My referee for my law school application wrote her reference today. I was so relieved to get the email saying she'd done it because I was starting to get a little worried that the deadline for the application is fast approaching and she hadn't done it yet.

My housemate's boyfriend just got back from Chicago and he'd bought me a Chicago Blackhawks shot glass.

I have enough strength to play piano again. I'm so happy. I thought that I'd never be able to move my fingers fast enough again, because of this illness. Just takes a lot of perseverance that's all :D

I got this (for school concerto concert) in the mail today, and it fits! The best part is that I ordered it on eBay, new, for less than half-price.
