I'm guessing it will work, but have no way to verify. I'd be interested to hear if anybody with an unpatched game has issues with this.

Thank you for working on this. I have Ford's original one. I will test this with my games that are patched to 1.67 to see how it works and report back.

Would this tell me if a mod can't be used? like a slider pack?

Most likely not. I have not dived into all the functionality, just cleaned up a few problems caused by the 1.69 patch. The original post by FordGT has a lot more detail and insight into features and limitations.

This doesn't seem to work for me at all. Upon launching I get an error message about skuversion.txt missing or corrupt for each EP and SP I have installed. Once I dismiss all those error messages the main window displays the following error message: Incorrect Executable - Expecting ts3w.exe, Got: TS3.exe. Exporting a CC list worked fine. My game crashed today, I do have the crash files in the TS3 folder. I've never used the original Crash Log Analyzer, so I'm not sure quite what to expect.

Are you running 1.69? I can try to take a look at it this weekend. If you want, copy the whole error text into a pm. I have an autistic child who keeps us pretty busy, so I can't make any promises.

I get the same thing "missing or corrupted skuversion.txt", then lists which expansion (all of them) and recommends reinstalling it. I'm running on the latest version of Sims 3 because I did a reinstall of the game about a month ago. Program still seems to find and list crash logs found in game directory, which still turns up as "incorrect executable - expecting : ts3w.exe, got : ts3.exe" which I've still yet to figure out what triggers that kind of crash, but doesn't happen often enough (normally when I save and exit game) to be of concern, but was hoping it was just an issue with patch version. At least it seems to be consistent with what the old one kept giving me (was able to get it running on an XP system I have) XD

Follow the link to the original program. FordGT has provided a lot of detail regarding features and limitations in that post.

I was looking up that error and saw something about using an old shortcut in one of the other forums. It might be worth creating a new shortcut to the launcher and seeing what happens?

I am getting the same error that Tysakasa is getting with this. I checked the directory and it is reading the correct directory path to where my Sims 3 files are, but it keeps prompting "missing or corrupted skuversion.txt". My game is up-to-date, all expansions and stuff packs installed through Origin, so no idea why it's giving me the error.

I may have some time to poke around at it this weekend. Origin may be the issue. Does your game crash as well?

It has been recently, and I downloaded this to see what was the root cause of the crashes, but when I tried running the analyzer, I just get the prompts that the "skuversion.txt" is missing or corrupted.

Probably not. If FordGT somehow managed to pull that off, he needs to work on Windows 10 next...

So...I'm curious. I got the cause "Incorrect Executable - Expecting ts3w.exe. Got: TS3.exe." I've already disabled DEP, but it's still saying it. Is anyone else having this issue? Did anyone figure out how to fix it? My game crashes ever half hour to hour with this problem.

I posted this on the original thread for the Crash Log Analyzer as well, but I know that the creator won't be responding. I have your 1.69 version.

I've had a couple of PM's suggesting the exe name changed from ts3w.exe to ts3.exe after the 1 69 patch. Your launcher may still be looking for the old executable. You might try locating the new exe and run it outside the launcher. There may even be mods on this site to replace the EA launcher
