Very Intersting. Much better this emotion instead tense. Thank you very much, Nies!

This makes more sense than tense one.

Thank you so much! This makes ridiculously more sense. I was wondering if you could potentially make this in another 'flavour' (maybe +2, +4 and +6) since I have other things installed that tweak most emotional values to be stronger. Thus this sometimes get swallowed up! But it's such a brilliantly realistic change to make, so I'd like it to be visible. Thanks once again!

A huge over-site by EA. Boredom from lack of fun makes more sense. Thank you for making this.

One thing to look out for when large patch updates hit is that these types of alterations can, for whatever reason, sometimes cause load screen bounce back. I had it happen with an old version of a zerbu mod that altered which buffs motives give. Loading a family was fine but if any attempt was made to travel then the game would get stuck on loading. I do only remember this happening when Toddlers were introduced. Pets seemed fine.
Just thought I'd add that info in case you ever find it helpful.

Yes, I agree, because, the game must negotiate the Sims and lots that have moods also, it's all a search to download. The more the game is filled with Sims and lots occupied, the more complicated it becomes. For those who want a change of mood reactions, the personal trait is a good plan. One thing to finish on this subject is that all the mods that work on the whole game becomes a thing to manage en masse, be it the moods, the skins in default and others, once it 's applies to all the game, the game suffers in one way or another and this reduces performance.

Interesting thread, you two. Thanks for the input!
I'll look out to check if something's causing problems as soon as another patch hits us, but I also greatly appreciate anyone else to look out for problems.

This makes more sense than the default stressed/tense moodlet does!! Unless of course, you are studying for final exams or something, or trying to finish something by a strict deadline.

I got this because (echoing other people here) it does indeed make more sense. Thanks!

I wonder, though, should yellow Fun also cause Boredom? What do you think?

Does this still work with the May 24th patch?

EDIT: Thanks for the info. Hopefully it's okay. :D

This does make more sense. Why should you be tense when you have low fun?!?!?!

I love this idea, but are there any consequences to lack of fun now? When they're too tense it stops them from doing things--is there a way you could do that for very bored? Like, maybe a bored sim won't do housework or won't gain skill as quickly, idk, something? That might be more complicated tho...but I'm worried that fun won't really be a "need" in the game anymore.

Thanks for the answer! That's a great idea, but I feel like this would need me to do scripting, which I do not have any experience in. I am however going to ask the "creator pool" on Deaderpool's Discord about ideas and whether that's possible to do.

Wow, thanks, I really appreciate that! I hope someone does it, lol. It'd be so neat if they did--then I'd definitely download this mod for sure! I've actually been complaining about how low fun=tense (and how all the resulting whims do nothing to increase fun, lol) for ages, so I'm glad someone took some initiative to fix it!

Same!!

I have been talking to a few creators who can see that it is possible to do without having to script anything, so here is hoping I get into that soon-ish. :D

Neat! I always feel like, when I am not having fun, I tend to feel more bored than being 'tense' about it. Not sure why they made it tense in the game.

Does this still work with the Lunar New Year Patch?

UPDATE: And the StrangerVille pre-patch, as well?

Sorry for the bump, but this works with the Freelancer patch, according to SimVIP's Mod List.
