Edit: I was wondering if this would fix Multi PT from showing up in the relationship panel after getting a baby bump after an alien abduction? If not that's fine as I've read from BoilingOil on a different thread that it shouldn't be harmful.

Yes, they showed up there for significant others because of the code that makes them furious, and they showed up there for the pregnant sim because there is code that gives the father positive relationship towards them. Neither of those things should happen with this patch.

Hi, I have a couple of questions about this patch. For this section:

"If none of the pregnant sim's significant others could logically have caused the pregnancy, they do not need to pass a logic check to find out that the baby isn't theirs. The original hack only checks if the two sims have woohooed, I have added checks for gender, RCC toggled/untoggled status, RCC alien status, and the RCC global alien token. This won't work with PregForAllGenders, use the RCC and set the global alien token instead"

I'm an inteen user and so I use the same sex pregnancy flavour pack, meaning my same sex couples can get pregnant via Try for Baby. Would this patch recognise both parents or would there be issues with this?

Also, regarding this: "Note that if you end the pregnancy with the Sim Blender, PregRel will stop working for that particular sim for at least the next pregnancy." - does that include all methods to end pregnancy, eg. Sim Manipulator, Inteen bio clock, miscarriage?

If you want the effects of same-sex pregnancy for all, you should install the RCC and set the global alien token. Other methods of setting this won't work with this patch. RCC should be compatible with InTeen, I believe, you just have to download one of the packages that allows teen pregnancy and load it last. There just isn't a way of detecting other hacks that allow for same-sex pregnancy.

I only know for sure that the Sim Blender makes it stop working, other cheat objects/InTeen miscarriage might not have the effect. You should test in a test hood if you want to be sure. If you used the original PregRel and it worked with those methods, than this will also work with those methods.

Hi, I have an error message that is related to your mod and I think I may know exactly why. It involves my pregnant teen and the What Caused It program says the problem is the BHAV: 0x1112 behavior titled: Change Perents Relationship. The word parents is misspelled in the mod and I think this is what is causing the glitching. This is the first time since using your mod that I got an unmarried teen pregnant so this is the first time I encountered this glitch.

I don't know what you mean by it being misspelled, it seems fine to me and anyway the names of the BHAVs are just for documentation and don't actually have any effect on how the mod works.

To confirm, I'm guessing this is for a pregnant sim that only has one parent?

Oh dear, this didn't work as expected. I had a male Servo married to a male elder Sim. I got the male elder Sim alien-pregnant with BoilingOil's multi-PTs. I got a BOING and the Servo is now angry.

To test it wasn't a load order issue, I put both hacks in the same folder in /Downloads/zz.Hacks/zzz.Pregrel/

A few nonstandard things that may have caused failure:
- The pregnant Sim was an elder, who normally can't get pregnant.
- The angry sim was a Servo, who normally can't impregnate.
- Both Sims are male.
- I used Sim Manipulator to impregnate the elder Sim.

So I pulled both of them temporarily and... it still happened. Some googling showed that the relationship changes are baked-into CH's alternate pregnancy controller itself. Can this patch account for that?

The alternate pregnancy controller is a completely separate thing than the EA pregnancy controller and thus modifications to the EA one don't affect it, yes. As just recently stated in this thread, the Wild Child version will also modify the alternate pregnancy controller.

Also, the only thing that would prevent the reaction in this case is that the father was a pollination technician.

Okay, I'll try the WildChild version. I temporarily got around the issue by severing the marriage relationship just before accelerating the preganncy and re-attaching it once the kid was out. Thanks!

Yes, that will work with the main version of the hack.

Out of curiosity, how are multi-PTs detected?

It checks if the father is a living sim in the Default household. Ordinarily the only sims like that that can get anyone pregnant are PTs.
