In the other Veronaville lot with 2 buildings that had a balcony, I made a Casino as a home business. I discovered the maid automatically will work in the casino wearing the outfit that is assigned to her. I also discovered playing my next lot that is change of outfit went to all maids.

To get paid for a written novel, you have to actually take the call that, what I at that time thought to be just coincidental every single time, thus, ignored, comes immediately after your Sim literally pats themselves for their great feat of finishing their writing. It's not cheating if I kaching myself an appropriate compensation for the six non-paid novels I wrote, is it? I'm just getting what's legally mine, after all...

How do you cheat at a solo game? You'll have to guess at what your novel would have netted, but it seems to me you're entitled to correct it. Otherwise, you'll have to say they were writing fanfic and posted to AO3.

I don't know if it happens all the time or if it just glitches now and then, but if another sim answers the phone instead of you writer, that sim can end up with the "sold a good novel memory" completely undeserved.

You know, I really like the idea of her just having written fanfic, now that I think about it. Especially with her maxed film enthusiasm it seems fitting, so I think I'll rather go with this one lol.

That's actually how I figured out you had to take the call! Older sis finished her novel but younger bro got all the praise lol. I consider it revenge for all the tormenting in their childhood.

When you have a sim serve food while a toddler is in a highchair, your sim will serve the toddler a little bowl of Pablum. Pretty neat!

And if you forget them in the high chair they will do the most horrific noises in the entire game. Still traumatized from it.

Only if you haven't fed them. Feed them and they'll sit there indefinitely drumming their feet and humming.

Tiny children make horrific noises as a survival mechanism. They need adult attention so they have the means to get it and to punish neglectful adults.

I think Pescado's noplagiarism hack fixes this problem.

About 10 to 15 years ago, I wanted some camouflage clothing for my nature male sims. I learned how to use Body Shop and Gimp to recolor some clothing. The other day, I thought my female nature sims needed some, too. Although I remember everything in Body Shop I have to do, Gimp gave me some problems. To begin with we are talking about 10 to 15 years ago. I have changed computers a couple of times in that time, so I discovered all of my patterns in gimp, no longer exist. It took me all day, yesterday and part of today, figuring that part of gimp out. Now I need to rediscover how to do everything else in gimp. That probably will take me a while. But I'm up for it.

In the picture is one of the outfits I recolored 10 to 15 years, ago. I do always make backups and then put them on an external drive so I never lose anything, if my computer goes out.

Don't know how I never knew that Ctrl F when using floor tiles will make a quarter diagonal tile!
No more building a fence or wall to build a half-diagonal tile!
Now diagonal tiles are possible in apartments without cheats.
And I found out after redoing a BV lot, so this option has been around for a while!

This is more of a fun one I knew already, but if they're put in the highchair and served food but their hunger bar is already full, they'll throw the food out of their bowl, and then sit there smiling (until they throw a tantrum, demanding to be let down).

I heard they'll do that. Silly little scamps. Wish they could also do things like biting their own fingers and then crying until a parent or other caretaker snuggles them. My mom would tell me that when I was probably not even two years old yet and just starting to talk, one day I was in my highchair and eating cheerios, and she left the room. Then she heard me crying and came up and asked me what happened, not expecting me to answer. Well, from what she told me, I looked at her and then replied "Mouth bite you!"

The cause for the unexplainable freeze that happens sometimes is that a werewolf enters the lot. Now I know who to ban with visitor controller.

@Pideli I had a werewolf and she nibbled some NPCs; I had to cure them as the game froze whever the werewolf maid or werewolf gardener turned up! I think the game has to decide what time of day it is and what skin they should be wearing.

So turning certain NPCs (not counting the ones that should never be messed with like Grimmy and Crumplebutt) into werewolves will cause trouble?

Not trouble, just caused a 20 second game freeze on my poor ancient simming computer.

So with a newer, Win 10 computer with fairly good RAM will not have that problem? Though I do have a bit of a delay at times when my Plumbob Keep crops mature or a new NPC is created.

I have the same problem with witches spawning on lots, which is why I make darn sure to ban them first. No matter how innocuous they might be, they drag the game to a literal crawl. I usually delete them off the lot-along with the Unsavory Charlatan.

I like witches and other paranormals, though I think I might want to look for something that nerfs the Thrones so they only fill up the hunger or bladder motives (but still deplete all non-environment motives for incompatible alignments, and possibly others. And maybe a mod that makes the Energizer and snapdragons only fill up three random motives (but still deplete all non-environment motives if it fails).

It's fine not to have a driveway to the road. You can just have a driveway extension and the car will teleport to the road. Goes quicker too. Which means significantly more households will be able to have a car.
