I am the first! Thank you, I hardly used paint from reference because it was so restricted. Now at last I can have some actual new things to paint. I am happy that you have returned.

Thanks! I myself hated the paint from reference for the exact reason you mentioned (as well as the blobby paintings, which I already addressed with the set filters mod). It took a ridiculous amount of trial and error to figure this one out, primarily just coming up with the right approach to the problem, but I was happily rewarded when late last night things started to come together.

Ohmygosh this is so perfect for my current legacy. I didn't get GTW until recently so I had my heirs paint every sim in their generation normally (56 total sims so far ) and it was a pain in the butt trying to stage the easels and poses on tiny lots or apartments, but this is definitely going to help out a LOT.

Thank you! This is great. I have tried to use paint from reference besides some abstracts using the top of the sims head, I got one decent painting by pure luck and never use it again. I love this, thanks again.

Thank you so much! This is how the paint from reference function should work by default, in my opinion...

Sometimes when moving the reference from inventory and placing it on the easel it doesn't show up and you can't interact with the easel. But if you leave the zone and come back it will be on the easel and you can go ahead and paint it. It doesn't happen often, out of the 40 or so pictures I've done sense getting the mod a few days ago it's happened 3 or 4 times. Just thought you would want to know about it and to let others know no to panic if it happens to them just leave the zone and come back.
Still Loving the mod, it's easier to set up a shot with the camera than with a portable easel.
