Pleasantview Epic Challenge
 

Play the families you love one more time however this time with a twist!

The Challenge is to keep all the original last names intact throughout 10 generations.

Broke | Burb | Oldies | Langarek | Dreamer | Goth | Pleasant | Caliente | Lothario

If at anytime you don't have a heir with one of the last names above you have lost the challenge.

No Cheats that would speed up aging.

I suggest using Xmind mapping to keep a family tree. It's free and awesome! (just google xmind and you will find the program)

Example : Coral Oldie [1st] | Mary-Sue Pleasant [2nd] | Angela Pleasant [3th] | Angela's baby [4th] That is 4 generations.

For those of you who like a points system...
+150pts keeping the neighborhood free from any new last names
+20pts for every marriage uniting two sims with the last names above.
-20pts for every townie married.
-25pts unnatural death [it's too tempting!]
+5pts natural death
+5pts for each family friend at the time of death. [must have the family symbol + the friend symbol]
+10pts for each drama plot twist (note: this neighborhood is known for drama, affairs, mysterious deaths and disappearances. keep it going! da da duh!)
+20pts for having a family feud or two families feuding against each other over something small or big.
+250pts having the blood lines so intertwined that at the end that each sim heir can say they have each of the last names heritage.
+50pts if you have sims matched up differently then you ever have played them before.
+10pts every time you extend a sims life so they can see their great grandchildren's kids.


Side Game Points
+25pts include a government with taxes, fees, and laws. [realistic]
+15pts include a job shortage. [not everyone can be a rock god...]
+10pts realistic career skills to jobs [if you never went to University, I doubt you would become a Teacher at the High School]
+15pts no 20k handouts [that's right, either the parents help the kids out or it's apartment living until they make mo' money]
+50pts charge tuition, books / supplies, dorm etc fees for university. $$$ student loans available of course. mwaha
+10pts once a year have a family holiday [Thanksgiving / Christmas / New Year's / Easter] or a vacation
+50pts have at least one birthday party for each offspring. So either when they turn toddler, child, teen, adult or senior. Just once.
+50pts have at least one life party for each offspring. Get into private school, graduation, uni grad, get engaged, stag / hen, wedding, baby shower, anniversary
+50pts map out a life for the sim. Friends? Hobbies? Interests? Values? Passion? Who they are, what they stand for, what they aspire to.. & stick to IT!
+150pts make clubs / cliches / networks / guilds and decide what sims fit what grouping. Make community lots for each or designate one as the hangout.
do they wear a certain type of clothes? Do they work in the same career field? Do they have the same interests? What brings them together?
+40pts set business hours for each community lot and stick to them. [I don't know any store other than 7-eleven that is open 24/7]
+50pts ROS once a year +100pts once a season +250pts once a season and it is all negative [roll action brings no point deductions]
+75pts create hoods in the hood. Take Vancouver, BC for instance. We have Kitsilano {rich/beach} Commercial Drive {hip/up&coming} Hastings {poor}
do the creatives live there? The career driven? The families? The younger crowd? Price the lots / houses accordingly. Make a skid row up to Mansions.

I like this! My attention span is almost always too short for me to ever finish a 10 generation legacy (it doesn't help that tomorrow I'll start university, so of course the perfect timing to begin a new Sims game), but this is tempting enough for me to at least want to try

Well look at that twins again, this is the 3rd time I started this challenge and have gotten twins on the first try.

This is the first time I got twins girls, normally I get 1 boy and 1 girl so the one on the left is Cornelia and the one or the right is Agnes.

Robert Crumplebottom, male to carry the family name foward.

Prudence got a big bonus and was able to pay off the loan on the house and buy a new car with the rest.

*squeals I am so excited that this challenge was approved and that to my surprise Marka93 has already started! So excited.

Marka93 : indeed! I'm almost tempted to start over... A hood with no townies though is awesome but in later generations I think everyone will become family through marriage that your going to need a townie or two. Very cool hood though playing the ancestory! I'm not familiar with some of the names. Danders? Marsh? Could you tell us about the family tree?

Carooh : you should join in for sure! I know my attention span is bad too. I like to create new things all the time. But just imagine all the dramatic story telling pleasantview would provide.

Here is how I matched people up...

Mary-Sue & Daniel
Daniel broke up with Kaylynn, rejuvenating their marriage, had twins [Morgan & Levi], He left his job as the coach to be a stay at home dad.

Angela & Dustin
I know, how original, but Angela did marry an old townie guy who died before finally getting with Dustin

Lilith & Dirk
Lilith ran away & lived in a cabin, meeting up with Dirk, got pregnant, drop out. Dirk left her but then came back & married her

Dina & Mortimer
Dina owns the fine dining restaurant. Mortimer is young again. He created the [Elixir of Life] in search for staying alive for Bella.

Darren & Kaylynn
Darren took the last name Langarek.

Brandi & Benjamin
Brandi had an affair with John Burb. She was lonely and he was too since he was going through empty nest with Lucy gone since he was a stay at home dad. They both met at church. Jennifer, John's wife is the Pastor. It wasn't until Brandi became pregnant that they realized they couldn't do this anymore and received help from the deacons of the church for counselling. It was agreed that since Brandi didn't have the money or the ability to stay at home with the baby, that John & Jennifer would raise the baby and Jennifer adopt. Jennifer found it hard but she forgave him, embraced the baby and they are happy.
Brandi lost respect with Dustin when he found out but Beau and Riley seemed more understanding. After awhile she met a townie named Benjamin and got married.

Bella Goth
phoned her up and moved her back to pleasantview. Strangely, she is still young.

Beau Broke & Alexander Goth
they met in high school, went to college together and then moved out together

and last... well this is a bit hard to explain and heck you may not want to read. [adult] I'm a bit wacky sometimes going far fetched.

The big love triangle, Nina & Don | Don & Cassandra.
I believe that Nina understands Don because she is a romance sim herself. However, she did break it off with him but they had trysts resulting in unplanned parenthood. 3 to be exact. He married Cassandra and moved into the Goth Mansion. He tried to be true, but couldn't. He felt the weight of Mortimer's glare and the expectations of Cassandra for a family and love. He felt boxed in and rebelled. He used Mortimer's money and bought a nightclub. He told Cassandra he was working hard to provide a future for their family which they did have 2 kids, but he mostly used it as a way to pick up chicks. She hardly saw him, she was a stay at home mom for the early years. He was busy. She was so obsessed with loving him that it was stifling him. Don does love Cassandra but not in a deeply romantic way. However, Nina was always the one he would go to. So he left Cassandra, divorced her, they had their day in court, child support figured out, 50 / 50 divided and he moved in with Nina. Now Nina had taken on escorting shall we say to pay the bills and support her 3 kids. So Don and her had an open arrangement which worked best for both romantic sims. However, after awhile Nina got older and decided to stop her nightly visits. Her kids were not so young anymore and they would put two and two together. So Don and her settled into family life still with romance on the side. Cassandra wouldn't let go of Don. Mortimer had forbid her to see him but she just knew that she had to be with Don.

