Wow. Just discovered this great 'hood by way of your terrific Katrina lots. So I've been on a bit of a downloading binge, getting all your fabulous lots and this wonderful, wonderful neighborhood.

THANK YOU very much for sharing all of this with us.

This neighorbood looks great and I also just saw your Katrina Cottages, I can't wait to try them both out. Thanks for taking the time to do this, it is much appreciated becase I have no clue on how to make a neighborhood with beach lots.

I love this lot, what a fantastic piece of work.
I do, however, have one tiny little problem.
When my sims get sunburned the face will return to its natural shade but the body won't. I haven't found this problem with BV (at least not that I am aware of), only on this lot. It really doesn't bother me too much so I thought I would just mention it.
Other than that it is by far my favorite lot.

This isn't a lot, its a neighborhood, and your problem actually would have absolutely nothing to do with this download. This terrain wasn't created for BV, just with BV in mind. I'd suggest looking in the Game Help section to figure out whats going on with your game.

It looks really nice but it always gives me a window that something went wrong when I try to download it :/

Thanks so much for this 'hood (and all the nice lots too)! I get tired of making my own, and this will fill up nicely and really make the 'hood seem like a real 'hood instead of the usual hodgepodge or emptiness of my own creations.

I have been having problems placing beach lots in this neighborhood and no matter what I do if its a downloaded beach lot it will not place no matter what. yes I have checked that they are beach lots and I have successfully placed empty beach lots. any ideas to why they wont place? (one such lot is the coconut village club by ninipupucea on this site just one of the many I have tried since BV came out)

I went and downloaded the coconut club you mentioned and I was also unable to place it. From what I could see of it in the neighborhood view, the slope of that beach is much shallower than the beaches in this hood. I imagine most downloaded lots are created in Twikki Island where the beaches are more graceful. I'm sorry I didn't realize this when I was making the terrain, though I had a heck of a time just getting (empty) beach lots to be placeable in the first place. Sorry!

Disregard Post About Missing SandSimoleanPoint.sc4
Thought I had the WinRAR Program on my PC when I didn't. Downloaded WinRAR and all files were there. I've already created my 'SandSimoleanPoint' hood. Looks great! Thanks for the sharing.

Disregard the rest of this message. Leaving it though in case others have trouble paying attention to details. Geez, how could I have made such an obvious oversight.

Would really like to use this 'hood' but when I open the Phaenoh-SandSimoleanPoint.rar there is no SandSimoleanPoint.sc4 file and only the SandSimoleanPoint.png.

Am I missing something about this download, or is the download missing the sc4 file.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Happy Simming!

'mod the sims 2' is a quality place.

What a wonderful coincidence! I was just wondering how I would satisfy my sims' needs for some great beach vacation homes, but I would never have thought of creating a sub-hood with so many beach house locations. I appreciate your charming creativity with this whole project. Great pictures, too; they make me wish that Sand Simolean Point was real.

Hi I thought I mention it, I really love your little neighbourhood but could you please number the houses on the map so I can see were to put each house?

This neighborhood looks fabulous! But maybe I have done something wrong. I have NEVER been able to get any neighborhood other than the Maxix ones that come with the games to work for me. I have tried several others, but hoped this lovely beach setting would work. Saddly, after I started adding houses and sims, a multitude of game freeze-ups and shutdowns started, as I have experienced with other "home made" neighborhoods before. Do you have any idea what may cause that? Thanks for your insight.

Perhaps you aren't following the install instructions for new terrains correctly or you might have a hack that is messing up that process. Try looking in the Help sections.
