i think in the main city, (which would have been built and restored a long time ago) should be filled, but in the new neighborhood in the valley, that can have more empty lots and homes, best of both worlds, then builders and players can use and appreciate it!

Just my two cents.

Deluxe Designs 24th Aug 2010 9:20 PM

I agree with tyu, that sounds like a reasonable idea to keep the balance and please most peopel

toyou1214 24th Aug 2010 9:21 PM

No way.....did someone ACTUALLY agree with me! WOW! (: it seems like im usually the one with the different ideas, lol.

Craggles 24th Aug 2010 9:40 PM

LOL yes tyu, thats usually the case, but i agree as well. the valley part looks like itd be the sort of place where outsiders would come to live and buy 'vacation' homes. where the town would be full of the old people who've lived there for generations :D

toyou1214 24th Aug 2010 9:46 PM

exactly. (:

sleepyrose 24th Aug 2010 10:17 PM

Ok, I'm happy to go with the flow, lol! Just as long as I can have a spot for the starter I build a while ago.

toyou1214 25th Aug 2010 12:22 AM

Is the inside modern and up to date? Because if it is, it can go in the more middle/lower income area in the valley, as long as it still looks...expensive and nice! (:

Tyu.

sleepyrose 25th Aug 2010 8:08 AM

Well, actually it looks like an old granny could live there. But I've build it way in the beginning and we decided to ad a lot for it at some point. It doesn't look expensive either, but I don't think there's a whole lot to expect for a budget under 16.500. You can see the pictures in the finished building section. The house is called Vita Semplice.

If you guys don't mind me asking... what is your vision of the area? I take it you all want it newer and more modern, but do you have any examples of what that may look like?

toyou1214 25th Aug 2010 8:46 AM

My 2nd recent upload, the mederterraniam on, (sorry cant spell) big and beautiful, upscale in the first row, like mansions, and maybe the second row smaller/but still look fancy, i can get more pics tomorrow. Im on my ipod, and its 2 am here.

Craggles 25th Aug 2010 10:34 AM

again i agree with tyu. still warm colours, but just more modern and fresh, with bigger windows and stuff.

toyou1214 25th Aug 2010 5:43 PM

exactly, so we still have the charm of the Mediterranean homes, but the look of 21st century, ill get some pics....hold on. okay, here are the links,

Craggles 25th Aug 2010 5:56 PM

Hahaha I actually made the second house on Sims 3!! But it was on my old PC
I'd totally build it again haha

toyou1214 25th Aug 2010 6:44 PM

that does not surprise me! It reminded me of you! (: lol.

sleepyrose 25th Aug 2010 7:07 PM

Ok, thanks very much! That gives me a good vision of what you have in mind. Those houses all look very pretty. The first one looks very much like one of the port rose lots DD build.
I also like the 1st affordable home very much. I think it would be an excellent mini home. If it would be at all possible, I'd like to build in on a 10x10 lot.

Btw, some time back I started building a market for our town. Well, it's not actually a market, but one lot that holds a wine shop, bookstore and the rabbithole diner. It's on a 30x30 lot and might fit very well in the valley. I can modernise it a bit and then the sims that live there won't have to travel so far to eat and shop.

toyou1214 25th Aug 2010 7:08 PM

sounds great! Would it be WA only? or an Ambitions only download?

Craggles 25th Aug 2010 7:29 PM

probs best to have it as a WA only, so it goes with everything else :D
bloody ambitions lol

sleepyrose 25th Aug 2010 7:48 PM

Yes, it's WA only.

toyou1214 25th Aug 2010 8:45 PM

Sounds good, oh and rose i will upload my people when i have a hair that will fit our categorys perfectally,

tyu.

Deluxe Designs 25th Aug 2010 11:59 PM

oh lol, thee 4th house i have actually made for TS3, aha, i made it for TS2 then recreated it for TS3, i totally forgot that it originated from that picture! http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=350288

toyou1214 26th Aug 2010 1:36 AM

DD, maybe you could place it in our world? with some cosmetic changes to make it unique?

Tyu.

Deluxe Designs 26th Aug 2010 12:43 PM

I would be happy to rebuilt it closer to the picture, as over my developments it has kinda gone astray, in fact i could build this for my large lot next to yours!

toyou1214 26th Aug 2010 5:13 PM

That would be cool! except im not sure if it will fit on that lot, you will have to look at it.

sleepyrose 26th Aug 2010 8:23 PM

That looks very beautiful DD! It would be great if you could rebuild it, de-californiarise it a little and up-mediterraniarize it some more, lol. But I don't have to tell you that 'coz you're an expert!

BTW, how many motherload mansions are you guys planning to build? Are these fishermen secretly going to sit on a pile of gold, lol.

Deluxe Designs 26th Aug 2010 11:50 PM

lmao rose, not many, we had these 2 mansions reserved for a while, and i just haven't built mine yet

sleepyrose 27th Aug 2010 12:19 AM

DD, I'm sorry.. I thought you guys were already talking about the valley area, lol. I was just curious how many mansions you had in mind there.
