An acquaintance and I were discussing our old sociology class; we used to sit in an assigned group with a friend of hers, who just so happened to be a rare combination of loud, obnoxious, jock-esque, cute, and somehow intelligent. She told me today that, out of class, he used to tell her all the time that I was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen (his words, not mine). I never got the impression that he liked me in the least, at the time. It's certainly flattering and funny in hindsight .

Planning out the menu for a seven-course dinner with two good friends. It was hilarious and it also made me very hungry.

My dad was in Germany on business all week and he brought back handmade German chocolate for me. Yummy! Sometimes I wonder how I'm ever going to find a suitable husband when the male role model in my life is such a gentleman; I worry that no one will live up to my high expectations.

German chocolate is the absolute best!

So, my big brother is making me play Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. I'm playing through with some "puzzles" that I think are pretty obvious, and I hear Andrew exclaim, "what?! That to ME, like, TWENTY MINUTES to do!!" And this happened not once, but four times. :D

There is no satisfaction quite like pwning your big brother at "hardcore" games.

A bunch of guys in my year level had the wonderful idea of bringing rods to school and fishing in the school lake.
There -are- no rules against fishing because no one's tried before, so they teachers kind of just stood there and watched them.
They caught a carp at lunch.
