I made a hair mesh which turned out to be REALLY good, it's on the CFF, but when I make a sim and try and put it in a house (a sim with the hair mesh I made) the game just closes. I t doesn't have any error popup or ANTHING of the sort, it ust closes as soon as I do move into house or something like that. I don't know if it's the mesh, DABOOBS or something but it's hurting my poor little game.

ZimZ - That's usually an LODs issue. Never figured out exactly how to -avoid- it, just had it a few times in making my hairs. Only way I've fixed it is to redo the LODs. Maybe you missed pasting a comment somewhere, or have double comments, or have a missing bone assignment, or something like that - as I said, never identified exactly what it is that causes it, but you can use your OBJ format LODs and remake them afresh. Hopefully you saved your project in DABOOBS so you just have to replace the LOD filenames and generate a new file to test whether that was your problem.

Thankyou, I probably forgot to paste a comment in one of the LODs.

Thank you so much Delphy! I've never tried hair meshes before but I might as well take a look and play around. Dumb question: What is Q-Mesh?
I take it Milkshape 3-D won't cut it for this one?

Ooops. Ignore that question. I just looked at the tutorial and saw that it is a plugin for Milkshape. Durrr.

Again, thank you!

austin, is you "Documents\shortcuts\Hair Flip Mesh Stuff" a real folder, or just a shortcut to somewhere else on the drive? If it's a shortcut then try pointing it to the real folder and see if that works.

It says it was last modified 7/27/2009. I'll download it again to make sure though...well I figured out what I was doing wrong, I wasn't adding the "key" part to the texture keys...but I installed it with the installer helper monkey and my sims 3 crashes every time I get to hair category in the style a sim. I'm not sure what else I did wrong now..

Really awesome, thank you so much for all your effort and make our life easier. Now I just have to learn to make the textures for the hair since I have just learned to do meshes xD

But I have a question... I know is lot of work, but do you have any plans of making abble to make hairs with "hat"?
