Who do you dream about in terms of crushes?
 

For those of you who have the ability to have crushes, do you gravitate toward (a) certain person(s)?

As you may guess, I have a long list of crushes. :lovestruc

My first was Dr. Bill Nye as when I was 12, I was very fixated on genetic engineering and although he was a mechanical engineer for Boeing and is now the CEO of the Planetary Society, I find genetics to be interesting as I tend to see what could happen if Earth needed help with biodiversity restoration, such as with a breeding\colony restoration program for honeybees. (I grew up during the Colony Collapse Disorder Crisis)

Over the years, comedians, voice actors, athletes and musicians were added to the list.

Lately, I realized that Axl Rose would be a terrible match in terms of preliminary evaluation. He's emotionally stuck at 2 years old, going through the terrible twos and wetting his training pants if you were to compare him to a modern toddler. I mentally left him for Slash. Slash, or should I call him Saul, he's a very considerate man to think of his former co-worker and boss when he wished Axl and Duff a happy birthday.

Dana Carvey sometimes rotates into the line up of men to dream about. I realize he's stuck in his teen years and yet, they say you never really stop growing. For shits and giggles, I have his old partner Mike Myers involved with my madness, with the both of them kissing my cheeks, with Dana on my right and Mike on my left. Then again, if you were to refer back to the Sims 3 sub forum and were to peruse the "What's happening in your game" thread, I just might bribe them into making out with each other.

I guess I have to say that I have a healthy imagination for a 13-year-old girl trapped in a 27-year-old woman's body.

I had been having a bad year, so this might be the last thread to post for 2014 from me.

Do you mean dream dreams or fantasy dreams? I have a few crushes, but the actors and singers are married or dating someone in real life so my subconscious is an a-hole in terms of morality and I don't get anywhere with 'em. They just make appearances. Same with characters, it has to work with the story-line or it won't happen. My brain is working against me.

In other terms of crushes some of my main and rather odd ones over the years includes Ted Raimi, google him, and I quite fancy Richard E Grant for some reason, he's really charismatic. As far as character crushes, Spike from Buffy makes an appearance and he's one of the few that my brain allows to like me in my dreams. Sherlock appears but somehow I always screw it up. I've had the odd dream with Stephen Fry which is weird since I'm not his type gender-wise, not sure how that got through.

My main crushes now are Noel Fielding, Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy), Robert Carlyle, Colin O'Donoghue, and Michael Raymond-James. (Thanks, Once Upon A Time)

I'm an odd duck. Anyway, I'm sorry to hear about your year. My last two have been kind of shoddy so I'm right there with you. My Christmas was a bit of a disaster.

Well I had mine from video games. Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy 8, Cloud Strife and Vincent Valentine from FF7, Resident Evil's Leon Kennedy. Even now they give me goosebumps when I see their faces. Am I weird? Though I have one in real life. He's my coworker at the hospital

I also like Norman Reedus, David Bowie, Billy Drago was pretty hot in the 90s so I'll add 90s Billy Drago to the list (I like cheekbones.)

Generically, "Rich and not horrid to look at" always seems like a good start, along with "people so horrifying/unpleasant/unusual to screw that I would not feel an ounce of remorse for mistreating." Those go along with the general ones where the mood strikes me and I go "I bet everyone's jaws would drop if I showed up in bed with that person." You know, like Michelle Obama, me, and Ann Coulter wearing a leash? That one just popped into my head, I could probably go somewhere with that.
