Nice one Bruce, These are much more lifelike than the Maxis ones, If a 3 Year old or a Chimp could do them, what does it say about maxis ?

Seriously though , thanks guys , although you would be able to do these with ease with the SimPE recolour wizard Dunner . All the credit for that goes to Quaxi and the rest of the guys who help him for making Wizards of SimPE so easy to use :cheers: , because if I can do them then anyone can !

It seems the beige texture isn't showing up right. I'm going to install them again and have a look at it to see if I can figure out what might be going wrong. The other two look fine, Bruce.

It looks like the txtr file pooltable-feltcolors-feltpink_69c25b0b-c2bd-4d0d-a555-f9bae15e8608_txtr isn't being found in scenegrapher. I'm not sure why it's not finding the texture but the pool tables using the blue and green felt as a base are working fine.

Hmm , I downloaded a pink felt from somewhere and used that to make the recolour for the beige one because it was already a light colour ( I'm a lazy so and so

) so it's probably no coincidence that that is the one that doesn't work . Thanks for the info Thomas

I'll remake the beige one ( looking like beige hopefully this time

) and only use the Maxis colours to make the recolours in future . I'll probably add a few more colours too . I may have the remade beige one and a few other colours on here sometime later tonight , if not tomorrow .

You should know better than use something you've downloaded. Not only do some people find it wrong but you inherit all the problems from the original. As far as the uncheck the autoselect box ignore that. I just tried in my testing to see if it was the pink felt that was the problem and my recolor didn't show up without having that selected although I'm sure I could probably remove the table if I tried.

I know it was silly to recolour a recolour like that Thomas . I just did it for myself originally , and I didn't think about it when sharing it here as it was late and I was a little tired when I did so last night .

If anyone has downloaded the previous beige cloth I did please delete it and download and try the new version . I've also added 4 more colours for people to try . I hope they show up ok for everyone this time

I also should mention that it's best to leave in the duplicate table frames that get installed with the lighter green and blue cloth recolours . They are somehow linked to those cloth recolours and if deleted they also delete the cloth . Sorry about that . It 's probably best for me to leave them like that rather than redoing those 2 colours though because the chances of me reproducing the exact colours I made for them originally would be almost impossible and I think the current colours I made them look pretty authentic . The other 5 recolours don't come with duplicate cloths though so don't worry about having 7 duplicate frame recolours .

that would be a realy neat pool table
great job, I'd like to see some recolors of the table it's self too. black being my personal prefrance, but I can see uses for a lot of others too lol

very nice! And a chimp would probably have an easier time making this that a 3 yr old since most chimps have the IQ of a 4 year old!

Yes, pool tables come with university.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.