[See, Don was the only one when she was a teenager, in high school who looked her way. She was a nerdy academic with thick glasses and pigtails. She dressed really old fashioned and weird. No one paid attention to her and then the day that Don noticed her it was like a ray of sunshine floated down from the heavens on her. Her whole life lit up. With Don around her, people started to notice her. She felt dazzled when he gave her even the smallest attention.]

So wanting to have Don in her life, and for her kids to have their father, she did a desperate act. She told him that she wanted to be with him no matter how it happens and in what way. Seeing Cassandra so torn and how his leaving her had devastated her life he decided to talk to Nina and she agreed, being the open romantic sim she is, Cassandra and her kids would move in with them. So yes, Nina, Don & Cassandra with their offspring live together. Nina & Don share a bedroom upstairs, and Cassandra & Don share a bedroom downstairs. They pooled their resources and live in a pretty nice house. For awhile, Cassandra hated it but would do it just to be with Don. She saw Nina as the enemy but would keep that to herself until one day she realized she liked it. Her kids had other kids to grow up with, they had a big house with everything they needed, she realized if it wasn't Nina it would have been someone else because Don is a lover. She liked that she had a big family and independence since someone was always able to watch the kids. In addition to her being happy, Don and Nina were too. With no restrictions they both felt they could have all they wanted. Later in life they really settled down into family life with 5 children in the house and work that not many outside lovers happen. [current situation]

Daniel was with Kaylynn because she understood him. He didn't want to have to act like the macho athlete guy, the stereotype of a sports coach when he felt more feminine. However, once he broke it off with Kaylynn he told Mary-Sue everything. She accepted his feelings and after that he wore longer hair and makeup. [If I could find men's women clothes he would wear them too] Herb, Mary-Sue's dad and the deacon of the church was already upset about his affair and then with Daniel's transformation he was quite against Daniel and wouldn't look his way. Daniel made a great stay at home dad. He was very emotional when the twins moved off to university.

In the time line I have all of the 2nd gen born with a few of the 3rd gen already born and will have to wait on them to let the 2nd gen catch up. (For this challenge there all 2nd gen.)

Not only am I using Maxis made but deleted sims that I fixed and brought back to life I am also using all Maxis houses from both Sims 1 and Sims 2.

I will use this post for all 2nd generation child pictures.
When they become teenagers I will do make overs to match how EA/Maxis has them. I have decided to leave them as they are until they grow up to adulthood.

So I decided to give this a go.

At the start I had a bit of trouble figuring out what to do with the Oldies: While they already have grandchildren at the start of the game there is no heir to the family name. And with them being elders that's not very likely to change. I could have changed the last name of one of their offspring (e.g. if Mary Sue would find out about Daniel's affair she could divorce him and change her last name back to her maiden name) but that felt too cheaty. Of course there's always adoption but even if they'd adopt a child (as opposed to a toddler or baby) they'd probably both be dead before the child reaches adulthood.

And then it hit me and they ended up being the first family that I've played for this challenge So here's some pictures of the Oldie's week under the spoiler:

Played the Pleasant's first week. Note that I use Tarlia's fixed neighborhoods which got rid off the pre-scripted events. So Mary-Sue didn't get fired/demoted and is still blissfully unaware of Daniel's affair with the maid.

Since this is the last post I will use this one to upload pics of the Tricou sims that will marry the extra Pleasantview sims.

To start it out with Don Kosmokos (aka Orion Teens) without the makeup he starts out with and he will marry Frida Goth. (I might change his last name to Tricou but I am not sure yet.) Update, I went ahead and changed his last name to Tricou and will also do it for the other male teens, the female Tricou teens will carry the last name of the extra Pleasantview sims.

Some info, After both Frida and Agnes did the scope room they both went and flirted with there lover all by themselves so they told me who they wanted.

Pictures of the Burb's first week under the spoiler

I'm currently planning to start a new game in Pleasantview, so I might try this - just one question though, are worldbuilder types who wouldn't touch "realism" with a ten foot plumb bob welcome here? Because that's definitely the way I play, I love creating different cultures and customs for my hoods and hate trying to recreate modern earthly life. If that's perfectly fine, I will quite happily join in and ramble on about my personal headcanon till the cowplants come home.

Also decided to try this, just finished the first rotation:

Goth :
As usual Cassandra's wedding was a disaster. After that she decided to get a makeover and went on rebound, starting an impormtu relationship with Darren Dreamer (she even moved in with him and Dirk). Mortimer meanwhile caught Dinah in bed with Don and called off his own engagement to her. He then tried to romance Coral Oldie, but she wouldn't have any of it After that he pretty much gave up and committed himself to studying music instead, both on the piano and, strangely enough, the synthesizer. Alexander slowly came out of his shell after becoming a teen and is amassing a surprising amount of friends. The biggest problem will be that I can't send him to university after Mortimer passes on without losing the Goth Manor, so he won't go.

Pleasant :
As usual Mary-Sue caught Daniel in bed with Kaylynn and threw him out on the street. After that all three Pleasant women took to running the whole household by themselves. Mary Sure got a haircut and continued climbing up the career ladder. Lilith developed political ambitions of her own (she dreams of becoming Mayor) and Mary-Sue got her a part-time job as a door-to-door poller. Of course taking on such a public job Lilith had to tone down her Gothic attire considerably (she did however die her hair black). Angela meanwhile is doing well as home maker and gardener. On the last day of the rotation something unusual happened; Daniel waltzed into the house and sat down to dinner with his ex-wife and daughters. During this Daniel and Mary-Sue actually rekindled their romance...

Oldie:
This was something completely new to me... never actually played the Oldies much before taking on this challenge. However, presented with the dilemma to find a way to preserve the family name I had them adopt a kid; a boy named Gerard. For now they all get along very well with each other, I just hope he'll age up into a teen before both Herb and Coral croak. Would moving him and Coral to live with Mary-Sue cause me to fail the challenge?

