WOW, this is incredible. I wish this existed years ago! (And that I found it when it was out last year...) This has been such a hassle ever since I first started playing Sims 2 shortly after release. I can't thank you enough. I make almost every sim with a specific mate for them in another home and I have to stalk the front yard for ages until they walk by, or go downtown frequently! Thank you, thank you, thank you. :'D

I have every EP for Sims 2...every time the phone rings my sim loses any and all cell phones they have purchased.
I have only these mods installed:

driveway-as-a-parking-space-Mog-20101104.package
Eat_Civilized_99.package
ijAutoCashRegister.package

ijEmployeeToken.package
ijTimedOpenCloseSign.package

Could your mod be causing this?

I highly doubt my mod could be causing your issue, but try taking just mine out and seeing what happens. Though its a phone book, my mod has nothing to do with phone calls, cell phones, or inventories. If your problem persists after taking my mod out, try taking out the rest of your mods and trying it again. If the bug goes away you can do the 50-50 method to figure out which one is causing the problem, but if your bug does not go away, that means you have some mods installed that you did not know about and one of them (most likely) is what is actually causing your problem.
