That's a pretty good idea. I just hope that EA managed to set up the internals correctly to actually make it work.

Side-note: I wonder if a sim drinking chamomile tea with a negative energy value when they are at very low energy would cause them to immediately pass out...

Thank you for making this mod! :D

On another note, I know this is a stupid question but I just want to be sure I've done it right. So, the instructions say, "1. - Drop the .package in /Mods as usual 2. - Make an empty folder named "unpackedmod" in /Mods". I am NOT supposed to then move the files into that new folder, correct? I leave the files in the /Mods folder? ^_^

Please see the photo reference! It should look similar to that. (I used another mod for the photo reference, but it's the same principle.)

Awesome, sipping coffee for no effect when in a rush sucks, because it did nothing. This helps alot.

Yeah, coffee always angered me in Sims 3. You drink a cup, and all you've done is:

1. Get a temporary addiction that gives a buzz crash if you stop drinking it
2. Prevent yourself from being able to sleep
3. Add like 0.001 percent energy to your sim

Thank goodness you made coffee and tea actually matter. Thanks!

Patch 10-1-2014 files are now live. You only need them for the coffee only.

I noticed that with the update the unpacked mods folder seems no longer be required. Can (or must) we take it out now or is it still needed for other mods? (I already asked in "stupid questions", but nobody answered)

You can take it out. I have tested it myself, and things work just fine without it. (I also got rid of that extra line in the Resource file.)

Thank you for this mod!
My only complaint (not about the mod) is that it takes them forever to drink a single cup of coffee. ^_^

It seems that since the patch and your update of this mod, coffee is now making Sims energized. Did you do that with the mod, or did Maxis do that with the patch?

Adding energy to coffee was the purpose of this mod.

Edit: You mean the energized moodlet thing...yes, that was always there. And if your sim drinks too much coffee they get a different moodlet. My sims got that one a lot while testing this mod.