Broke:
Brandie actually went into aspiration failure from changing the diapers of her third son (Buddy, I know, terrible name, but its meant to sound terrible and redneck). Aside from that nothing much iof interest happened, this is a family that will only get really interesting later on, like when Dustin marries Angela and the two of f them learn that, due to his criminal record, nobody will hire him...

Burb:
John and Jennifer both started working at a law firm... then of course Jenn got pregnant and eventually gave birth to their second daughter (Vanessa). John is also cultivating a Garden, like his bio suggests. John's life-time wish is to graduate 3 children from uni...I might even fulfill it.

Dreamer:
Cassandra moved in, married Darren and they had a son called Kent. With Darren now actually being a successful painter and Mortimer presenting Cassandra with a generous sum for a wedding gift, they were able to expand their house considerably. Cassandra is currently pregnant with their second child.

Langerak :
Daniel and Kaylynn moved into a seedy condo, Kaylynn got a job as security guard and later gave birth to twin girls (Rose and Melissa-May) this is Daniels second set of twin girls, after Lilith and Angela Of course Daniel rekindled his relationship with Mary-Sue behind Katelynn's back and even got engaged to his ex-wife. Finally he revealed this to Kaylynn and they broke up. I'm planning to move Kaylynn and her girls into an apartment in downtown next rotation.

Lothario and Caliente:
While drunk at a party, Don ended up making out with Nina, right in front of Dina's and Kaylynn's eyes, he also ended up knocking her up. Him being traditional like that he insisted that Nina would marry him so that their child would have his last name. It ended up a son named Ron. Meanwhile, Dina, realizing that nobody was going to just give her a life of luxury smartened up and started working in the Architecture career, as far as continuing her family name I have plans for her, she'll be one of the Sims I will put into unusual pairings I haven't tried before. But that's still a while off, I hope she'll have a desk job by then.

@Orphalesion you can merge households all you want with no problem.

@marka93 that's good to know, I'll start playing tomorrow and hopefully I should have a few stories to share soon!

Is anybody else still doing this? I came down with food poisoning IRL and used the time off to play quite a bit I'm currently in my fourth rotation, I believe, so a lot has happened:

Goth : Alexander became an adult and married Lilith Pleasant (one of my two "unusual pairings") they had twin daughters, Morgana and Delilah. Out of love for Lilith Alexander underwent treatment to cure his lycanthropy, however his time as werewolf fixed his eyesight and he doesn't need to wear glasses anymore. Alexander has just started the Adventurer career track, while Lilith is a Congresswoman (there's quite the age gap of course...) Right now Lilit just became pregnant again. I'm planning to move them into a bigger version of the Goth Manor before Lilith gives birth, of course I still have to build that one....

Pleasant/Oldie: Daniel and Mary-Sue retired from their jobs (Coach and Congresswoman) Daniel croaked and Mary-Sue went on holiday into the far east, in search for her lost cultural heritage from before her adoption by the Oldies. The search was a complete success she found inner peace and passed on in peace. Before they died, Mary-Sue's adopted brother Gerard Oldie moved in with them after Herb Oldie died of old age and Coral torched herself while trying to make Crepes Suzette. Gerard is a bad student but has a gift for music, which won him a scholarship. Currently he is still living in Mary-Sue's and Daniel's old house (Mary-Sue made arrangements in her will to allow that) until he leaves for college.

Angela and Dustin have two sons already: Dallas and Rex (again I'm trying for stereotypical hick names here) Angela is working towards becoming an Oceanographer (her bio mentioned that she wants to be the caption of a sailing boat, this seems to be the closest) while Dustin recently opened his own business.

Broke: Brandi recently became an Elder and is currently working as a sauce chef. Beau (still a teen) just started working as a Playground Monitor and started a relationship with a very pretty shop clerk named Michelle (my first townie wedding, there was literally no other way :-/) Buddy meanwhile made moves on Cassandra and Darren Dreamer's oldest son Kent. I hope they will be boyfriends soon :-) - Just for clarification, adopted children count towards the continuation of a family line, right?
Once Beau grows up the family will move out of the trailer and into a proper house.

Dreamer: Darren is aging, he did not take well to old age and fell into depression for a while, but he is alright now. Cassandra meanwhile wworks as an Inventor. Dirk grew up, became a ruthless lawyer and married Dina Caliente (my other unusual parring). Kent became a teen and is in love with Buddy Broke, the youngest son, Scott is a shy, sensitive boy with a gift for music.

Burb: John is a balding lawyer. Jennifer is also a lawyer, but she's not balding. Lucy is going steady with Gerard Oldie and preparing for college. Vanessa is shy and sweet, adopted son malcom is a trouble maker. Not much else here, I'm afraid. John has a huge garden, but I'm currently looking for a bigger house for the large family.

Caliente: Dina and Dirk became a power couple, she is speedily becoming a star architect, while he is on the rise in his law firm. Eventually I plan for them to buy one of the larger more luxurious houses, their first child is a daughter, Maria, but I plan at least one more child.

Lothario: Don and Nina are drowning in chaos and depths; Don lost his job, Nina's music career failed to take off. Their two sons, Ron and Michael, are pretty neglected, but Don still makes an effort to be a father to them (more so than Nina, who spends most of her time flirting with the many bachelors that live in their apartment building) Don would probably do the same, but there are just no single ladies around....

Langerak: After Daniel left her and returned to Mary-Sue Kaylynn moved with her daughers (Rose ad Melissa-May) to the city and became a police woman, she is currently member of the vice squad. Perhaps I'll find Kaylynn a nice townie later on, but for now she is completely happy as a mother and a policewoman.

I have to say this is really fun, I'm already planning the merriages for newborn babies in order to get as many bloodlines connected as possible

I am still doing this but I am in a slump again and will not be able to play for a few more days.

Cool, how did you get her to be blonde? Usually even with Skip's genes restored to the baby Brandi's black hair would win out. Did you give Brandi recessive genes in SimPE?

Genes and phenotypes are another interesting aspect of this challenge; assuming as few townie merriages as possible I'm curious to see if any gene will have "died out" by the end of the challange, right now there's no Sim in my Pleasantview with bright blue eyes and the only ones with grey eyes are Brandi and her third son, both of which won't have any (more) biological children (since the son is gay in my game) So unless one of y Sims marries a townie with bright blue or grey eyes those two colours are gone from my neighbourhood haha.

