Default WCIF.... Prize counters?
So, I'm wanting to make a retro style arcade in my sims 3 game... including the machines/items that give the festival tickets from sims 3 seasons. however, I came across a problem as I was planning the arcade in my head.... how will i add the prize counter?

Whenever I think arcades, I think of things like Chuck-e-cheese, Gr8 Sk8- a roller rink I went to growing up- an arcade at Six Flags, and an arcade that was in a bowling alley I used to bowl at as well. All of which had one thing in common, aside from the machines themselves..... Prize Counters!

I know i could put a festival stall into the building using cheats, but.... it would stand out a biiiit too much, at least for how I'm planning to build this thing..... I'm wanting to have the prizes showing behind the counter, too!

So, does anyone know of a way i can "convert" a festival stand into a standalone prize counter or item spot, or of someone that's already made an object similar to this? Thank you in advance, both for checking this wcif out, and if you're able to lead me in the right direction!

So, what I would do, is this: I'd use DOT's wire cube shelves from TSR (https://www.thesimsresource.com/dow...esh/id/1171772/) and fill them up with toys and tawdry vases and things. Then, I'd use any of a number of counters shaped like tables, or just any old suitable looking table, counter, or crate along with Around the Sims' OMSP made for the purpose (https://aroundthesims3.com/objects/...ntown_64.shtml), and then
use Ani's merchant mod (https://anitmb.tumblr.com/post/6792...eatures-and-bug) to allow actual toys and other such things to be sold out of inventory.

Somewhere on the site, Around the Sims has a separated roll of tickets you can put on the counter too.

I know that the festival stands have the option to get prizes with the tickets, but they all sell food as well, so I'd do it this way. If you don't care about the extra function of selling food, but you really want the tickets function and you want to make it look like it fits better inside an arcade, I'd do what I describe above, but use the transmogrifier mod (https://modthesims.info/d/592332/th...changer.html)to give any register at all the function of a festival stall, instead of using Ani's mod.

Thank you for such an interesting question! Now I feel like I have to remodel my arcade lot, or maybe my Boardwalk lot, to include this feature.

ooooh, i hadn't thought about doing this, thank you! I didn't even know there was a script changer for the registers!

It's not for registers in particular, it's for lots and lots of things! I'd say probably most things?
