First movie - characters!
Okay, so we thought about doing a 'Friends'-episode-style movie for our first project. It'll be our own original thing, including original characters who we may/may not base on ourselves a little...

This is a thread for writing, designing and making said characters. Anyone can do any of these things - the more help the better!

Actual plotting doesn't really belong here - there's a different thread for that.

So...ideas?

I'd actually like if one/some character/s would be based on us.
After watching sitcoms for so many years, I've come to a conclusion: that it's really funny to have characters of different "races" (black, yellow and white. I actually don't believe in the "races" term, but that's another topic), because the cultural impact between them generates comical situations. Of course, we'd have characters of different genders.

Yeah - that's a pretty good idea.

Oh, and I noticed your sig. I'll get round to changing the name.

I think everyone on the crew should have a character just for him/her. A character which could resemble you in some way, if not completely.

EDIT: I'm already thinking of a manly stud as me...

*is worried*

mine would have had to have escaped from a lunatic assylum to be anything like realistic.

We could have an escaped-from-asylum character. Why not?

I'd make myself, as an adult, in the character style of Rachel. What do you think?
*Wonders who will be Ross*
Oh, and which game? TS2 or TS3? I vote for TS3, although some ppl might not have it.

Like, whatever.

I'm a cross between Chandler and Ross, really, but in female form. With a smidgen of Phoebe.

I'm like Phoebe crossed with Rachel with a hint of Joey. And when I say a hint of Joey I mean I'm daft.

I just had to add that I'm daft just to clarify that I'm not like Joey in any other way.

Really? No awful acting skills? No insane bottomless stomach? No, "How you doin'"?

Hmm... yep, awful acting skills, but I'm not an actress. Insane bottomless stomach - yeah, kinda. "How you doin"... nope.

But when one of my friends says how many people are there, they usually say something like "5 people and Jessie." (Jessie's me). Like when Rachel said "There were five people and Joey" or something like that

I don't understand why everybody is comparing himself/herself to one of the characters of "Friends". We're not copying "Friends", we're just using the idea of a sitcom.

Well, it's probably a good idea to make our characters different from each other (like they are in Friends), and we're just trying to fit the 'roles' of each Friend. Also, it's quite fun.

I really do think it would be cool if one escaped from a lunatic assylum and another was obsessed with... something. I don't know what, maybe some celebrity or something like that.

Who's most likely to end up in an asylum out of all of us, then?