Anybody ever notice that there are positively hordes of green eyes Sims in Pleasantview? Even more so since Kaylynn Langerak is included.

I am doing this but I'm so slow going. I can spend a whole night having a conversation between two sims. I'm a lil crazy like that. I rp it out in my head and love the drama. It's like a soap opera that I control. haha.

Wow, I'm impressed with how quickly you two are progressing. Love the stories and the new dramas unfolding. haha, Mortimer trying to seduce Coral. funny.

Just for clarification, adopted children count towards the continuation of a family line, right?

I would say so, but in a way it feels less legit and much less risk of losing a last name if at anytime you can adopt a child in if you made a mistake.

That's understandable I sometimes get very involved into some aspects of my Sims game as well. This might demonstrate it:

Since Pleasantview was getting kinda full and downtown isn't that nice a place to live I added a custom commercial district called "Kingston" and slapped down a few public lots from the lotbin onto "Main Street" and among them was the Sky Arc Spire from BV. So why was there a Far Eastern Monument in an otherwise Western city? Well I decided that in the 1800s Kingston was actually a thriving community of immigrants from the Far East. Then in the 1940s, when Aliens first started appearing there was an usual large number of UFO sightings in Kingston and the military seized that land to conduct research. Receiving no compensation The "Kingston Sims" became a marginalized group within Sim City. Mary-Sue was actually a descendant of Kingston Sims and worked her whole career to have the area returned to public settlement. Lilith finally succeeded in doing so and even helped creating a program that would help descendants of Kingston Sims to return to the area. However since most of them have left Sim City since then the only one so far who has taken advantage of it was Lilith's own sister, Angela who moved there with Dustin who opened an electronics store there. But at least the Sky Arc Spire (the last surviving building of the original settlement) has been restored and has been returned to the public.

Anyway haha on to my latest rotations:

Goth: built the new Goth manor, based on the one form Sims 3. Alexander and Lilith had a third daughter, Elvira. So now they have three daughters; Delilah (who I have decided will be Aro/Ace when she grows up, so no kids from her) Morgana and Elvira. I just love giving the Goths weird names haha. I can already see the "Goth Sisters" becoming positively infamous when they grow up.

Pleasant: As I said Angela and Dustin moved to Kingston and opened an electronics store. After initial problems I'm surprised how easy it is to earn money with businesses... It's just a lot of work and I might retire them to a nice little beach house soon. Dallas and Rex unfortunately turned out to be clones of each other (stupid First Child bug...grr...) but I suppose even in real life siblings can look very similar to each other.

Oldie: Gerard is currently studying in college, his LTW is to become a Rock God and I want to fulfill it. He has become engaged to Lucy Burb. as the only two (non-related) brown haired Sims in the neighbourhood they are destined to have a lot of children, just to safe brown hair from extinction

Dreamer: Darren is dead. Cassandra adopted two cats (Severus and Snow) and has been talking to Don an awful lot recently...until something happened (see Lothario below) Kent and Scott are teens and almost complete opposites of each other; Kent is outgoing, brash and materialistic, Scott is shy, sensitive and nerdy.

Caliente Dina and Dirk moved into a house and had a second daughter, Catalina. I really regret not pairing them up in any previous play through since I took a peak at how their daughters are gonna look as teenagers (by exporting their appearance in Simpe and looking at them in photo shop) and both of them are probably the most beautiful Sims I've ever had in my game. Which is odd since I consider Dina quite unattractive.

Burb: I moved the family to the farm house that came with Seasons and John (who is going to age up soon) now has a gigantic garden with lots of apple trees. I actually wanted a cherry orchard as a reference to the Anton Chekov play but sadly there are no harvest-able cherry trees in the game... Jennifer, frustrated that John is touching the garden more than her has been flirting around with her co-worker...Dirk Caliente... (will Dina find out what it feels like to be cheated on first hand? tune in next time to: These are the Sims of our Lives) Dirk seems to have it in for MILFs, btw he also has a strong attraction to Cassandra, his own stepmother haha.
Lucy is at Uni discovering herself, Vanessa is going steady with Scott Dreamer, Malcolm is still a kid and as it turns out I won't be able to marry him to one of Kaylynn's daughters, since they are his cousins...d'oh!

Broke: Beau just aged up and married Michelle, they moved out into a little house and Michelle is currently pregnant. Brandie is a Executive chef and recently adopted a puppy. Buddy is now going steady with Kent Dreamer.

Lothario: Don and Nina got taken by aliens and never came back (not really I had them abducted and then shuffled them into the family bin, they are however considered "abducted" like Bella for the purposes of the storyline) thankfully Ron was already a teenager, he now lives with his brother Michael in a very small, very sparsely furnished hovel.

Langerak: Kaylynn is now a Lieutenant, Rose and Melissa-May are teens Rose is watching Ron (who moved in next door) with interest, while Melissa-May is too shy for romance but has aspirations to move to Kingston (which is located at the shore) and become a Marine biologist.

The next generation is gonna get hard, slowly everybody seems to be closely related to one another...

I think I'll start this with my Pleasantview story hood and scrap the story (it wasn't going that good) Gen 2 already exists.. and he's the illigeitimate child of Don Lothario and a CAS sim. I'll just modifiy it so my CAS sims are counted as another premade family... Heh.

So didn't have as much time so the update took a while haha.

Goth: Lilith is now Mayor of Sim City. Yay! The girls are now all children and I added a pool and party deck to the manor for Lilith's suarez and campaign parties. In the extended Goth villa the three girls share a bedroom, but have a large, adjacent nursery/playroom. I also got the girls into Private School. Delilah is surprisingly social for having only one point in Outgoing.

Pleasant : So Angela and Dustin were able to retire to a nice beach house (I didn't really enjoy playing a home business) I changed Dustin's aspiration to family and now he basically became a complete beach bum, rolling wants about swimming, sun bathing and builsing sandcastles every single day. Angela is still working in the Oceanography career. They also got a third kid; a girl named Deborah. It's weird the two boys are blonde like Dustin, but the girl has Angela's red hair.

Oldie : I'm sorry but I'm using hacks to shorten Uni, it's just too. damn. long. So Gerard graduated, married Lucy Burb and they got a little house in downtown. Their first child was a boy named Samuel (I plan to marry him to one of the Goth sisters, probably Elvira) And Lucy is pregnant with the second kid. Her LTW is to marry off six children. Should I dare to attempt it? That would be more kids than I ever had in a single family...

