Got my room cleaned! Well, mostly. I hate the process of actually cleaning it, but it feels great now that it's done.

Oh, and my mum and I found an adorable (which is to say adorably tacky) pair of light-up penguins to put in front of the house this Christmas.

My friend gave my boyfriend 'The Talk', basically saying that if Brandan ever hurt me, my friend would injure him beyond repair and make sure he never did the deed ever again. The look on Brandan's face was priceless.

Pre-ordering Jonathan Safran Foer's new novel, Tree of Codes. I've waited four and a half years for him to publish something new; I'm so goddamn excited. Why oh why did I pick a favorite author who publishes so sporadically?

Well, it being my sister's 16th today, I rang her after she got home from her german exam and the call lasted just under 4 hours. Then my brother came home from school and he told me he's passed all his year 9 end-of-year exams and he's top of the class in physics . It makes me so proud to see what my siblings are already achieving. So this has made my day

Sometimes I love particular friends. One of them just text me to ask if "all's good in the hood?" I told her that no, it was not all good in the hood, as she put it, and she told me to come over to her house on Friday so we can drink a few bottles of wine and cry.

Actually something totally made my day more. Doing great musical improvisation with my awesomely talented, sometimes challenging nine-year-old piano student, Sophie.

GAH. Harry Potter was amazing. I would gladly pay to see it again. So good! :D

It's 10:40 PM, and I just got home from school. Philosophy was a blast, now I'm too pumped to sleep.

It's been a nice, relaxing day today - great especially after a hectic work day yesterday, when it was my first day as manager. And today I booked tickets for Harry Potter on Friday, with my fiance! :-D

This retarted game I played with some friends last night.

My boyfriend and another guy friend got dared to kiss each other for 10 full seconds, it was kind of interesting because my boyfriend seemed to have no issue with it... while the other guy was all "no man not cool" but he knew he had to do it.

And I dunno why but it turned me on ;-) I guess it's the fact that here we view guys kissing as a "Taboo" and "forbidden" which makes it even more hot and alluring.

The guy I've been kind of/sort of dating asked me to semi-formal. Neither of us like dancing, much less school dances, so I feel like he asked more because asking is symbolic of declaring that you have a crush on someone and less because he actually wants to go, but of course I said yes. Prolonged exposure to loud bass noise tends to make me dizzy, though, so I'm going to make it very clear to him that we're going to have to take the party elsewhere after an hour or so. I hate dances and I hate dancing, but on the bright side, I get to buy a pretty dress, to go out to dinner, to show off to my classmates that someone asked me, and to enjoy the pleasure of his company .

It's confirmed: I'm going to see The Lion King on stage in Toronto this spring! My mom just bought tickets. YAAAAAAYY! :D

It's my final day of classes for the year (: Bring on the holidays!

Celebrating my best friend's eighteenth with champagne and live music. I hope she had a great time, too, 'cause I sure had.

Got in trouble at school for wearing my "I'm A Free Bitch Baby" t-shirt. I got so many compliments though, ugh adults suck the fun out of everything.

I was going through old photos trying to find some photos from when I went to Lisbon a few years ago, and instead I found this hilarious photo from when I was in Rome. I'm right in front of the Colosseum and I look so angry. I remember being in such a bad mood that day and it really shows! I love going through old photos.
