This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default How to connect TS2 with my NVIDIA graphics card instead of the memory card?
I'm reinstalling TS2 on my new laptop, and the issue I stumble upon is that it doesn't connect with my NVIDIA graphics card.
What steps should I take? Should I modify something else in my Graphic Rules, or do I have to do something in the NVIDIA software?

Some details:
1. I've forced the texture memory to 4 GB with Graphic Rules Maker, which worked
2. Graphic Rules Maker doesn't recognize NVIDIA properly (see attached image)
3. The NVIDIA graphics card is properly listed in the Video Cards file
2. I've also installed Sims2RPC for the 4 GB patch plugin, so the memory is set up well.
3. I run on Windows 10

Here is my log -- I've marked the oddities in bold

You need to make the changes in your windows setting.
Open Settings from the Start Menu
Type Graphics in the box that says Find a Setting
You should now see Graphics Performance Preference, with a dropdown meu - Select app.
Click Browse and find the Sims 2 app - and change that to Nvidia.

(If this does not work at once, you may need to change the Nvidia settings as well).

The above worked for me on Windows 10, but there may be a way to use the Nvidia card only.