Dreamer: basically waiting until Kent grows up so I can marry him to Buddy Broke. Scott's a teen and I have paired him off with Vanessa Burb. Cassandra's an Elder by now.

Caliente Dina's an elder, I hope she'll live long enough to see her daughters grown. Dirk has reached the top of the Law career (!) that's the fastest I've ever fulfilled a LTW... The older of the girls, Maria became a teenager, she's flirting with Dallas Pleasant (I'm planning to marry the Caliente Sisters 2.0 to the Pleasant Brothers)

Burb: Dirk saw Jennifer making out with her husband and he's feeling so betrayed that he simply has to come to the Burb's farm several times a day and kick over their garbage can >_> John and Jennifer are aging, and it looks like Jennifer is going to die sooner than John...which is curious they both aged up in Gold Aspiration. Vanessa is soon off to college. I'm currently trying to find a nice townie girl for Malcolm. Also it turns out Malcolm's so ugly that his face could stop a clock. Probably not going to give him that many childrens.

Broke So last time I married Beau to Michelle, one of the shop clerk NPCs. She is a black woman with brown hair. So what does their son, Andrew, look like? Pale as paper, blond and blue eyed... Well I dunno what's going on here but I think the game is trying to prevent me from introducing diversity into my neighbourhood. Anyway Beau is a teacher, Michelle is working in the Supernatural career trakc as a tarot card reader, they are doing well, I might be able to move them into a bigger house soon.
Brandie meanwhile croaked (she aged up badly) Buddy graduated from college and is now working as an aspiring actor. The dog was sadly taken by animal rescue while he was at college. Really didn't expect Brandie to die so quickly...

Langerak/Lothario: So Kaylynn, now Police Chief realized that there were two orphaned boys living next door and took them into her home. Thankfully she was able to afford a new house in Pleasantview. Her daughters are teenagers, and so are the two Lothario boys, so naturally there is quite a bit of...lovering as Louisa May Alcott would say. What do you call a love triangle with four parties involved? A love square? Doesn't sound right... Can't wait till somebody just happens to stumble upon somebody else...hehe.... The weirdest part is that Kaylynn is 100% fine with the whole situation...

I'm still enjoying this but I'm getting worried that it's just gonna become a matchmaking simulator after a while, any ideas to keeping the whole thing fresh? Drama is fun, but divorces spawn even more households than I already have and since Townie marriages are dis-encouraged and I don't really enjoy playing single households....

Don't focus on the matchmaking, just play like you normally play and only try to do some matchmaking when they become teens/adults. Well, that made my small 'hood playable.

For drama, for example, let a Sim have a child born out of wedlock and make the other parent discover it (there's a mod for that), the parents can divorce and keep living together (with fights in front of their children the hug they give their children when they cry because of the fights is adorable) because of lack of money, or there isn't any free house left in Pleasantview, or whatever suits the situation. Make children and parents enemies (let the children sell them spoiled drinks from that OFB drinking stall, they will immediately run to the toilet to puke ), let the families of Angela and Lilith become enemies (if you kept the fighting between them alive). Etc. With a little imagination in the game there's still endless possibilities. Have fun .

oooh there is one? The reason I don't do out of wedlock children is because nobody reacts to it, do you know what it is called or where to look for it?

I'm away from my siming PC for the week but since I've already completed week 2 and only posted about half of week 1 I thought I'd do a recap (without pictures because these are also on my other PC) of everything else that happened in these 2 weeks to catch up.

Caliente week 1: Nina got a job in the Slacker Career. She went on several dates with Don Lothario and ended up pregnant after one of those. Unfortunately she had a miscarriage. She recovered and continued dating Don as well as Daniel Pleasant. Dina was...there. Nothing really happened for her this week because right now my focus is is mostly on pairing Sims up and producing babies and she just doesn't have very good chemistry with anyone she met so far.

Lothario week 1: Don and Cassandra got married. Cassandra moved in with him. They went on a honeymoon in Three Lakes. Also lots of dates and woohoo but Cassandra isn't pregnant yet.

Goth week 1: I think I've mentioned before that I use Tarlia's cleaned Pleasantview, so Bella Goth is still around (though initially as a Townie). I moved her in and set her and Mortimer as married again. I kind of wanted them to have another baby just to see what their genetics would actually look like when mixed together but no luck so far despite much woohoo. Alexander grew up to Teen (Knowledge aspiration) and made it a habit of his to get abducted by aliens every freaking night (just stargazing, not searching for UFOs or summoning aliens). Since I have InTeen I was secretly hoping for an Alien Baby but that also didn't happen. So no new babies for the Goths this round.

Dreamer week 1: When I opened their lot for the first time Darren was immidiately like "screw EAxis starving-artist-plot" by filling all of his want slots with wants for four different jobs. He finally found a job in his LTW-career (Gaming) at the end of the week. Dirk didn't roll a want to have a job but I made him get one anyway because he always had the want to "earn money". He soon reached the top of the Teen-Athletics-Career. Not much else happened.

Langerak week 1: Technically Kaylynn didn't have a "week 1" because at that point I was still trying to figure out what I wanted to do with her and I hadn't made her a playable yet.

Oldie week 2: Benjamin grew up to Adult (Family, LTW to reach Golden Anniversary). Originally I was thinking about pairing him up with either Brandi Broke or Dina Caliente but then I got curious what his chemistry with Kaylynn would be so I let his parents hire her. Turned out they are natural triple-bolters which sealed the deal for me. I can never resist triple bolts. Herb died shortly after Benjamin grew up which hit Coral pretty hard. Fortunately she was in platinum aspiration when it happened so even after a -5000 points aspiration hit she was still in (low) green. Benjamin started dating Kaylynn and they were in love and engaged in no time. So she moved in with them and they had a wedding party with their (or rather his) whole family on Sunday: Angela and Lilith would try to beat each other up all the time, Daniel got mad because he caught Kaylynn "cheating" with Benjamin, and Mary-Sue left before the wedding ceremony even started because of pregnancy induced motive failure. I have no idea why this party scored as a "roof raiser" but it did. Benjamin took on Kaylynn's last name which means that I'm without an heir to the Oldie name again. I guess I'll have to have Coral spawn another Plant Baby next time.

