have some freetime tonight!

No homework was set today! But I bet we'll get loads tomorrow...

Our english teacher wasnt at school today so we had a sub and I did 0.1% (=1 line) of work I should have done and instead I messed around with my mates and Tom was really evil and Sam made me laugh with tears and we were running around cos Tom kept takin our pencil cases and we danced around and the teacher was just there, not realising anything/ignoring us!!!!!!!!!!!! With my original teacher, I would have had detention for like, a week by then, but we just messed around the whole time! XD best lesson eva!

My dodgy illness has gone completely, the school closed early and might not be open tomorrow, but unfortunately I have given Spud my dodgy illness..

I stayed home from school. So, only one day of school this week for me!

Okay, so it's kind of a long story, but it warmed my heart:

There's this girl (let's call her Izzie) who used to go to my school, but she moved schools last year because she was getting bullied and because her estranged father was harassing her after finding her in town. She changed her name and moved states and schools, but still remained friends with heaps of people at my school.

Anyway, my grade graduates next week, and we've got a formal followed by an absolutely massive after-party, and the girl got an invitation. On Facebook, someone from school started saying how she wasn't allowed to come to the after-party because she's technically not a student at our school, and started bad-mouthing her for all of her friends to see.

A few of the people who are currently at my school told the person bad-mouthing her to shut up, but she kept on going. Finally, this guy who I thought was a TOTAL wanker posted on Izzie's page saying how she should stop listening to all the people bad-mouthing her, called her beautiful, and told her that she had every right to come to the after-party and it wouldn't feel right without her there. So sweet!

Seeing New Moon. Now I just have to convince my mom to go see it so I can see it again.

My mommy announced to the rest of the familia about her and my future step dad's wedding arrangements and their plans of adopting a baby from South Korea. Of course my sisters, dad and I knew this already but she announced it to the rest of the fam during Thanksgiving Dinner.

While I'm on the topic of babies, my nephew is due on April 17th 2010 <3 He's being named after my grandpa.

That pretty much sums up the news I think.

This week was pretty much the highlight of the year.
Now that I'm done with my Maths end-of-semester test (I think I did great), I have 5 days of freedom ahead =)

I bought a gorgeous (and enormous, at that) new ring, and it was sinfully cheap because of Black Friday.

I had a very good night yesterday and met some really cool new people.

A family dinner, getting a bit tipsy and finding out my favourite cousin might spend Christmas Eve with us.

I'm back in Californiaaaaaaaaaa, What a fun Thanksgiving break its been (: I miss North Carolina already <3 So ready for school on Monday, to see my besties!!

I've found a new place to live next school year with people who are genuinely my friends! I feel a bit like I'm backstabbing the people I live with at the moment by doing this, but frankly they deserve it. I can't get over how selfish they are, and I can't wait for next September now.

Last night was so awesome, despite falling over and spraining my ankle XD.

First of all, Formal was so much fun. Everyone looked absolutely stunning, and I got loads of compliments. And the after-party was so sweet! It was in a proper club, and despite the people vomiting everywhere it was awesome. I got asked to dance by 5 different people, which was a huuuuge confidence boost.

My two best friends made my day today. We've been through thick and thin together, since 8th Grade and even though I'm miles apart from them now, we are still close. I know they will always have my back and I will always have theirs. The old days when I gave up on myself, and drank myself to near death (a secret I often keep). They have always been their for me, and I have always been their for them. And when they found out what my ex did to me they were out for blood. I thank them for having me as a best friend even when I wasn't at my best =)

I volunteer twice a week tutoring a first grade class, and one of the little girls told me that I'm the prettiest girl she's ever seen. It was the sweetest little thing... I've always been pretty neutral as to the prospect of having children, but volunteering with them makes my ovaries tingle :P.

Viewing some drawing-tutorials-for-idiots, that actually convinced me to give drawing another chance.

I've laughed so much this evening I was almost sick. I can't remember the last time I laughed so much that it hurt everywhere!

YAY! My mum is letting me go to Wilco's concert next year with some friends. I'm soooo excited now!

I bought a t-shirt today that just...made my day.

The first snow of the winter! I love snow.

However, it was a disaster. The roads were slick and the snow hadn't started until it was too late to close school, therefore we had to go anyway. Numerous students crashed their cars, two buses got in a crash, and what is normally an eight-minute trip to school took an hour, the roads were so bad. Probably some of the worst road conditions I've seen in all of my Midwestern winters.

I hate snow, but the first snow is always nice and pretty.

It's cooooooold! That usually wouldn't be so cool to me, but this means it might snow this week. Snow levels are at 1500, I'm at 1000 feet, it's gonna be freaking cold all week, and it's going to rain twice. I've never seen snow, so that's why I'm so excited.

If we get kicked out, we will say we are from the Ministry of Magic and are conducting some research into the apparent resurrection of Cedric Diggory.
After this, we're heading back to my place for a Harry Potter movie marathon :D

^^ Well done. If it was me taking a test, I'd be in the Vent thread right now For someone that has gotten quite a few academic awards, I seem to fail majorly at school a lot...

Anyway, I won the award for best student in Drama! Probably because I was the only one in the class actually able to read Shakespeare...have I already posted that here? Don't know. And it's the first day of SIX WEEKS OF SUMMER HOLIDAYS!

I'm getting fit these holidays dammit....

The weather cooling down, and getting another call from the hospital about my grandmother. Not only were there no complications with the surgery, but they've contacted her retirement home down the coast and requested she gets moved from the Dementia ward because of her improved condition : )
