Welll , i cant get sony vegas around here where i live so i used Vegas Movie Studio + Dvd Platinum 6.0 Which has less effects then the original sony vegas!
For a plain background (or black) You just have to use the chroma keyer effect!
What you do is you make your whole room Green (Green Floors , Green Walls) Make sure its not to dark (the paint/carpet) Make sure its fully lighted.
Once you finish filming You put it into you programe... other than windows movie maker.
Look at the video effects,select chroma keyer. Drag put on the clip / the background will dissapear which allows you if you want to add a background. So for example , they could be floating on a cloud!
Find a cloud pic, Open it on sony vegas etc.etc.
You MUST put the original vid with the black backround ... now or the green room vid , whatever you call it On Video Overlay
Then put the background on video. It should work , Although it may make it dark so you want to play around with settings etc. And lighting in the game!
