Thank you so much! I can't wait to see what people have done. I will not be posting the pics here since I have quite a few. But I will post the link to my albums. The first is from the journal of the Queen of Navaronne. The second is just some informational pics. They are public albums, so no one should have a problem viewing them. Thanks again!

I'm more of a modder than designer, but I'd love to help get this thing started. This is mainly just recolors of the original layout.

This is the Exalted Monarch Grim Reefer the First,

Yes, this is truely how I look .

This is his exquisite castle,

Slightly green, like me.

Here is the throne room,

Note:Tint changes are all due to the Set Color Tint interaction in my core.

Really Cool Pix guys! So Mr. Grim, Your Highness if I may, do you wear the crown when you go to Albertson's or do you just order the servants to go for you? And doesn't it play he11 with the headliner in your car?

Myrrh 26th Sep 2011 8:58 PM

I'll be adding more photos as I take them to my picasa album https://picasaweb.google.com/112614...feat=directlink

Wow, these are really great! I love to see the action shots you guys get. I'm too slow on the camera button and all I end up with is people laying on the ground smoking, or people yawning, or blinking.

These are really awesome.

Myrrh;
I'm getting an error page when I visit your albums, did you make them private or public? It says page not found.

Myrrh 1st Oct 2011 5:24 AM

I had just signed up for Picasa and didn't realize the default was set to private, thank you for letting me know it should be public now

You like working with yummy edible colors. Your rooms remind me of marzipan at Christmas. You do delightful work.

Moon Jaguar 3rd Oct 2011 12:37 AM

One of my bards, Saijirou, was doing a quest with my knight. Knight's not there. So Saijirou autonomously starts singing to the wash basin... and made 90 simoles from the wash basin!

Myrrh 4th Oct 2011 2:27 AM

Thank you! My favorite thing to do in the Sims is decorate, I spend hours on it :D

Here is the reception hall, this took me days because I couldn't get the colors right at first. Also, I found out that if you place some items via buydebug (like the flowers) in a room that the game will crash when trying to reenter live mode Lost several hours of work that way.

The attached kitchen:

Uwaaaah, Myrrh, you managed to make that cookhouse/kitchen/whatever-it-is look presentable-- and nice! I'm all thumbs at decorating whether it's in games or IRL.

Moon Jaguar 4th Oct 2011 4:58 AM

Never give a knight a fiddle. He'll upstage the bard and the jesters but won't make a single simole. (Fiddle skill added with Grim's core mod, Valya's hamminess is mainly autonomous).

Some shots of the new 'spare kingdom' in the Eternal Kingdom ambition, Chalcedony. A few of the shots are of the methods that I use to create some of these rooms and the furniture in them. But most of them are from King Ventri's castle. He's sort of a Guy's Guy. I wanted a castle that was all man without being stripped out or too butch. So I tried to make it as masculine as I could without getting too plain or downright ugly. I made it so someone like my son-in-law would enjoy it (minus the big screen TV of course). But the reception hall/auxiliary throne room is meant to be absolutely intimidating. More to my son's taste.

I love the bookshelf room divider, that's so creative and it looks great!

Thank you. I had to do something with it. It takes up so much space!

After reading an idea on a different thread, I decided to redo the Watcher's Pavillion. It now actually has a function. Thank you again Mr. Grim for the Core Mod. My Heroes can now have the benefit of fishing in the middle of a rug thanks to a fish spawner.

Moon Jaguar 16th Oct 2011 7:27 AM

Inspired by beautifully decorated lots, my fail-at-decorating self took a stab at redecorating the Wizard's Tower. Inari isn't human, only using human form for convenience, and he's blind in daylight so he prefers darkness and likes things semi-nautical without a bunch of salvaged helms or pirate paraphernalia, darker walls and less bright lights. The previous wizard, Rubexus Hagrid, who skipped town after being caught trying to cross a Pit Beast with a cow and an ivy, had left piles of books and melted candles, as well as a Pit Beast bud. He wasn't sure what to do with that baby beast but nobody else dared to keep it in their quarters so here it stayed.

The ground floor crafting table, archive, scryball thing and a bunch of crystal balls. His gyrfalcon, Shiroyuki, is on the Treasured Trellis perch. His black parrot, Kuroi, was hunting at the time. After getting tired of cleaning up bird poop and picking feathers out of his herb supply, Inari gave his birds to birdless sims and now keeps a skeletal parrot and mechanical falcon. The mechanical falcon sometimes poops rivets or washers but those are things he can use.

Second floor. Not quite finished yet, I haven't figured out what to put in that bare spot near the lion tapestry. What's that in the corner?

Don't ask him about this, he will curtly tell you it's none of your business at best, and at worst, mock you relentlessly and tell you to go away. It's rumored to be keepsakes from a lost love (explaining why he dislikes other sims so much) or something considerably more sinister. Maybe it's a lost and found table? Who knows?

Cooking, eating and reading room. The candles near the bookcase are for the use of regular humans, who are required to snuff them out when they're done studying or reading novels.

Myrrh 16th Oct 2011 10:26 PM

These were some of my earliest rooms from when I first started this kingdom, so they're not really well done. I didn't know about the key to raise and lower wall items lol or how to turn on moveObjects.

Knights Bedchamber - It takes a manly man to rock purple. He doesn't sleep here any more though, he married the wizard.
