Default Mystery Penguin
Recently, i have herd rumors of a Penguin coming to our simmys towns. Anyone know anything about this, other than it appears on winter.

What does it do?
How does it benifit our sims?
How does it *the opposit to benifit* our sims?
Why does it appear?
How does it appear?

Anyother thoughts or suggestions to explain this mysterious creature?!??

Maxis said something about if you leave fish out it comes. Also, they said that they talk to snowmen or something.

lol. yes that was one freaky thing. i loved it how it ate the honey but got attacked and ran away. Good times.


But somewhat i hope it is not like claire the bear, we are sims 2 now not the olden days, we should be hoping for more from our new age of sims :P

Here's all the stuff about the penguin:

-appears during winter (I think a site said fall too, but that would be weird)
-eats fish left on the ground, especially the best fish you can catch in the game
-will try to talk to snowmen (makes sense a little bit)
-sims can either give the penguin a pat on the head or shoo it
-penguins don't stay on the lot for very long

I do remember Maxis saying that the penguin has no real purpose other than those things. Unfortunately the penguin cannot be kept as a pet, darn!

I have seen screenshots on this little guy, (unfortunately don´t remember where) and it´s so cute!! :lovestruc

A plant sim is one that has gone... overboard... with fertilizers and pesticides on their plants. They start to take effect... the cure is available through the garden club, I think. *back on topic* I just saw the penguin and it is SOOO cute! I can't wait to see it in my game! :D

LOL he does a little, you never know with this game.

The plant people look REALLY cool..

I wonder if this EP will the option to shovel snow and gain body points...

Until we shrink down the Mesh and exchange it for, per say, a Parrot GMDC....Mwahahahahah.

I would guess there will be a lot of work done to see if that's hackable though, so don't give up hope of pet penguins one day.

,i think the plant people look cute, the penguin looks really freaky and fuzzy all at the same time. We never know what is around the corner, thankyou for your intrest in this thread peeps
