I know that our Sims can withstand pretty much anything, however I believe not allowing pregnant Sims to use hot tubs and the hot springs was on purpose. Hot tubs and hot springs are not good for pregnant women. Sitting in a hot tub or hot mineral springs can raise a woman's body temperature to abnormal levels that can be dangerous to a developing baby and the mother. Due to the risk of birth defects for the baby and health risk for the mother, most Ob-Gyn's would advise women to forgo them all together.

I realize this is a game and if Sims can withstand lightning strikes and fire, they will survive the hot springs too. I would be interested in knowing if this mod would trigger miscarriage for those who are playing with pregnancy mods that allow miscarriages to happen.

It is still possible for a sim to overheat I suppose that could trigger a miscarriage depending on the mod you are using.
