Me: I didn't have a wedding, Jasmine. And, if I did, of course I would invite you.
Jasmine: I don't believe you. I'm so hurt. I can't even look at you right now, I'm so hurt.

I love little kids . Fortunately, she got over it. My favorite part? The fact that "weddings" is plural, like it's something that I do often.

My friend finally sent me an update of her book which she should seriously publish once she finishes it :D

I got bored earlier and decided to take another crack at installing Sims (3) on this laptop again. After several unsuccessful attempts, I finally found a method that works. So, I got it installed, then decided to do some hard drive clean-up. I got it to where I had 25GB of free space AFTER the 7GB Sims install. This hard drive is 55GB, mind you. I don't really plan on installing anything else besides CC and more expansions (when they come out), so I'm pretty good on space now. Hopefully I'll have a different laptop before EA releases too many more EPs.

Longish story short, I can install all three packs of Sims without issue on my laptop! :D

I've been looking for a skinny silver belt for ages and I've looked all over- at Gap, Old Navy, Nordstrom, J. Crew, Banana Republic, Piperlime, Mod Cloth, Ann Taylor Loft, etc. I finally found one that fits the bill online today for only $2.00. I've been looking at all of these expensive stores and there's been a cheap one out there all along .

Not only did I kick the boys' asses at Age of Empires III, I did so even when they had a 30% economic advantage. :D

Honestly, he said it like it was the biggest shock in the world. It was so funny. It turns out he hasn't even read the sixth Harry Potter book. I really do wonder how we come from the same parents sometimes. We are the complete opposite in everything. I love reading, it's basically my only hobby, and he loves taking electrical equipment apart in his spare time. He is currently taking Chemistry, Biology, Mathmatics and Electronics. When I was his age I took English Lit., History, Latin and Classics. Talk about evidence for nature over nuture. I'm pretty sure we're it.

I had a great meeting with my personal advisor today. Apparently I'm the only one of her advisees to come to see her after she sent an email asking us all to drop in, and when she asked me if I'd done the two essays due in this month it felt so satisfying to tell her that I had done both. Everyone I know has asked for an extension on one that was due Monday 10th and the other essay is due on the 26th.

The ultimate versatile dog. This guy is a GCh show dog (he's competing in Westminster this year), has his RN, AND works as a service dog. Wow.

I went shopping today. Normally Me shopping never strayed from the book store or comic book store. But I had some Xmas money to spend and had seen a coat i liked when i was hanging out with a friend. I went back to get it, expecting to pay the $60. for it. but when it was wrung up, it was only $33.! Now i can get another expansion for my Sims 2! made my day.

Cinnamon scones turned out perfectly, taste so good!

That, and it's my Dad's birthday today - he's 50. Now i really get to start teasing him! :P

My new glasses have arrived. Finally.

I got to stay home today and catch up on some sleep, so now I'm feeling much better than the last couple of days. It's snowing, too.