Pleasant week 2: Mary-Sue and Lilith managed to become enemies while I was playing another lot. Baby Raphael was born who has Mary-Sue's black hair and Daniel's green eyes. He gets along well with Mary-Sue, Daniel and Lilith but Angela can't stand him. Guess that answers the question who's the culprit in the twin's on going quarrel. Raphael grew up to Toddler and learned a toddler skill each from Lilith (Walking), Daniel (Talking) and Mary-Sue (Potty-Training). The twins left for college. Also Daniel's constant wants for dates and woohoo resulted in Mary-Sue being pregnant once again (not visible yet).

Burb week 2: Lana grew up to child. Lucy had her first kiss, fell in love, went steady and had her very first woohoo with Alexander Goth. John got a job (law enforcement) and both him and Jennifer (Military) got some promotions. Lucy and Lana got into private school. Jennifer opened a hair saloon on their home lot, without much success so far (I think it's level 1). The Burbs don't know it yet but there will be a new baby next rotation.

Broke week 2: Mia grew up to child. The Gypsy came by and dropped off a Genie Lamp which Brandi used to resurrect her dead husband. He has green eyes btw so I have no idea where their children all got their dark blue eyes from. They quickly fell in love again but while Brandi immediately rolled the want to get remarried Skip still has some commitment issues. Beau grew up to Teenager (Popularity). The trailer was quite crowded with 5 Sims living in it but thankfully Dustin moved out to college at the end of the week. There's already another baby on the way though so things won't improve for long. Especially since Skip and Brandi both fear having another baby right now.

Caliente week 2: Nina continued to date both Don and Daniel. One of these dates resulted in another pregnancy for her. If all goes well this time the baby (whose father is Dabiel Pleasant btw) will be born next rotation. Dina wanted to get a job and since the "revive dead husband"-plot seems to go well for Brandi she's started working in the Paranormal Career. Right now she's one promotion and about 3000§ short of being reunited with Michael.

Lothario week 2:: Don was a surprisingly good husband, content with just dating and kissing and woohoo-ing his wife (at least once I took care of his locked want to woohoo Dina Caliente). Soon Cassandra was pregnant and they moved to a bigger house which turned out to be a good move on my part when Cassandra gave birth to twins. Two girls, Aurelia and Amelia, both with skintone 3, black hair and brown eyes (which was to be expected considering their parents' genetics). As soon as they aged to Toddlers Cassandra rolled the want to have another baby while Don rolled the corresponding fear. Well Don, if you don't want any more babies maybe you shouldn't woohoo with your wife any chance you get? Cassandra was pregnant again in no time.

Goth week 2: Bella and Mortimer woohoo'd frequently but no pregnancy. Bella is now to old to have kids (yeah, I've bent the "no-aging-cheats"-rule for her because it just doesn't make any sense that she's younger than her own daughter. So I set her at least as halfway through the adult life span when I moved her in). She will age up on the first day of the next rotation. Alexander maxed out his logic skill and isn't as obsessed with aliens as before. Only one abduction this time (still no pregnancy). Mortimer died at the last day of the rotation. He left money to his son and his wife but not to his daughter or granddaughters. Bella's wants after his death were "resurrect Mortimer" immediately followed by "ask Sim for date". Yes, Bella, I can see you're clearly heartbroken

Dreamer week 2: Business as usual. Some promotions and some stargazing on Darren's part (one day I will have an Alien baby in Pleasantview) but no abduction. Dirk left for college.

I wish I could play but I am in a dry spell and still have not been able to get out of it.

Okay, another rotation done!

Goth: The suggestion to have Lilith's and Angela's offspring continue their rivals is not possible anymore; the Goth sisters love their cousins and every other day they either have Dallas and Rex over at the Goth manor or visit them in their beach house. They all four have 90/90 or 100/100 with one another. At the end of this round Delilah and Morgana became teenagers. Morgana turned out to be extremely beautiful, Delilah has inherited most of Alexander's very sharp features. I added a sewing machine to the nursery (for Morgana, I envision her as an aspiring fashionista who will make all of her clothes herself eventually) while Delilah shows interest in the laboratory in the attic. Elvira is still a kid and the cutest thing; I added the Chinese tea set to the winter garden (mainly to give the room a purpose) and each day after school she rolls a want to serve and have tea, so each day after she comes home from school all three Goth girls (and/or whichever of their cousins happen to be around) end up drinking tea in the winter garden ^-^ Lilith is still mayor and I actually tried to have her and Angela become friends....but they are just too different... Alexander continues to chase his dream of becoming a Space Pirate.

Oldie: Gerard is climbing the Music career ladder ridiculously fast! They had to move to a larger house, because after Lucy gave birth to their second child (a girl named Diane) she got pregnant again immediately, the third one is a boy named Leon. But since she has the LTW to marry off six children I made her pregnant yet again. Good thing Gerard is soon going to be a Rock God, I don't know how they'd be able to afford all those children otherwise.
On that note, I don't know how I'm going to marry off all those children...haha

Dreamer: Not much happening here in the main branch, Cassandra is aging, Scott is aging and the cats constantly fight each other. In the side branch, however Kent has finally married Buddy Broke (now Buddy Dreamer obviously) Buddy is working in show business, Kent got a job in culinary. They were able to afford a nice house with a spare room for when they will eventually adopt. Now there is only one, slight problem; they hired a good looking, male housekeeper and Buddy rolls wants to flirt with him... dun dun dun!

Caliente: Dina is fastly approaching death... I don't get why she seems to have so few days as an elder, she was in Green as she aged up... Both Maria and Catalina are teenagers and are already going steady with the Pleasant brothers. The sisters are quite different from one another; Maria prefers to keep with her friends, while Maria is more content to spend time with her parents (or Rex) and very interested in sports.

Burb: Found a townie girl for Malcolm, it's the downtownie with the pigtails so I was actually planning on making Malcolm a troublesome punk but well it turns out his LTW is to become a General, so I devised a story where I first got him in trouble and then pretended that John and Jennifer sent him to military school to straighten him out. Still working on the getting in trouble part, so far he has snuck out two times and hasn't been caught yet. Jennifer was fired from her job and since she's an elder I can't get her a proper career again, she's not happy about that, not happy at all. John actually wants to retire, but now that Jennifer is without employment, that won't be possible. Vanessa is at Uni and majoring in politics (she wants to become the head of SCIA)

Broke I got to move Beau and Michelle into a bigger house, the reason being that the Gypsy Matchmaker dropped off the Genie Lamp and I had Beau wish for wealth. Their son, Andrew is now a child and...it's like he didn't get any genes from his mother at all, he's the spitting image of Beau as a kid... Michelle now has access to the Resurrection Career Reward... I'm itching to come up with a storyline that would involve her creating Zombies...but she's just too nice a person to create her own Zombie Slaves...maybe I'll keep the thing around in a dusty closet and hope that Andrew's children will be evil incarnate. Beau is a Highschool Principal.

