This is an interesting selection of posters, thank you. But unfortunately, from what I can see of the actual in-game shots, it appears you have not taken into account Peynter's built-in cropping factor, which typically truncates the title text. (For some reason the JPG of the big collection is not showing up from me, but that is likely because I am working from a poor connection out of a hotel today). The actual workable pixel size of the Peynter Skyscape is only 210 pixels wide by 423 pixels high, as documented here.

For maximum clarity, it is best to use these "Olive Peynter" recolours with Deedee's and Quaxi's No Glare patch, available here.

Thanks for the link. I'll have to check it out later. I do, however, use a professional version of Paint Shop Pro for all my graphics, and therefore the glare is not the issue, nor is the cropping (my version autocrops images to exact scale).

It does confuse me though as to why, when placing the images on the walls, there does seem to be a sliver missing ... but not in the catalog area of the buy mode (at least not on my system). I tested these images on several types of walls and used many different wall coverings (just to be sure something like say, a rock texture, or custom wall covering would not 'bleed through' or 'poke through' the image itself).

Hmm... something to think about. Thanks! Apologies for you having to work from a hotel at the moment. I know exactly what that's like. Not fun. You have my deepest sympathies.

Hi cnj - are you able to view the inline picture or the large version of the second thumbnail? Actually its a nice hotel, but it starts to wears thin after six days. The Internet is a bit flaky, but I am puzzled that no matter what I cannot see those two images.

What I am referring to as far as cropping goes is if you look at Creature from the Black Lagoon in Thumbnail #3 you can see the whole poster. I presume this picture was taken outside of the game? But if you look at the same in-game framed picture in Thumbnail #4 you can see quite a lot of cropping.

This cropping is not a function of your Paint Shop program, but a projection issue caused by the game engine's action on the Peynter object - basically the texture mapping is very sloppy. So to get all of your picture to show you need to use a picture with the smaller dimensions mentioned above, and then position the active portion of the picture in the correct location, as described in my thread, and detailed in the downloadable framing kit.

Similarily the glare is nothing to do with your Paint Shop program, but is a function of the game object. The glare was designed to simulate a glass faced picture. But the effect is overdone, washing out the colours and producing a very pastel picture. You could try to compensate by oversaturating the colours, but I have found that to be quite tricky to control. The best solution is to use the patch, which has the effect of removing the glaring glass. I suspect that a lot of users already have it - it removes the glare from all Peynter recolours, as well as the original.

Hmmm....I don't know which program you used to extract them with, but at 3.19MB for the folder, and having re-checked it several times, there are indeed 10 pictures in the folder. It might be that the program you used only did a partial download, or that something happened during the download process.

Maybe if you delete the one you downloaded and try again using the Quick Express install? Dunno. Sawwy =(

Awesome!!! Just what I need for my drive-in movie theater. Now I just need some fake cars, for my sims to sit inside of and watch the movie. I used to have some old covertables that were perfect for this. I just used move objects on and put some chairs in them and worked perfect. But now I can find them,
Anyway, thanks for the movie posters.
