I wish there was a more 'gamer friendly' 'create a style' tool for Sims 4 that allows you to recolor objects. The Sims4Studio app is far too complex for my taste. Its actually the main reason I still play Sims 2 and Sims 3 instead.

Zerbu is working on this for CAS. I don't know of any tool like this in the works for objects.

I am trying to convert sims 3 GEOM to sims4 GEOM without reference mesh (accessories).
I select my sims3 GEOM and "GO"...
Appears the error : "The override vertex color is not a valid hex number!"

Sorry - this is a bug. It's fixed in V2.2.0.0 which I've just uploaded.

Hey Cmar!
How are you?
I came back to converting hairstyles after a looong time and I have a quick question: In the "Separate Mesh Layers" Tab is there any way I can get fewer layers? So far I have like 69 of them and the transparecy is sooo huge making it very difficult to find the one layer I need...you can see the pic below as a reference..(In the game it appears exactly as in the bottom left corner)
Any ideas?

You can combine all the back layers into one, if you're not doing that already. You can also experiment with the settings in the separate layers tool to see if you can get fewer layers that are still useful.

Other than that, which may not help, there's really no way to reduce the number. There's only limited ways to find the layers and when you start using methods that find fewer you lose some ability to rearrange them in a useful way. Ultimately this is only a tool to make a very tedious and difficult task more manageable, but it's still difficult and tedious.

I found turning on colored groups in the 3D view helped in finding the layers I wanted to move.

The head meshes are constructed differently, with three uv sets and vertex numbering, and Toolkit isn't really set up to deal with that.

Do you want to make default replacements or just use the mesh for assignments? Because if you use the default body mesh in the auto assign, it includes the head and you could use that for now at least. I'll have to track down the error and do a new version to fix it.

Default bugged male coat
Hello ,Cmar. I create a new mesh for male coat, (the OBJ file I convert to sims 4 format with auto tool in CAS Tools with categories top>Male>Lod 0 (and I do this for all lods). In game the coat have a bug with some pants (with many pants the coat works perfectly). Please help.