Langerak/Lothario: So far nobody in the love dodecahedron has caught anybody cheating, but it's only a matter of time... Kaylynn is a bit too old by now to make her a Captain Hero, maybe the next generation will be able to fulfill that ambition.

Hey, sorry about my double Post.

So my neighbourhood was corrupted (my own fault for not using clean templates and that darn remote control car)

Had to restart only this time I'm using Bluewater Village as well and will try to keep those last names for the 10 gens as well.

Don't have as much time to play because IRL got busy again (yay! Actually really yay, was awful not being busy)

So far I have moved Bella back into the Goth House, married Cassandra to Malcolm Landgraab (!) and had Brandi Broke and Darren Dreamer start a relationship (can't wait to play that house full of kids when they marry haha)

Quick question: Would moving a Sim to college but not playing them until some others are old enough to join them be considered an "age cheat"?
I have to send Beau Broke to college in my next rotation or else he will be too old to go. But all the other teens have at least another week left so I'm not comfortable sending them yet. And I don't feel like playing college with just one Sim...

I started this and have around half the families through the first week. Couple new babies - Oldies, Pleasant. Will be back with a real run-down when I figure out all the scribbling in my notebook.

@Quietscheente - Yes, I see Angela, Lilith, Dirk and Beau going to college at the same time. Then perhaps Alexander, Beau & Lucy going at the same time. It's up to you. However, Dustin & Beau do happen to be brothers and there is a evident age gap.

@Orphalesion - oooh I like the idea of Cassandra landing a rich husband. With both their wealth combined they will be the richest couple ever! But didn't Malcolm marry a woman with pigtails? Divorced?

@PlatinumPlumbbob .. I believe the challenge is meant for playin Pleasantview with the families as they come shipped.

You say you don't want to create more CAS families to do ancestors. You don't need to. Just download Marka's Beginning Pleasantview. It has all the ancestors created for you. It's JUST the ancestors and none of the families that come shipped as it's a new user created hood. You do not even get the townies as he said he used clean templates to make his hoods.

Correct. You'd need to provide housin for them as there are none in the neighborhood.

Nope, Malcolm starts the game out as a Bachelor. Their courtship was quite...eventful and at one point involved Malcolm and Mortimer attacking one another and even at the wedding Mortimer refused to dance with Cassandra

interesting. I always see them as knowing each other, well a mixture. Does Mortimer Goth know the down and out Brandi Broke? hmm, not so sure, but it's like Brandi knows Dina and Dina knows Mortimer so some how they are all connected at a varying degree of acquaintance, friendship, lovers and even those that are feuding.

First, good news I am still doing this challenge.
Bad news is I lost the hood starting at post #15 and on, I did find a save at just after the pics were taken of the hood view in post #14.

Most of the babies are born and 3 are now teens, I will not retake any of the pics unless they have major changes in how they look but will put up pics when they age up to adults and on.

In post #14 the 2nd pic is where the hood is at at this time.
I have drop the Tricou part and will only go with the Pleasantview part from here on out. (I may use some of the Tricou's teens as partners to the Pleasantview kids but not all.)
I will continue to keep the secondary name carriers going with this challenge and may still do the 10 gen challenge.

Ok the first kids to age up to teen is the Pleasant household.

Its not a flirt because I have flirt locked on both after doing a check out sims option.

Well they have age up to child now so here are there pics.

Bob and Betty Newbie will have a male child to become the secondary name carrier for the Newbie family.

I went back in to play more in the Newbie house and to finish up Bob and Danny grow up and Betty comes up to watch and right after she gives Bob a family kiss. WOW
This is the first time I have ever seen none related sims doing a family kiss that was not done by me.

Darren Dreamer parents are now child age with Davis Dreamer in Pic 1 and Delilah Darong in pic 2 and 3.

Loren Darong the Darong name carrier is born and his mom could not wait to put him down, this is the first time I have ever seen the mom put the baby down so fast.

This is the first time I had a child grow up with an apron on.

And the Fiorello secondary name carrier is Isaac.

The largest bonus any of my sims have ever gotten, Mama Lothario gets 75k bonus for choosing bunny rabbits.

I have come to a decision that all the adults and elders except for Cassandra Goth will be very close to the same age, Cassandra Goth will be in the Dustin/Angela age group.

I just have one question.

One of the names that we have to keep is Langerak. I'm assuming that you're referring to the maid that Don Lothario, and Daniel Pleasant are having an affair with?

So we can just move her in to a lot, and get her pregnant, or have her adopt?

That I don't know of for I am using my The Beginning of Pleasantview hood and Langerak in not in it or any other townie or NPC that is in Pleasantview.

Langarek is just an NPC and to play her she must be invited to move in to one of the other families and then have her move out and have a kid out of wedlock.

So, I just finished playing with the Burbs.

In addition to Lucy, they now have 3 other children.

There's Dylan, their only son and eventual heir.

Then, there's the twins - Kelly & Lynn.

They also have a dog named Coco.

Their house is really crowded.

I just finished playing the Pleasants.

Daniel & Mary Sue are now elders

The twins: Angela & Lilith are now Young Adults, and will be attending Sim State University next round.

Before Mary Sue became an elder, she had a third child, that they named Andrew. Andrew will be the heir to the Pleasant fortune when he comes of age. He is currently a child.

I disagree. I think that it will be refreshing.

The rules do not state that heirs have to be male. You should be able to have your heirs be female, as long as they keep the family name going.

Your playstyle will be unique, and you should keep us updated about the goings on in your neighborhood.

Do I have to start the families as they were before the game? As in, they have no kids yet? Is it alright if I have my own families that were already there before the challenge started? I have two or three custom families already. Should I include those in the challenge?

"Do I have to start the families as they were before the game?" No you do not have to start like I did, you can use the in game hood and have 2 gens already started. IE: Mortimer Goth as gen 1 and Cassandra and Alexander as gen 2.

" Is it alright if I have my own families that were already there before the challenge started?" Yes you can have your own families if you want to but you must follow the rules on the main names you must keep going for 10 gens.

