The IP version works fine on the ground and below the fifth floor, but it speeds up to obscene levels (we're talking an entire city block in a tap) at higher elevations. Particularly when at the penthouse level of anything in Bridgeport, making it ultra frustrating to try to take pictures while living in or visiting one of the dozen or so high-rise lots or clubbing at Aquarius, Plasma 501 or the Prosper Room. From my sims' current home at One Leo Center, a *tap* sends my camera from the middle of the first floor clear across the street and halfway down the next block so I'm staring at the back of another building.

I want to be clear: this behavior ONLY happens when in the upper levels of a high-rise building, not even on the ground floor or a story or two above that, so it's very much an elevation-to-speed thing, like the speed of the map-cam got ported down to highrise level. The camera works perfectly everywhere else, even in spots where it used to inexplicably fall into the foundation on the old version. So if you don't play in Bridgeport or one of the various non-EA cities that use highrise shells, the IP version is the way to go. Otherwise, roll back.

The camera doesn't go down to the floor for me. IP + IP version.

Great camera mod. Makes picture taking much better in the sims 3.

How do you use it in the game?

I've been using your camera mods for as long as I can remember and was excited when I finally installed IP this weekend and could use your mod for that game. BooHoo! It doesn't work. I have IP and patched through 1.63 (holding off on 1.66/1.67 as long as I can) and the camera is behaving strictly as EA. No more sky...no more ground level...I've been using it so long that it actually feels like a part of the game is gone.

I want to add my "Please can you fix this for 1.63/1.66/1.67"....

Same here, I want install the file here C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Ini. it's written :
" allow it to overwrite the original", but the file overwrite anything in my game because the files in my game have not the same name and they are not packages !
