Thanks so much Monique!!

After months of trying and failing to produce such a book, I'm happy to see that you made it a reality!! Good job on your book.

This hack does work, yeah, but, what happens when your neat freak sim wants to put the book back on the shelf?? She left the book out ONCE, so I capitalized a few times. Had another SIM look at it, but HE put it back on the shelf!!! {smirk}

*EDIT*
Ohhhh.. Theres two of 'em. Global hack and a buy book. Gonna download the buy (18% right now, darned dial up) and see what the buy is like.

Now, question not really directed at this, how does one get rid of hacks? Can you just delete the packages from the downloads folder, or, do you have to get one of those clean uninstallers?
*END EDIT*

To get rid of hacks, yes just delete the package from the downloads folder.

Dont worry I'm working a bookcase now.

Love your work Monique! At the rate you're going, I'm going to have to create a subfolder in my Downloads, just for your stuff. Thank you, thank you!

Oooo, great! Just what I wanted - now I can run my small homes and not have furniture on the lawn for the skills, lol. Kinda ruins their look!

I really like this, just one thing. Could you make the buyable book cost $5.

I love the idea of a buyable book, but not all the extra skills. Could you post a download of a buyable book that:

1. Costs about §5
2. Has a description that explains why sims can learn mechanical, cooking, and cleaning from the same book and credits you for making it buyable in not such an obvious way (maybe call it "How to Do Just About Anything Around the House , by Monique" or something like that)
3. Does not mention the global hack in its description

If so, it would be perfect!

Very cool. Seems like the sims I play with most are better readers than chess players, so for the logic builder, alone, I love this. Thanks!

I do like dadditude's idea about the title, too. I've always liked "Handbook of Useful Information" from Chuck Jones' 'Dover Boys' cartoon. How much more all-encompassing can you get? And raising body points by reading is logical, if you think of all the diet and fitness books that exist.