Oldies
 

I've just finished playing with the Oldie family.

Herb and Coral adopted a daughter named Chris.

Chris might be the heir to the Oldie fortune when Herb dies.

Sadly, Coral died a couple of days before Chris became a teenager.

All the main named teens have gotten there first kiss, Frida Goth picked Brian Marsh as her lover and will help carry the Marsh name forward.

Agnes Crumplebottom still has not chosen but she will in the next week of play.

I am waiting on finding the secondary name carriers mates this last week of teenhood.

I was on a Goth family outing with the Crumplebottom's when Tango comes on the lot and head straight to the Tricou teen, he talk to her for a while and they played a few games then he leaps into her arms, choice made so on to the next secondary name carrier.

Danny Simovitch has made his choice of a downtown teen name Jeannie Darga, they will carry the Simovitch foward.

The only 2 teens I know of that have tank tops on, Danny grew up to his and Jeannie has always had the tank top in my games.

There may be more teens with tank tops but I can not remember any at this time.

I've been meaning to update on my progress since forever but never got around to actually doing it. Now it's been 4 rotations (=28 in game days) since my last post and there's no way I'll recap everything that happened. But I can show you some pictures of what the families look like right now.

Wow that is so creative! Plant spawn of Coral Oldie meaning you keep the name in the game! awesome. I never thought of that. Really cool update. I love all the hairs you have especially for the guy sims. It's nice to see you brought some of the key dead sims like Michael and Skip.

I've decided to start this challenge, and I've put all the names in a random order generator to decide the order of my rotation. It's : Broke, Lothario, Goth, Dreamer, Pleasant, Burb, Caliente, Langarek, Oldies. So far I've only done Broke & Lothario / Langarek.
Broke
I always struggle with playing the Broke's because the struggle is always so tedious to me and usually Brandi seems annoying to me. This time, I don't know why, she just pulled at my heart. Early on she lectures Dustin for his grades in front of Angela and Angela kisses him afterward and almost seems to cheer him up. It makes me think&plan for Dustin to want to be the kind of man Angela deserves- perhaps because he realizes he could and maybe should lose her... Beau grows into a child and takes upon most of the cleaning while Brandi is pregnant. Brandi gives birth to a baby boy named whom I named Tyler. Things began to turn around for the Brokes and the boys got A+ report cards as Tyler aged into a toddler. Brandi began to casually see Darren Dreamer (met as he was walking by) during Tyler's toddlerhood and he aged up at the end of the week.
Brandi's predestined hobby is Arts & Crafts in my game, I found out because I bought her a pottery wheel as something to do while she waited for the baby while the other two were at school. This made me start thinking of her and Darren as a couple with a very cute gallery of paintings and pottery, and they do seem to have a lot in common- even their sons have something in common (their taste in women, badum tsss!).
Lothario / Langerak
Don moved Kaylynn Langerak into the home and their romantic affair became very heated very fast. On an added benefit, his home also became very tidy. I don't think Kay is really looking for love, if she were she wouldn't be with two different, involved, men. I think I know what she wants. She found out she was expecting about halfway through the week. Don made it quite known that as far as he was concerned they wouldn't have children together and this child would remain fatherless so that he could go on to marry Cassandra. Alone, while Don was at work, Kay gave birth to a healthy pair of twins! Named Hollee and Brayson, Kay was ready to begin her little family. Don hardly noticed the newborns when he came home with his second promotion that week. He went straight to bed and the bonus money was siphoned by Kaylynn to build a small nursery attached to the back of the first floor.

Next is Goth, where hopefully Don will be a major feature as well.

In Closing
I am trying to start with a "fresh" generation, so that the existing sims can be Gen X/0 and anyone who was teen or younger can be my Gen1s, that way I can kind of form these legacies [so called] fresh. I'm thinking of incorporating different legacy challenges (like the DITFT, or the Alphabet Legacy, etc) to keep me interested as time wears on. With these big challenges sometimes the families blur together so I want each to have their own 'theme' and generational rules. Right now I am setting that whole system up so I haven't started keeping points or really doing much toward the "challenge" part for me. The only Fresh Start I'm waiting on is the Caliente baby. Otherwise, I've got Alexander for the Goths and so on, and all the other families have had a few spares thrown in to also help flush the population so later inbreeding doesn't become a huge issue. If the trees spread out early on there should be plenty of branches to chose from later on.
Dustin Broke & Dirk Dreamer are going to Sim State Uni. The Pleasant Sisters & Alexander are going to Academie le Tour. They are going to be the start of my next rotation.
Eventually custom colleges will be built but for now I'm doing piece by piece renovations of different places and things.
I've also decided to keep a small census and install a more vast range of geneticized skintones O_O In other words, I am digging deep into this. My census will include Birth (rotation #/or age group at rotation1), Death (rotation #), Heritage (family blood lines in the person- ie, dreamer & broke for Brittney). I may add other information I want to keep track of as well.

I'm going to do this in my megahood so that means ALL surnames will have to survive...

Just a question before my foundations for each of these legacies is laid and I truly start this, what is a ROS?

This sounds like fun! I love Pleasantview and all the characters, so even if I don't finish this challenge, I'll at least have fun playing with it. Though, I'm going to add a bit to my version - I'm going to include Bluewater Village Sims as well, because I ship Dina Caliente/Malcolm Landgraab too much to not do that pairing. I'll post updates about my first rotation soon!

is it possible to do this challenge in a beginning mega hood? where all beginning hoods are combined?

I imagine it would be, however, I would never have the focus and concentration to pull it off. You could always try.

sooper-shoopy - I fully expect everyone to tweak the challenge to do what most fits their play style or curiosities. So go right ahead. Yeah, I agree, those two are a match made for each other! haha.

SenPain - random occurrence scenarios = ROS. This is a list of negative and positive things a sim is to do, numbered from 1 to .... You can use random.org to roll to see what number to use and then you have to do the action. So some examples are... Lose your job | Makeover your Kitchen | Get a new BFF | Buy a Car | Take up Painting for a week | Divorce etc. It's basically a way to allow spontaneous & random things to happen to your sims to keep you from getting bored. Google it and you should find a good list.

I have decided to start pleasantview all over again. HAHA.

So yup I totally understand sooper-shoopy. I'm the same way. Have fun till it is no more fun then move on. I find it hard to finish a big challenge like this. So it may take me a few.. hundred times. But that is what Sims 2 is all about, creation and evolution. Well at least for me.
