I left my phone in the car today and my mom took it to work with her. So I haven't had to deal with other people's drama all day. :D

I was walking back to my car from my college classes when I slipped on a patch of ice and fell on my knees and scattered a few of my books. It hurt like hell and was supremely embarrassing even though there weren't many people to see, but a cute guy from one of my classes last semester helped me up and picked my books up. Clearly, chivalry is not dead.

Someone had put Percy Bysshe Shelley as their father on facebook as a joke, and Kitty says in all seriousness, "Oh look, her dad's on facebook too!"

What made my day today...I really wanted something AND I finally got it.

I managed to change classes so I'm now studying a second history. Assessment this year may drive me nutty, but I'll come out with a high, shiny ATAR at the end of it :D

My Uncle just emailed me a 3 page pdf with information about my grandmothers side of the family, and with a little bit of digging, i now know who 8 of my great great grandparents are. That's ALL of my paternal great greats This is so exciting!

What made me excited... I finally got my Flip video cam!

in about 7 hours, since recieving the email from my Uncle, I have managed to trace back to the mid 1700's for one part of my family. This is absolutley amazing. Such a wide variety of surnames :P

my bestfriend was attempting suicide last night,

It was actually last night, but I spent three hours hot-tubbing with friends. There's nothing like sitting in a hot tub while it's below zero and snowing.

IKR? I did that on my trip to St. Louis this Christmas, and on Christmas Eve when it was snowing I got into the hot tub. Too bad it doesn't snow in Houston...

Getting up and getting ready to go to work. Being unemployed is not for me.

What made my day, is how people were helping in the street, cleaning and cheering, today for the first time in my life, I saw Egypt for what it's really worth.

The director of the media fellowship program at the college I'll be attending sent me a handwritten letter stating that I'm a top candidate for the program and he'd like to interview me personally rather than let one of the lesser directors conduct the interview. I'm so excited and flattered. It's like a door to my future has opened in front of me.

Ice cream! It is about 32(89.6F) degrees here, so hoooooooot! ice cream couldn't have come at a better time!
